The voice, like a madman, startled the neighbors, but they weren’t easy to mess with either. It wasn’t long before there was a knock on Joshua Wright’s door: "Open up!"

Nonetheless, someone still dared to block his path.

"Get out of my way!" His job was lost, his reputation ruined, and Joshua Wright was like a bomb about to explode, ready to go off on anyone who provoked him.

"Joshua Wright, do you want to take revenge?" This one sentence ignited a glimmer of hope in Joshua’s furious eyes.

It was mid-morning in the café, and there weren’t many people around. The corner was particularly quiet.

"Do you know who set you up?" Eva asked Joshua Wright.

"Lucy Wells, that bitch!" Joshua could only think it was Lucy Wells who might have done this.

"No," Eva stated firmly.

"I just gave her some trouble, and things immediately went wrong. Who else could it be?" Joshua glared at Eva, wondering if she was defending that bitch Lucy Wells.

"Think about it, does Lucy Wells have that kind of capability?" Eva guided him.

With Eva’s words, Joshua’s anger-fueled mind began to regain some clarity. He thought carefully and realized it was true.

With Lucy Wells’ background and temperament, she didn’t have the boldness or the capability for that.

"Then who is it?" Joshua directly asked, since this person came to talk with him, they must have something. Otherwise, what’s the point of talking?
