Chapter 108 - Finishing What I Started [4]
CHAPTER 108: 108 - FINISHING WHAT I STARTED [4]
"YOU BITCH...!"
Sean exclaimed while looking at Raven’s mocking smile.
Then he snapped his head toward Ervin with a death glare in his eyes.
"YOU FUCKING TRAITOR!!!"
He yelled so loud it looked like the veins in his neck were going to pop.
"..."
"..."
But Raven and Ervin just looked down at him like he was some kind of pathetic dog.
"Stupid. Ever since I found out that you guys killed my parents..."
"I was already your enemy, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to end your whole fucking family...!"
"...!"
Ervin stated to Sean, his voice rising as he tightly clenched his hands into fists.
Sean’s eyes widened at his words.
"H-how did you find out...?"
He stuttered, then looked at Raven.
And seeing Sean look at him, Raven shrugged his shoulders and shook his head.
"I didn’t tell him. I just gave him the perfect opportunity to get his revenge."
He casually said, smiling.
Then at that moment—
"I’m not as stupid as you and your parents, Sean."
Ervin muttered that.
"..."
Sean was speechless.
He looked at the people who came to his aid when Ervin punched him.
They were being wary of Raven and watching his movements carefully.
’Yeah, I have people on my side too, and Raven can’t move freely here because we’re in a cramped place...’
Sean thought as a forced smile crept up on his face.
"Do you two think I’ll fall helplessly?"
He asked, his voice slowly gaining energy and fake confidence.
"I’LL AT LEAST KILL ONE OF YOU!!!"
Sean exclaimed.
"EVERYONE, ATTACK!"
Then he commanded!
After that, Sean started gathering mana into his hands!
"Eh?"
Well... that was his plan.
He couldn’t feel the mana inside his body.
But he didn’t panic—he immediately thought of an alternative move!
"[BERSERKER!]"
Sean activated one of his skills!
"What...?"
Though, it didn’t activate either...
This was when Sean started to feel nervous. He immediately realized something was wrong.
He looked at his ’subordinates.’
"The fuck is happening?"
"I can’t feel my mana!"
"What’s going on?"
And he saw that they were all in the same situation as him.
"Did you like the iced coffees I made for you guys?"
It was then that Sean heard Raven’s sarcastic voice.
He looked at Raven.
"W-what d-did you do?"
Then he asked, his lips trembling.
"I drugged you guys. Isn’t it obvious, you fucking donkey?"
Raven responded with a frown.
Then he looked at Ervin.
"Cut their hands and feet."
Raven ordered him.
"...!"
"Wha—?!"
Sean and the others were shocked at his words.
"..."
Ervin remained motionless for a few seconds.
Swoosh~
Then he took out a normal sword from his spatial storage.
"Okay..."
He replied as he started walking toward Sean and the others.
"S-STOP!"
"DON’T COME NEAR ME!"
"Ervin! We’re best buds in the past, right?!"
Barry and the others exclaimed seeing him approach.
But they were all ignored by Ervin.
And when Ervin was already standing in front of them...
S L A S H—!
He made one swift cursive swing with his sword.
Thud— Thud— Thud—
And what followed were hands and feet falling to the floor!
"GRAAAAAH!!?"
"AAAAARGH!!"
"MY HANDS!"
"MY FEET!!!"
"FUCK YOU, ERVIN!!!"
Of course, because Sean and the others couldn’t use mana to fight back or even defend themselves—
They were helpless in front of Ervin.
"This is satisfying..."
Ervin mumbled while looking at Barry, Sean, and the others spasming on the ground.
"It sure is."
And Raven replied to him.
Tap. Tap. Tap—
Raven walked up beside Ervin.
Pat—
He lightly patted Ervin’s shoulder with his right hand.
"Good job."
Then he said.
Fwish—
At that moment, [Nyx] suddenly appeared in his left hand.
Psh— Psh— Psh— Psh— Psh—
And Raven fired many times consecutively.
Ten shots, to be precise.
And his bullets dug through the crotches of Sean, Barry, and their subordinates!
"AAAH—"
"[Silence]"
Sean and the others were about to shriek in pain again, but Raven stopped them easily with that spell.
Sean, Barry, and the others couldn’t move...
They couldn’t even make a noise now because of Raven’s magic.
They were bleeding continuously, and they couldn’t use mana.
At this rate... they were all going to die soon.
So they started to despair. Most of them started to cry and wail...
But no sound came out from their mouths.
Some began begging to Raven and Ervin...
But because of Silence cast on them, Raven and Ervin couldn’t understand them.
Though honestly, Raven and Ervin wouldn’t help them either way—even if they could.
"Anyway, let’s finish this quick."
Raven stated.
FWISH—!
Then he grabbed Sean and Barry by the hair.
"You bring the others."
Raven casually said to Ervin.
"Okay..."
Ervin responded.
Then they both turned to the door...
Shhhhh—
Shhhhh—
Raven started walking toward it while dragging Sean’s and Barry’s handless and footless bodies.
And with a smile...
"Let’s go enter [The Stygian Lair]."
He said that.
*****
(Raven’s POV)
Shhhhhhhh—
"Please... Don’t kill me..."
Sean begged me.
But I just ignored him.
I undid Silence on him—but not on the others.
The reason?
So I could hear his pathetic pleading.
After finding out that he couldn’t use his skills or mana, and after getting his hands and feet cut off...
Sean quickly lost his will to fight.
Not just him—but Barry and the others too.
"Are we there yet?"
Ervin asked. He was following me while dragging a rope with nine sluggish bodies tied to it.
They were all Sean’s subordinates.
"No."
I replied to him.
SWOOSH—
Anyway, I’m using Monarch’s Presence to the max.
And because of that, goblins are avoiding us and not attacking.
I already know the structure of The Stygian Lair, and Ervin and I can avoid pretty much all traps.
Sometimes we use Barry and the others as shields from arrows suddenly flying at us.
So with all that, the two of us started dragging some trash deeper in the dungeon with not much danger around us.
...
...
...
"We’re here."
I mumbled.
Just after an hour of constant walking with few disturbances, we reached our destination.
I made sure Sean and the others didn’t die from blood loss by using minor life potions on them.
’It’s such a waste, but I can’t let them die that easily.’
I thought.
"Where are we?"
Ervin asked me with a frown. He was looking at the room in front of us with a huge iron door.
I turned to him and smirked.
"We’re in the place where Sean and the others will die."
Then I replied to his question.
Ervin looked at me weirdly, but I ignored him and instead approached the door.
And with a push... I opened it.
CREEEEAK—
BOOM—!
Opening the door made a pretty loud noise.
"Hey, follow me."
I looked back and said to Ervin.
I didn’t wait for him to reply—I already entered the room.
But I sensed him trailing behind me.
Also, before opening the door, I made sure I turned off Monarch’s Presence.
So with my overwhelming presence gone and the loud noise of the door opening earlier...
-KIEEEK!
-KRRRRRIIIIEK!!!
-KIEEEEEEIEK!!
A horde of angry and violent goblins greeted us not long after entering!
"There’s so many of them..."
Ervin, who was behind me, mumbled.
There were roughly 70 goblins in the room!
And they were all glaring at us while being wary.
Right. I’m back to the room that I entered weeks ago before confronting the boss of this dungeon.
The goblins’ base.
"This is good..."
I mumbled.
Then—
Swoosh—
BAM—!
I threw Barry and Sean in front of the goblins at the same time.
SWOOSH—
BOOM—!
And without me even telling him, Ervin threw the others near Sean and Barry.
"Now what...?"
Ervin asked me.
The others and Barry were looking at us with dreadful faces.
They were trying to scream, but they couldn’t...
"Please! Don’t do this to me!"
"I’ll change!"
"I’ll turn myself in to the federation!"
"PLEASE!!!"
Meanwhile, Sean was shouting bullshit and crying like a bitch.
"Yeah, like you can change."
Swoosh—
I replied to Sean’s words, then took something out from my spatial storage.
It was a red liquid in a pretty huge vial.
"What’s that?"
Ervin curiously asked me.
And with a smile on my face, I opened my mouth.
"It’s a drug I stole from Sean’s room."
I said.
"Apparently, he used it on all of his r*pe victims..."
Then I added.
I could see Ervin’s face crumbling after I said that.
But I didn’t stop talking.
"It’s a drug that can make someone hypersexual."
I explained.
Then I faced Ervin, who was glaring at Sean.
"But you see, I’m curious about something..."
I muttered.
"Huh? What is it?"
I opened the vial before answering—
And threw it toward the horde of goblins, who were slowly approaching Sean and the others!
"I wonder... does it work on monsters too?"
I asked with a mischievous and curious smile on my face.
I saw Sean’s eyes widening as he looked at the vial up in the air.
SPLASH—
