CHAPTER 27: IMPOSSIBLE ROUND

Noah was watching the portal with sharp eyes. It was huge now.

At least 80 monsters would come out from there every second.

So he would have to kill around 144000 monsters in 30 minutes, which would all be at level 40, meaning demon kings.

There might be some demon emperors too. It was a battle of life and death.

He looked at Trevor, "Be prepared to use the plasma guns."

Trevor didn’t use them till now. He was conserving them for the last battle because the plasma gun could fire for 15 minutes, then it would have to recharge for 2 hours. That’s why Noah asked him to wait.

This was the final round. They would use one gun for 15 minutes and another one for another 15 minutes.

If the guns couldn’t deal with them, then Noah would have to attack.

The 30 minutes rest period was up.

Demon kings started to come out, and there was a demon emperor among them. Each 80 member-batch had one demon emperor. It was leading the kings.

"Fire." Noah ordered.

The air was heavy with tension. If the plasma guns didn’t work, then Noah would have to deal with all those monsters alone.

They were praying. The pressure coming from those demon kings and the demon emperor was so heavy that they couldn’t even breathe.

"Please god, help us in this last phase."

This was the battle of their destiny.

The thick plasma beam was fired.

It hit the first group. There was thick smoke, but when the smoke settled down, the monsters were still alive and didn’t seem to be harmed much.

Trevor hit again. With 4 hits, he managed to kill 9 demon kings.

But they all attacked them at that time. Thousands of monsters started to run toward them.

Noah signaled Trevor to stop firing because they didn’t have time anymore. If he delayed even a single bit, those monsters would reach them.

Boom!

With a sonic boom, he rushed toward them.

But they were demon kings, and a demon emperor was with them. He wouldn’t have an easy time.

As expected, as soon as he arrived in front of a demon king to strike it down, something else appeared in front of him to block his attack. It was the demon emperor, a white ape.

Its speed was at least 300 km per second. It hit Noah with a punch, but Noah was wearing protective gear, so the punch didn’t harm him much. Still, he was sent flying.

Before he could land, the ape appeared below him and kicked him mid-air.

The misery didn’t end there. Already 1 minute passed and 60 batches appeared with 60 demon emperors in them. The demon emperors joined to beat Noah, whereas the demon kings were going toward the others, who were watching this one-sided battle. Noah wasn’t a match for them. They were beating him nonstop.

They had already accepted their fate. They would die today. There was no hope. Thousands of demon kings were coming toward them. Trevor hit some of them with the plasma gun, but couldn’t kill any.

Noah watched this scene. He had to do something.

He wanted to create a flash skill with an upgraded version, which would allow him to sustain that position for 1 minute instead of 10 seconds, and the cooldown would be 15 seconds.

[40000 mana points needed. Confirm?]

Noah had only 21000 mana points. He needed to break through. That would double all his attributes. He had no other option now.

"Advance."

Instantly he broke through to Level 21, which was the bronze realm.

His mana became 42000, and his other attributes also doubled.

"Confirm."

He created the upgraded flash version instantly.

Now his basic speed was around 140 km per second. With flash, it would be 1400 km per second.

"Die mother fuckers." Noah roared and instantly activated the new flash skill.

The world turned slow to him. Those demon kings almost stopped, and the demon emperors were a little faster than ants.

Boom!

With this absolute speed, Noah cut down all the monsters which came out from the portals, including those demon emperors.

But it also destroyed his body. This level of speed was unacceptable for his body. But he had that healing skill which kicked in right away.

He could feel his injuries healing.

For 60 seconds he killed at least 120 batches, then stopped.

But the monsters were still coming. Only 2 minutes had passed. He would have to do this for 28 more minutes.

Noah had billions of exp. So when he broke through to level 21, he instantly reached level 30 and stopped there.

From bronze to silver, the attributes increment was 5 times.

Noah had to break through again. Though he would lose precious attributes by doing this, he would have enough mana by then to create attribute cores, so the missing attributes could be achieved through time.

But he needed an instant solution.

"Break through!"

He roared.

He broke through to level 40 instantly and stopped. His mana points became over 200000 and his other attributes also increased 5 times.

Noah created 2 skills instantly,

"Regeneration of organ" and "Mana regeneration by percentage."

These cost him 100000 points. With the remaining 100000, he created a healing skill which would heal him fully in 10 seconds. It didn’t matter the wound. As long as he was alive, he would be healed in 10 seconds.

Now with flash, his speed reached 7000 km per second.

And within 10 seconds he would be healed instantly like new.

This all happened in a minute. Another 60 batches came out and were beating him nonstop. His armor was protecting him.

Even the demon kings attacked him. Their primary target was to kill Noah first.

Those earthlings became happy when they saw Noah kill 120 batches of monsters, but then he stopped suddenly.

They were almost cheering and crying.

But then Noah stopped, and those monsters started attacking him again.

Finally Noah opened his eyes.

He didn’t need flash anymore.

His basic speed was 700 km per second. These monsters were child’s play to him right now.

And everyone watched another massacre. But this time Noah didn’t stop.

He continued killing those monsters as soon as they came out.

He turned into Noah the Reaper.

For 27 minutes, Noah killed all those 145000 monsters.

He didn’t have to worry about his stamina either. The healing skill renewed his stamina every 10 seconds along with his other wounds.

That day the earthlings watched the battle of a god.
