Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 458: Because She Founded It
CHAPTER 458: CHAPTER 458: BECAUSE SHE FOUNDED IT
"Uncle, have you ever had a change of heart towards Aunt?" Charles Seymour understood Mason Wilson’s thoughts and wasn’t angry.
"Of course not." Mason Wilson was very certain about this.
"My feelings for Sophie won’t change either." Charles Seymour added another explanation, "Besides, I earn money for Sophie to spend. If she doesn’t spend it, what am I earning it for?"
Mason Wilson was stunned. He never expected Charles Seymour to say such a thing.
As if Charles Seymour felt Mason Wilson wasn’t shocked enough, he continued, "Uncle, you know, Sophie and I have known each other for a long time, but due to certain events, we were separated."
"Yes." Mason Wilson nodded. This he had heard from Sophie, that they had known each other long ago, but she had forgotten some things, which is why she didn’t remember Charles Seymour until they met again.
"So, during the time I was apart from Sophie, I founded the Peace Group." Charles Seymour’s words were like a thunderclap, leaving Mason Wilson stunned, his soul seemed to leave his body in shock.
So, were all his worries unnecessary?
Mason Wilson felt dizzy, and he couldn’t even remember how he finished lunch.
Regardless, the entire afternoon, Mason Wilson was in a state of frantic work because whenever he had a break, he felt completely out of sorts.
Who would have thought that the Peace Group, which even Seymour, Clark and White were eager to curry favor with, existed because of his daughter?
He felt he needed some time to recover...
Considering his current state wasn’t great and for safety reasons, Mason Wilson decisively decided to hitch a ride with Charles Seymour after work.
Charles Seymour naturally had no objections to Mason Wilson’s decision.
"The online matter, you wanted Emerie to apologize to Sophie, but the Wilson Clan and James Reed probably won’t see it that way." Mason Wilson, after a whole afternoon, had calmed down a bit.
"Yes." Charles Seymour nodded slightly, "They’re overthinking it."
Mason Wilson: "..."
No one would have thought that Charles Seymour would crazily spend money and mobilize connections just for an apology!
"They probably didn’t expect your intentions to be so simple." Mason Wilson dryly found a more pleasing term to use.
Otherwise, how could he put it?
If not say his intentions are simple, should he say Charles Seymour is crazy?
Not to mention others didn’t expect it, even as Sophie’s father, he wasn’t as crazy as Charles Seymour, right?
Charles Seymour didn’t think anything was wrong. He did things based on his own preferences, as for what others thought... could it be more important than making Sophie happy?
Who are those guys anyway?
"The later stage promoter, not all were my people." Charles Seymour said lightly, "James Reed found someone to help too."
"James Reed?" Mason Wilson was taken aback, but after a little thought, he understood.
"He’s calculating. He wants the support of the Wilson Clan and also good reputation." Mason Wilson shook his head with a helpless smile, "Ophelia’s heart is set on him... she’ll suffer in the future."
After speaking, Mason Wilson gave a wry smile, turned to Charles Seymour and said, "But that’s her own doing, can’t blame anyone else."
Charles Seymour nodded, "It’s normal for you to worry about Ophelia Wilson, Uncle. Over twenty years of father-daughter bond, if you cut it off completely without caring, I would think of you as too cold-blooded."
