RE: The Extra's Dominance
Chapter 53 - Small Revenge [1]
CHAPTER 53: 53 - SMALL REVENGE [1]
June 18, 2080, Thursday.
It’s been 3 days since Raven started his intense training. He now even started doing training after classes too.
He also trains alone in his dorm.
And even while in class... Raven is repeatedly lifting both of his legs up and down every second without fail.
His sturdy and awakened body can take the sudden increase in his training, but his mental health couldn’t.
Thus, he’s been exhausted mentally and physically for the past 3 days.
It came to the point that Raven doesn’t care anymore if he’s disturbing anyone with the noises he’s making in the middle of the classes because of his training.
Though his classmates think that he’s just being weird, no one pointed it out, he looks normal for them—he still always looks annoyed as soon as he enters the classroom.
And because of the incident with Harvey, the whole [CLASS A-1] became wary of his mood too.
Even Yuki is slightly scared of Raven. If she didn’t know him fully, she would definitely not come near him.
Anyway, Raven now also occasionally leaves Yuki with Levina in his dorm to focus on training.
The two of them still gets along really well, so they’re both cool with it.

In the Lunar’s Private Library, after classes...
Eve, Adelle, Aoi, Alec, and Blake are all together—studying.
Raven is still on his training, but he will join them in the next few minutes. This always happen.
On the other hand... Curtis is outside the academy, buying a nonexistent product.
Eve asked him to buy her something from outside the academy, but what she told him is not a real thing, it doesn’t exist... And Curtis doesn’t know that.
Curtis was constantly annoying Eve with his cringe flirting earlier the whole time—so Eve did decided to do this.
3 hours had already passed since then, and Curtis hadn’t come back yet.
Though Alec and Aoi found what Eve did cruel, they didn’t tell Curtis the truth because they were cringing at his flirting earlier too and can’t focus on studying.
Adelle finds the situation funny and had a bet with Blake on how long it will take Curtis to realize that he’s trying to buy something that doesn’t exist.
Though Blake didn’t particularly care, as Curtis uses him as a punching bag when they’re doing group sparrings.
(He held quite a grudge against Curtis, thus Blake just let him wander like a stupid idiot outside the Lunar Academy.)
Anyway, Blake bet that Curtis will not return today and will just apologize to Eve tomorrow morning because he couldn’t find what she was asking for.
Eve, Alec, Aoi, and even Adelle find his prediction to be funny and they took it as a joke.
Then moving on...
"What do you guys think about Raven’s actions these past three days?"
Adelle asked that to the group out of boredom.
"I don’t know, maybe he’s just really stressed?"
Alec awkwardly answered, scratching his right cheek.
"I’m not really thinking much about it, he’s normally weird anyway. I can’t tell what’s in his head."
Blake casually followed, fully averting his attention from studying to gossiping with Adelle.
(Blake will regret not studying later at night, but he will still sleep peacefully anyway and say, "It’s now up to future me."... Then, when he remembers it the next day, he will curse at his past self.)
"I don’t know that much about Raven, so I don’t really know."
Aoi added.
"I don’t know what he’s doing, but he is annoying me—sometimes more than Curtis."
Then Eve stated, squinting her eyes a bit as she stopped reading.
Adelle and Alec laughed awkwardly... While Blake and Aoi were worried about Raven’s safety.
Anyway, Eve is annoyed at Raven because along side her—they are all sitting near him in the classroom, so every time he lifts and un-lifts his legs...
They hear a small, annoying noise, causing the group to be unable to fully focus on the lessons the professors are teaching.
And in addition, they have very strong hearing, as their senses became stronger when they awakened.
The professors can’t do anything about Raven, as he’s smart. And there’s no rule that says what he’s doing is not allowed.
When Eve couldn’t bear it anymore, she ’politely’ asked Raven to stop yesterday.
And Raven’s answer was:
"I want to stop too, but I can’t at the moment, so bear with it for the time being. I’ll eventually stop anyway."
He even sounded annoyed at that time, making Eve more angry.
And now that she remembered it again... Eve clenched her fist and swore to one day get her revenge on Raven.
"He even does that weird leg lifting while studying with us in the library, making me unable to focus on what I’m reading too."
She mumbled as she thought of Raven joining them soon and breaking her concentration.
"You’re weirdly conscious of him, that might be a sign, HAHAH..aha..ha... Sorry."
Adelle said and started laughing, but she stopped when she saw Eve sending her a death glare.
"Bad move, Adelle."
Aoi whispered to her while shaking her head.
"I just want to make the mood lighter."
Adelle replied with a gloomy voice.
"Then why don’t you just tell Eve what Raven hates?"
Blake unconsciously muttered while looking at Adelle with eyes like saying, ’You’re so stupid.’
Then he shrugged his shoulders.
"What does he mean?"
What Blake said caught Eve’s attention, so now she’s asking Adelle with bright eyes.
She got swept up by Eve’s sudden change of mood—it’s rare to happen—so she answered immediately with a smile.
"I don’t really know that much, but Raven once said that he doesn’t like the idea of eating someone else’s cooking."
But as soon as she blurted those out, Blake and Adelle realized what they just did.
"Ah..."
"...!"
"Hmm, interesting."
Eve whispered to herself with a smile.
She rarely smiles, and she actually looks more beautiful with it.
But even though that’s the case—Alec, Aoi, Adelle, and Blake are not happy seeing her creepily smiling.
"Heh..."
Eve started to study again, but now while smiling and giggling from time to time.
’I’m gonna cook something very salty for Raven tomorrow at lunch. I’m gonna forcefully pull him to the cafeteria and have him eat it there.’
Eve is not dumb, so she knows she’s popular, and she also always hears about it from the others.
So by giving Raven her homemade food in front of many people, she can get her so-called ’revenge’.
After giving him her cooking, there will be two possible scenarios.
’One, Raven will decline and not eat the food, thus making the boys in the cafeteria angry at him, so he will be their target of bullying. Especially Curtis.’
(Though Eve knows that Raven can handle them, she just wants to annoy him, as she knows how he despises dealing with those kind of people.)
’Two, Raven will predict scenario one because of his great insight. Thus, he will accept the food unwillingly, but when he eats it... He will taste something so salty!’
’And even if Raven wants to stop eating, he wouldn’t. He needs to finish my food to avoid scenario one, but in the end, because he will eat something that I made, he will still be targeted by the jealousy of the boys anyway.’
Just the thought of her future mischievous plan is making Eve smile even deeper.
"Fufufu... Just you wait."
She excitedly muttered.
Adelle and Blake are already feeling regret for telling Eve what Raven hates. While Aoi and Alec are getting worried for him.
’Good luck, Raven. I can’t help you that much this time, but I’ll always be your friend.’
Alec thought, shaking his head before continuing to study.
And some time later...
"Ugh... I can finally sit down and rest."
Raven joined them. He’s clean and doesn’t look like someone who just finished training.
But even after they finished their group study session, nobody warned him about the misfortune coming at him.
It’s just that Raven felt chills when he saw Eve smiling at him happily.
Raven knows Eve is annoyed with him, so he knows something is wrong.
Though because of exhaustion, he didn’t think much about it.
...
...
...
Oh, and by the way—Curtis didn’t return.
