Wan Chu’er didn’t react immediately, wondering why she was being taken to meet people at General Shen’s grandson’s full-month celebration. Who would be there?

Seeing her puzzled expression, Jiang Xiaoxiao smiled and explained: "General Shen is Shen Qian’s father, her nephew’s full-month celebration, isn’t it obvious? My mom means to have you appear at their banquet to let Shen Family people and others know that you are my brother’s fiancée."

Wan Chu’er smiled bashfully and asked: "Auntie, when do we leave?"

Just then, Jiang Xiaoxiao came out and said with a smile, "Chuchu, you’ve come at just the right time, we were just about to leave."

A staff member from Jiang Family then drove the three of them to the event.

During the ride, Jiang Xiaoxiao whispered to Wan Chu’er: "My brother disappeared early in the morning, no idea where he went. He was supposed to accompany us."

At her words, Wan Chu’er subconsciously thought that maybe Jiang Kechu was still angry with her, hence not wanting to see her.
