Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 389: The Princess’s Manner
CHAPTER 389: CHAPTER 389: THE PRINCESS’S MANNER
The museum staff obviously didn’t care whose name was on the donation certificate. The matter was quickly settled, and the biggest beneficiary was naturally the museum.
Jim Perry personally escorted the museum staff out, and when he turned back, seeing the large letters of the Peace Corporation on the wall, his eyes stung sharply.
This down-to-earth company name now had the scent of dog food about it.
He finally realized why his boss chose such a name, turns out it was for the boss’s wife.
It seems that from the very start when the company was founded, it was the boss’s wife’s company. That one piece of paperwork was just legal proof.
Now he really couldn’t look at his company’s name directly. His boss was truly insane, had he not considered the mental health of the singles in the company?
Jim Perry could only complain silently in his heart. Soon the company’s matters made him forget those problems, when busy he remembered nothing else.
On the other side, Emerie went to the Wilson Clan to find Ophelia Wilson.
"Aunt, why are you here?" Ophelia asked curiously.
"I heard you went with James Reed to meet the Peace Corporation people yesterday, is that right?" Emerie asked directly.
"Yes." Ophelia nodded with a smile, she went in the capacity of James Reed’s fiancée, which solidified her position in the Seymour Family, "How did Aunt know?"
"Your grandmother mentioned it to me on the phone yesterday." Emerie said casually, clearly her mind wasn’t on that, "Emerie, is James planning to cooperate with Peace Corporation?"
"Yes." Ophelia blurted out without thinking, only realizing something might be amiss after she spoke, and hastily added, "Although it’s not fully certain yet, there’s at least an eighty percent chance that Peace Corporation will choose to cooperate with James."
Her James was so capable, as long as Jim Perry wasn’t blind, he’d surely choose them.
"Alright. Since it’s cooperation, bring your uncle along." Emerie’s matter-of-fact words stunned Ophelia, leaving her staring blankly.
She knew her aunt had been spoiled since childhood, living in her own world. Usually, to please her grandparents, she would go along with Emerie.
But she never expected that one day, Emerie’s princess-like attitude would be directed at her.
"Aunt, what are you saying?" Ophelia asked incredulously with a laugh, "This whole business cooperation, how could anyone just join as they wish?"
"Even if James agreed, Peace Corporation wouldn’t agree." Ophelia said in difficulty, "James can’t decide this matter."
"Why can’t he decide?" Emerie asked, perplexed, "Yesterday your grandmother said that in future cooperation with Peace Corporation, Wilson Corporation would also be involved. Since Wilson Corporation can participate, why can’t your uncle’s company?"
"Aunt, this really depends on Peace Corporation, it’s not up to us." Ophelia was truly exasperated by Emerie’s presumption.
"You can talk to Peace Corporation, since they’re going to cooperate with you, why wouldn’t they consider what you say?" Emerie was convinced of her own ideas, and no one could dissuade her.
"Aunt, it’s really not something that can be settled just by us talking..."
"Ophelia, how does your aunt treat you?" Emerie’s face darkened, interrupting Ophelia.
