CHAPTER 59: QI LUST (1)

The lifeless body had dried out, it’s bones sticking out, it’s eyes void of life. It’s skin cold and pale.

Caden stared blankly at the lifeless corpse of the female staff, an innocent life he had taken for his selfish interest.

Yet his eyes were hollow, it was as if he felt nothing.

Even though he tried forcing out a feeling. It was empty, Caden isn’t a human after all, he’s something beyond that.

Caden was too engrossed with the lustful desires he had felt. The feeling of absorbing Qi had distracted.

Caden breathed in deeply "This woman was innocent, she was someone I simply wanted to test my skills on her"

He stared at his hands "But this feeling, I’ve never felt it anymore, I couldn’t control it"

His eyes twitched as he spoke "I want me, I’m hungry.....I need to satisfy myself" He muttered.

The lifeless body was still hidden in the corner and Caden dashed out. He moved at superspeed.

Not wanting anyone to see him leaving the corner. It would be easy to figure out what he had done.

Caden was overwhelmed, too distracted by this pleasant feeling that he ignored the body.

Leaving it open, he sprinted. He noticed a group of soldiers moving, they were in charge of safeguarding the perimeter they were commisoned to stay.

Both were Sword Level, Sword Veterans and they were both in the middle-stage, armed with weapons.

Caden hid as he observed them, "That was an ordinary woman, If I get this two.... would it satisfy me?" He muttered.

Caden had activated the S-Ranked Skill: Shadow Cloak. Even if he was in plain sight, he would not be seen.

That was how extraordinary this S-Ranked Skill was.

After finding the perfect striking range, Caden dashed forward. Within an instant, he attacked the first soldier, knocking him out.

Upon noticing it, the second soldier drew his blade. Unsheathing it and it was swung against Caden.

Caden blocked the bladed attack with his draconic scales, his eyes flickered and in that moment.

The second soldier was also knocked out.

"Another round" He mumbled, he carried the two soldiers and he dashed into the corner once again.

[Sub Skill: Qi Drain is in use]

Caden placed his hand on the forehead of the first soldier, his lips curled into a faint smile, he felt it once again.

This feeling satisfied his lust, at first, he was draining and absorbing the Qi within the body of the target.

Minutes later, once all the Qi were extracted. It drew out the lifespan of the target.

Drying out his flesh as he shook, trying to break free but Caden was too engrossed to notice.

[Qi Drain has completed it’s task]

[You’ve received 200 Qi Points]

Caden regained his composure, he glanced at the lifeless body, dried out on the ground, he moved on.

[Sub Skill: Qi Drain is in use]

Repeating the same procedure, Caden drained and absorbed the Qi within the soldier’s body.

As time went by, he could feel the lust rising ten folds. A loud chuckle resonated with the air.

And the next notification popped up minutes later.

[Qi Drain has completed it’s task]

[You’ve received 200 Qi Points]

Once his lust has been satisfied, Caden staggered back. He regained his senses, now understanding what he had just done.

His eyes widened in shock "I caused all of this?" his heart shook "I killed all of them?" He staggered once again.

"Am I a monster?" His voice croaked, he was in a form of trance. Allowing his lust to take over.

Allowing the feeling to control him, he killed this people. Workers who never did him wrong.

Caden felt bitterness in his heart.

He tried crying but he found no tears, he stood motionless until he could hear approaching footsteps drawing closer.

Using his S-Ranked Skill: Shadow Cloak.

Caden was nowhere to be found as he ran through the walls. Returning back to his dorm room.

A soldier who was on patrolling sensed something strange as he couldn’t see his fellow soldiers who were meant to safeguard this position.

He tried contacting them through their secret means but he received not a single answer.

That was when he got worried.

Searching through every corner of the area they were meant to safeguard. That was when he stumbled upon their lifeless bodies.

Their flesh dried out, their skin pale, their eyes hollow. Void of life.

And the fact that it wasn’t only them. There was also a female staff who had fallen victim just like them.

The soldier wasted no time as he contacted the command base. More soldiers rusher to the scene.

Many were startled to see the corpses, there were no signs of struggle, no cut or bruises on their bodies.

Except the bruises Caden had created when he knocked them out and dragged them into the corner.

When the news got to the Head Chancellor Darius Kincaid.

That was when everyone knew this is definitely a serious case.

A door shaped portal appeared before them, Darius Kincaid was the first to emerge from the portal.

Behind him were his two trusted aides, both were powerful figures on their own.

This time, the mysterious guest was not present for he had left the academy, to make his report back to the Supreme Council.

Darius’s eyelid twitched for a second, his eyes reddened. He clenched his fist tightly, struggling to control his rage.

There was abrupt silence in the air.

Everyone watched, determined to see what the head chancellor had to say regarding this matter..

Darius took a step forward, his eyes fixed on the three bodies laid before them. They died using the same pattern.

Their dried flesh, paled skin and hollow eyes, Darius approached the young lady, he stretched forth his hand.

He softly exhaled "It’s just as I thought, this is really the work of that Red assasin who wanted to take Caden’s life"

"This time....they weren’t controlled as blood puppets" Darius eyebrows furrowed "THAT RED BASTARD STOLE THEIR LIVES!!" Darius cursed out loud.

He slightly tilted his head, his eyes fixed on one of the dead soldiers "To think you not only had the guts to sneak into my Academy’’

"It didn’t just stop when you tortured my students and tried to assasinate Caden Ryder"

His body flickered for a second "Now you mock me huh?" his voice etched with venom "You mock me by killing my workers"

"I assure you Red scums.....when I get my hands on you, you’ll pay with your life....."

"You’ll beg me for death and i won’t give it to you so easily!!"
