Chapter 296 - 296 296 Bear With It
Chapter 296: Chapter 296: Bear With It Chapter 296: Chapter 296: Bear With It Two days later, Tang Yu was playing with the little penguin by the door alone at Ye Mansion.
A car rolled in and stopped at the entrance—Lin Shuhuan got out of the car.
Seeing her, Tang Yu seemed to guess the purpose of her visit.
Inside the hall, Uncle Wen served tea.
“You may leave us; we need to talk,” Lin Shuhuan said.
Uncle Wen hesitated with a glance at Tang Yu.
“What are you looking at her for? Does she think she’s the lady of this house?” Lin Shuhuan’s expression darkened.
“He didn’t mean that,” Tang Yu said.
Uncle Wen bowed his head and left.
Tang Yu asked, “What do you want to talk to me about? Is it about the gift?”
“How can you give Sihan a surprise if you let others know about it? Now that the servants are aware, Sihan will know in the next second,” Lin Shuhuan explained.
Tang Yu found that reasonable, “Uncle Wen was just worried I might speak carelessly, nothing more.”
“You’re quite good at winning people over,” Lin Shuhuan remarked.
Tang Yu remained silent, watching Lin Shuhuan pull a box out from her bag.
“I asked some friends, it took quite an effort to get this. You can just give it to Sihan directly; there’s no need to have another one custom-made.”
Tang Yu took the box, opened it, and inside was a brand-new belt—black, with subtle dark patterns and a silver buckle, featuring a familiar trademark logo.
“Hasn’t this brand always been available?” Tang Yu inquired.
This top-end brand, where any single item, even a mere tie, would cost the equivalent of several years’ salary for an average person.
“They have, but they stopped making belts,” Lin Shuhuan said, taking a sip of tea.
Tang Yu thought to herself that this was indeed the world of the wealthy—Ye Sihan could afford such expensive brands at such a young age.
“Keep it! Find an opportunity to give it to him,” Lin Shuhuan urged.
“How much is it? I’ll pay you,” Tang Yu hastily offered.
Lin Shuhuan didn’t refuse the money; the transfer was made, and she accepted it, then stood up, “No need to see me out.”
Tang Yu stood at the door, watching Lin Shuhuan’s car drive away.
She felt that Lin Shuhuan was a strange person—to say she was unkind, yet she helped arrange a gift; to say she was kind, yet something felt odd.
Later, Tang Yu searched for the brand on her phone and indeed found no belts.
They weren’t available on the market, not even the high-quality replicas.
Happy with the gift, Tang Yu imagined Ye Sihan’s emotions when he received it, and she couldn’t help but smile.
Late at night, after the children went to bed, Tang Yu headed for the master bedroom.
Ye Sihan hadn’t returned to the room yet; she took the gift out from the drawer and went down to the study.
Standing in front of the study door, one hand hid the gift behind her, while the other knocked on the door.
Only after hearing that deep, affirmative voice inside did she open the door and enter.
Ye Sihan stood by the window, on the phone.
Tang Yu softly closed the door and approached, both hands behind her back, waiting silently beside him.
Ye Sihan didn’t speak; it was the person on the phone doing all the talking, occasionally uttering a ‘hm’.
His sharp, deep gaze glanced behind her, and then he reached out his hand.
Tang Yu bit her lip, annoyed, and frowned.
She thought she had hidden it well, yet she had still been discovered.
“I’ll wait until you finish your call,” Tang Yu mouthed silently.
Ye Sihan grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him.
Tang Yu stumbled into his embrace, and the next second, her lips were kissed.
In her dazed moment, the gift was snatched from her hands.
Tang Yu glared at him fuming.
Seeing Ye Sihan staring at the box in his hand, she took the initiative to open the lid, revealing the belt inside.
Tang Yu anticipated Ye Sihan’s reaction.
However, Ye Sihan’s hand trembled, and the box fell, landing with a smack.
The box flipped over, and the belt fell out, twisting on the ground like a black snake.
Tang Yu paused, thinking Ye Sihan had not held it steady, and immediately squatted down to pick up the belt.
But while picking it up, she felt something was off about the motionless long leg beside her.
It wasn’t the leg that was off, but the atmosphere.
Oppressive, dangerous, even filled with malevolence, transforming into a shadow that loomed menacingly over her diminutive body as she squatted.
Was it coming from Ye Sihan? Why?
Tang Yu, who was picking up the belt, looked up into Ye Sihan’s dark pupils.
The phone call was still going, Ye Sihan’s face was expressionless, but the dead silence of the atmosphere gave Tang Yu a bone-chilling sensation that drilled into her body.
“What’s wrong? Don’t… don’t like it?” Tang Yu asked with nerves taut, her hand clutching the belt.
“If it’s from you, naturally I like it.” Ye Sihan’s voice was normal, “Did you buy it?”
Tang Yu couldn’t admit that the gift was from Lin Shuhuan; since she paid for it, it was as if she bought it, “Yes, I found out you liked this style of belt, so I bought it…”
After she finished speaking, Ye Sihan stared at her, his deep eyes like icy abysses, intimidating to behold.
After a moment, he casually ended the call as if nothing happened, tossing the phone onto the table.
He took the belt from Tang Yu’s hand and abruptly wound it around her neck, pulling her toward the chair—
“Ah!” Tang Yu fell into the chair, her head spinning, the belt tightening around her neck, causing her body to shiver and freeze, afraid to move. Her hands instinctively tugged at the belt, trying to loosen it, panic-stricken, “Uh! Ye Sihan, what are you…”
Ye Sihan leaned over her, “Given the gift, it should be put to good use.”
Tang Yu was puzzled, not understanding his words.
Put to good use? Is this how a belt is supposed to be used?
“Haven’t touched you since you came back, just right, let’s have some fun.” Ye Sihan’s black eyes were dark and dangerous, flashing with ruthless light.
“No, the belt is for you…” Before Tang Yu could finish her sentence, her clothing was violently torn off, shredded into rags thrown onto the floor, exposing most of her skin, “Ah! Ye Sihan…”
“Ready to beg for mercy? It’s just the beginning.”
Tang Yu’s neck was constricted, she couldn’t move an inch, and her body could only struggle slightly, or else her neck would feel even tighter.
“Mmm!”
Tang Yu had thought that Ye Sihan just wanted to try something different, but he went straight in, causing pain that made her forehead break out in a cold sweat.
“Ah!”
Ye Sihan grabbed her face, contorted in pain, and asked fiercely, “Does it feel good?”
Tang Yu looked at him in panic, “It hurts, don’t do this…” It was searing pain.
It was hard enough to bear, let alone this sudden, violent move, feeling like she was being torn apart!
“But I like it, bear with it.” Ye Sihan’s voice was hoarse, he used all his strength, seemingly determined to completely wreck the person on the chair—
“Ah… stop… don’t…” Tang Yu’s hands tried helplessly to grasp Ye Sihan’s arm, his clothing, hoping he’d be gentler.
But no, there was an unrelenting ferocity in his violence.
Tang Yu opened her mouth wide, trying to gasp for air.
She already had trouble breathing due to the belt around her neck, and now the oxygen seemed even scarcer.
Her entire small face turned bright red, excruciatingly painful.
Pain above and pain below.
Everything was so violent it felt as though, like the chair, Tang Yu could fall apart the next second.
“Ye Sihan stop…” At first Tang Yu felt pain, then numbness, and after that a bizarre and terrifying sensation came.
Ye Sihan sneered, “Really want me to stop? Hmm?”
