Primordial World: Big shots are all my friends
Chapter 506 - 449, Yin God
CHAPTER 506: CHAPTER 449, YIN GOD
Nuwa’s mighty voice resounded: "After eons of passing time, they have long forsaken their faith in me, and I had long stopped paying them any heed.
Yet unbeknownst to me when they had strayed from the path, it was only during your cleansing of the Divine Palace that my heart was stirred, and my gaze was cast upon them once again to see all that has occurred.
Bai Jin~"
Bai Jin made a respectful bow and replied, "Your disciple is here!"
"The matters of the Daughter Country bear my cause and effect. Go and guide them back onto the right path."
Bai Jin hesitated before saying, "Nuwa, why don’t we just annihilate the Daughter Country?"
Nuwa spoke irritably, "Stop talking nonsense, bloodshed cannot resolve issues. Creation is about guidance. The karma they have incurred, let the Underworld pass judgement upon their death."
Bai Jin nodded repeatedly, agreeing, "What Nuwa says is right, your disciple also believes that guidance should be the priority."
"Nuwa, what do you think is the best way to guide them? Your disciple is dull-witted, please enlighten me, Nuwa!"
Nuwa calmly spoke, "It’s quite straightforward. Since it began with the Creation Spring, you may appoint an Immortal God to guard it, forbidding ordinary people from drawing water. Educate the people of Daughter Country, and in just a few generations, Daughter Country will return to normal."
An idea flashed through Bai Jin’s mind — wasn’t this a task for Immortal Ruyi? Could it be that Immortal Ruyi’s presence in the Daughter Country in past lives was by the command of Nuwa? This would also explain why Immortal Ruyi collected money there; mundane treasures are useless to Immortal Gods.
Bai Jin immediately made a respectful bow, replying, "As you command!"
"Go then!"
Bai Jin turned and walked towards the exit, transforming into a streak of light as he surged out of the hall. Above Daughter Country, amid the ripples in the sky, Bai Jin flew out, and the ripples instantly vanished.
Bai Jin landed atop a mountain peak, murmuring in anguish, "One Mistress asks me to guide gently; another commands thunderous execution. Isn’t this troubling for me, Bai He? It feels like I am in hot water!"
Looking towards the arrayed buildings of Daughter Country in the distance, his expression changed several times. He murmured to himself, feeling torn between the need for thunderous force and gentle guidance, which were completely opposite directions! What should I do? Could it be that both Mistresses arranged this together?
Yet upon further thought, he found it unlikely. My Mistresses would not be so idle; it must be mere coincidence.
Bai Jin sat cross-legged at the mountain’s summit, looking towards Daughter Country lost in thought, "I cannot afford to offend either Mistress, what should I do in the end?"
A month later, under the scorching summer sun, Bai Jin suddenly rose into the air, deciding to take a chance.
He reached out to grasp, and a deadwood scepter appeared in his hand. Thrusting the scepter into the mountain summit, bang — it plunged deep into the stone, and the entire summit turned pitch black, with faint ghostly winds howling.
Bai Jin called out, "Day and Night Wandering Gods, come forth and meet me!"
Atop the dark mountain summit, two beams of Divine Light rose, turning into two divine beings clad in green, one wearing the Great Sun God Crown, the other wearing the Curved Moon God Crown.
Day and Night Wandering Gods made a respectful bow together, reverently greeted, "Your humble servants greet the Emperor of Inspection!"
"Rise!"
The Day and Night Wandering Gods got up and stood by his side.
Bai Jin pointed towards the Daughter Country Capital and said, "Look over there!"
The Day and Night Wandering Gods looked in the direction of Bai Jin’s pointing, and through their divine sight, they saw ghostly and resentful energies pervading the Daughter Country, with baby spirits climbing over buildings and streets.
The Day Patrol Deity’s face changed, exclaiming in shock, "How can there be so many baby spirits? Could it be that this country’s babies cannot be born?"
The Night Patrol Deity’s eyes, sharp as lightning, suddenly said, "This is the Daughter Country. I have surveyed this place before and reported the situation to the Judges, but I did not expect it would alarm the Emperor of Supervision."
Bai Jin glanced at the Day Patrol Deity and said, "You have been negligent!"
The Day Patrol Deity immediately bowed his head, forehead breaking out in a dense cold sweat, "I have indeed made a mistake!"
"Your faults will be judged by King Qinguang, but you are summoned here now to deal with this matter."
The Day and Night Wandering Gods said in unison, "We will certainly capture all the baby spirits."
Bai Jin said coldly, "No need to capture them, I want you to bestow power upon them. The Mortal World needs a warning."
The Night Patrol Deity hesitated for a moment before replying respectfully, "Emperor, the Underworld should not interfere with mortal affairs."
"This is the will of Nuwa."
The Day and Night Wandering Gods immediately became solemn and replied respectfully in unison, "As you command!" Then they turned into a wisp of black smoke and vanished from sight.

In the early morning, the sound of gongs and drums echoed within the Daughter Country. All the citizens joyously emerged from their homes, splashing Holy Water from their basins onto each other, filling the Daughter Country with screams of surprise and laughter.
In the Imperial Palace, the Queen of Women’s Country, accompanied by civil and military officials, walked onto the palace walls.
The beautiful Queen, resting her hand on the wall, looked down at the bustling scene below, smiling and said, "Bring me the water!"
A Female Official approached, carrying a golden basin filled with bright and clear Holy Water.
The Queen of Women’s Country picked up the golden basin and poured it down, splashing Holy Water upon the people below.
The citizens below were elated, joyously shouting as they looked up and welcomed the Holy Water.
The Queen smiled and said, "Our Daughter Country is blessed by the Holy River, free from disasters and diseases. Childbearing is but a thought away, truly the happiest place in the world."
The civil and military officials behind her all nodded, smiling as they watched the Daughter Country indulging in the merry-making of the annual Water-Splashing Festival, in gratitude to the grace of the Holy River.
Boom~
A sudden peal of thunder rumbled across the clear sky, as the weather abruptly changed and dark clouds swiftly shrouded the heavens, eclipsing the sun.
The Daughter Country was plunged into darkness, and the joyful water-splashing crowd stopped, looking up uneasily at the changing skies.
The Queen of Women’s Country and the civil and military officials also looked up.
The Queen frowned and asked, "Heavenly Observation Bureau, what is going on?"
A Female Official stepped forward from behind, fearfully saying, "Your Majesty, the celestial patterns from last night indicated that today was supposed to be graced by a Fierce Sun."
"So what is happening now?"
The chief of the Heavenly Observation Bureau twitched his mouth, wanting to weep but unable to, said, "I, I do not know."

...
Blood-red lightning, like piercing swords, streaked across the sky, shocking Heaven and Earth.
The King and the officials atop the city wall turned deathly pale with fright.
The chief of the Heavenly Observation Bureau urged quickly, "Your Majesty, this celestial phenomenon is not ordinary, please move inside the Royal Palace."
The other officials nodded repeatedly, their eyes filled with fear—for the might of Heaven and Earth is irresistible.
The Queen turned to walk down, but the sky darkened with rolling black clouds, as two Yin Gods appeared above, standing atop the clouds, their indifferent gazes sweeping over the living beings below. A terrifying pressure enveloped Heaven and Earth, truly as if manifesting the majesty of divine retribution.
The Queen and officials halted in their steps, looking up at the two figures in the sky, their eyes filled with confusion and incredulity—were they Gods, demons, or Evil Spirits?!
