Though he was sweating buckets inside, his mind was chaotic and his heart was about to jump out of his chest.

Muku swore that her eyes were glowing a bit in that moment. But it wasn't the mesmerising kind of glow, it was a creepy and dangerous glow. The kind of glow one would see in a vicious viper ready to attack at any moment if you made the wrong move.

Muku's eyes widened in surprise. He couldn't believe that the sweet Emily actually manipulated him into telling her everything... Since when was he so mentally weak?!.

No, it wasn't him. It was Emily. There was definitely more to the girl than he thought.

Jade had said many times that Emily wasn't as angelic as everyone thought, and he didn't believe it. The others probably didn't either.

Then without waiting for Muku to say anything, she got up and left the room.

Muku just looked at her do whatever she wanted with a blank mind.

It should have done significant damage if used properly right? Like attacking the part with that black orb...} Raya proceeded to ask something which was bothering her a bit.

{Umm, don't laugh after hearing this but... I haven't used it for two years because of the whole can't use it in the Beast World thing, so I kinda forgot that I even have it. I actually only remembered it right now after you mentioned it} Muku explained with some embarrassment in his mental voice.

{Ha! Hahahahahaha} Raya laughed so hard that Muku almost cut the conversation short on the spot.

{Tsk. Stop laughing. It's totally understandable to forget after such a long time. Plus if you're so smart, then why didn't you tell me about it huh? Wouldn't that have saved your power too?} Muku defended himself.

{Hahah... Oh. Actually, I remembered it while taking a swim in the new lake so...} Raya replied while also feeling a bit embarrassed.

"...." Jade remained quiet.

"I just asked how your first time was, that's all. Why do you look like I asked you why you betrayed me?" Emily continued...
