Jade began talking as Muku listened intently. Neither played around anymore...

"So, you still remember how everything began, right? During that time with the glowing green Monarch. It's what triggered my transformation and turned my Beast Aura and hair red... But that wasn't all that happened. It obviously made me stronger and more aggressive at times. The aggression drove me to leave the group for a while since it was hard to control back then and I thought it would be better to be away... Of course, there was another reason I left, which was gaining strength without worrying about the others. So it was hitting two birds with one stone..." Jade exposed a truth to Muku that she had never exposed to the others.

While they might have guessed some things back then, the worry they felt wouldn't have been as controlled if Jade had told them everything. And Emily wouldn't have been so willing to let Jade live alone due to the possible consequences.

Like if she suddenly lost control and attacked a beast she couldn't fight. Which would obviously lead to her death.

It was actually one of the reasons why they didn't agree to let Jade go off on her own when she suggested it when she began having her berserk episodes.

"Okay... But I doubt that's why you brought me here..." Muku commented.

"Tsk. Why did you have to know me so well? Can't you think of me as a dainty girl who makes mountains out of molehills for once?" Jade complained.

"Well, you do make mountains out of molehills though... Just not in this type of scenario" Muku replied.

"Sigh. What did I ever do to deserve such an unromantic man? Like, you specifically choose to say the stuff you know I don't want to hear... Anyway, let's continue before this takes a turn for the worse..." Jade complained but dismissed the matter as she didn't want to go off track.

As for whether it was over instead of paused... Time will tell.

Muku quietly agreed to continue. He didn't say anything, not wanting to risk saying something which would trigger the girl. He knew himself and Jade enough to know that it didn't take much for the two of them to start arguing...

"In case you didn't get it from when I implied it, you were right when you assumed that I didn't bring you here because of the things I've already said. I brought you here because of the visions I had... Or should I call them dreams? Let's say it's a combination of both since some happened when I was awake while others happened when I was asleep. Anyway, these dreamy visions, yeah, I'll call them that. Aren't I just so smart?... Cough. Almost got distracted there. Let me continue then. I saw a world which was bleeding from the sky. The earth was barren and ruined. An unknown number of beings stronger than anything I could possibly imagine were attacking the sky. They were being led by a figure bathed in white light I couldn't see clearly. Before I could make sense of that, it ended and another scene in which a red-haired lady with cat ears and black stripes all over her body... At least, the exposed parts all had stripes. Anyway, she was smiling at me while holding me in her arms. Honestly, she looked exactly like me, just an older version. It felt quite creepy to look at her because it was like I was looking at the future version of myself. Anyway, that was cut too. Then another time I had a vision in which a large golden ape ambushed the lady who looked like me and injured her severely. The ape seemed familiar for some reason. But that didn't last long either. Another time I had a dream in which the same ape attacked what looked to be a village full of red-haired and black striped people. It killed everyone but the lady who managed to escape with me in her arms... The running went on forever. Spanning a few dreams and visions. Then she finally reached her destination..." Jade paused to catch her breath.

"Her destination was a majestic-looking castle surrounded by greenery. It almost seemed unreal. Like it was out of a dream. Anyway, she met up with the white figure from before. I'm not sure what they spoke about since it wasn't too clear. However, I heard words like Monarch, Origin, Stolen, Can't be saved. Don't interfere. Daughter, Revenge... It was a mess honestly. Anyway, the lady handed "me" to the figure bathed in white light then fell and likely died. A wave of anger unlike any I've ever felt hit me when I saw that. I think it made me more violent than before. After that. The next vision didn't happen until after the Tactoa members exploded on me and covered me with the unknown Monarch's energy" Jade paused again to let everything she had said so far, sink in.

"The dream seemed to be a continuation of the last. As I found myself inside the castle in the white figure's arms... Speaking of which. I don't think the figure was really covered in white light. I think something is blocking me from "seeing" them... Which would be crazy and OP as hell. Anyway, inside the castle there were many faces. But one stood out to me. It was the face of a little boy... Not that there was anything wrong with him or anything. Just that the boy looked familiar... He looked like a three or four-year-old version of you... I know it sounds crazy but that's what I saw. Anyway, he stuck to the figure like glue since they entered the castle. And a black and silver egg round the size of a soccer ball never left his arms. The dream ended there. My violent urges got worse after that until the berserk episodes began. Then I had my last one which was another vision of a bleeding sky. The white figure and many other figures seemed panicked in their actions. I was then taken to a weird room which was purely white in colour. Beside me was the boy who was crying while holding the egg. The figure hugged us and left the room..." Jade paused and looked to her side to see if Muku was still paying attention.

She was met with the desire in his eyes to learn more. Which made a small smile appear on her face then she continued...

"I heard the words, world separation, mana exclusion, future, destiny and Blue Planet. Then a white light flashed... The next moment, the me who was probably still a child who could barely move found myself on a doorstep... The doorstep looked awfully familiar to my house before the apocalypse. Just that it looked a lot better in appearance, like time hasn't taken its toll on it yet. Anyway, my mother opened the door and picked me up in surprise. I saw a reflection of myself in her eyes. And it was a red-haired baby. Then something weird happened. My hair turned from red to green to match my mother's. She looked very surprised and a little scared. But she didn't drop me or leave me there. She took me inside and the vision ended before I could see the interior... So what do you think?" Jade finished her story by asking Muku a question.

"What do you think?" Muku asked her the question back instead of answering it.

"I think I am an alien baby from the past who found her way to my mom's doorstep... And you are probably the same. Now tell me what do you think?" Jade replied nonchalantly.

"Whoa! I might not remember the first few years of my life. But that's understandable since many people forget and it's normal. It could be because of a traumatic event. And I think you're overthinking things. Maybe the "visions" are just your bloodline playing tricks on you. Or maybe they did happen. But not to you and your mind just created fake images which support your assumptions after the visions you got from your bloodline. I mean, even the most average person can have fake memories. Or maybe, the first Monarch did something to you which the second Monarch reinforced and this is all just a sick joke to them..." Muku gave her multiple possibilities.

"Or it could be exactly as I said it and you're just in denial... You know what, I just remembered something. Do you remember the first time we met? Even though I had never seen you before, or ever heard of you. You felt familiar to me. And I was comfortable around you from the get-go... How do you explain that? In fact, what about you? What did you feel when you saw me for the first time?" Jade refused to listen to Muku's logic.

"Okay, I will admit that you did feel familiar back then. But I had seen photos of all my students before they appeared in front of you. So that might be the reason. And as for you, maybe you saw me on TV once since I was popular back then. And you just forgot but the feeling of familiarity remained" Muku argued again.

"You know, despite what you're saying. I can sense that you know in your heart that in this matter. What I said has a higher chance of being true than what you said. I mean come on... With all the weird things we've encountered and can do... Is it really so impossible?" Jade pressed on.

"...." Muku remained quiet not knowing what to say.

What Jade was saying made sense after all. And as they say, reality is sometimes more unbelievable than fantasy...
