Shi Yumei glared fiercely at Sang Yufei with a choked feeling in her chest, while Shi Lian’s eyes lightly turned and met her husband’s gaze before quickly looking away, her heart nevertheless rippling with circles of joy. Upon entering the warm pavilion, Shi Fengju motioned the attendants to stop, not waiting for Sang Wan’s reaction, he swept her up in his arms.

"Holding you!" Shi Fengju smiled, "You’re tired, rest well, I’ll take care of you today, you don’t worry about a thing!" saying this, he walked towards the bed, set Sang Wan down, and then knelt to gently remove her shoes, helped her lie down, and said with a smile, "Lie down for a while, let’s talk!"

Sang Wan seeing his enthusiastic eagerness also didn’t have the heart to dampen his spirits, thus smiled and lay down as told, pulling a thin blanket up to her chest.

Just as she comfortably relaxed and was about to close her eyes, Shi Fengju pushed her playfully, "Hey, move a bit more inside, leave some space for me, I’ll lie down with you."

Sang Wan had to move over a bit, complaining, "You said to let me rest well, and here you are bothering endlessly."

"I’m accompanying you, how is that bothering?" Shi Fengju smiled, unabashedly pulled the blanket over himself as well, turned to face her, stretched an arm around her waist, and drew her close into his embrace, "Sleep at ease! She startled and sat up abruptly, exclaiming, "What time is it!"
