CHAPTER 603: CHAPTER 601: AIRPORT INCIDENT

Chuchu lowered her head to look for something and loudly asked the person in front of her, "Did the Crown Prince send you to pick me up? Are they all in the VIP waiting room?"

Hearing her loud voice, the man’s face changed, and he leaned closer to Chuchu to whisper, "In such situations, please keep a low profile, Miss Wan."

Chuchu responded with an "Oh," hung up the phone, and smiled, "I forgot, my ticket isn’t with me."

The person in front of her could no longer smile, seemingly aware that Chuchu knew something. He stiffened and said, "The Chief wants to see you."

"Ah?" Chuchu widened her eyes and looked at him. He nodded affirmatively at her.

What does this mean? A father-son conflict? Does the Crown Prince know about this? Could it be that the trip won’t happen today?

Chuchu felt a bit anxious inside, but the person beside her just thought she was nervous about meeting the Chief and didn’t think much of it.

Suddenly, Chuchu felt a vibration from her bag; a message had arrived.

"Um... is my makeup smudged? Is my hair a bit messy?" Chuchu asked with a slight panic, "I need to touch up my makeup." Saying that, she lowered her head to rummage through her bag again. Fortunately, her bag was big and deep enough that one would have to be very close to see what she was doing inside.

Cautiously and quickly opening her phone, she glanced at the message content, then took out a lipstick and started applying it to her lips. Suddenly, the lipstick smeared onto her teeth.

Chuchu frowned and asked the man next to her, "Is it bad for me to meet the Chief like this?"

The man beside her looked somewhat troubled and thought for a moment before saying, "Why don’t you wipe it off with a tissue first?"

Chuchu quickly shook her head and said nervously, "No, I’ll go to the restroom and fix it. Wait for me, it won’t take long, a minute, no more than a minute." With that, she hurriedly ran to the nearest restroom.

"Hey—" The man wanted to call after Chuchu, shouted once, but felt it was inconvenient here and could only frown and wait by the restroom door for her to come out.

Women are so troublesome!

After entering the restroom, Chuchu calmly looked around and saw a janitor cleaning in the corner. Her eyebrows twitched slightly, and she moved towards that corner.

The man outside waited for a minute, carefully observing every woman entering and exiting, wondering if Chuchu really could come out in a minute; isn’t women’s makeup supposed to be quite complicated?

To be on the safe side, he took out his phone and made a report about the situation.

As he was on the phone, a slightly hunched janitor walked out slowly, carrying a mop in one hand and a black plastic bag in the other.

The man glanced over and continued watching the exit.

The janitor walked forward at a slow pace, turned a corner, and stopped momentarily at a door marked "No Entry for Non-Staff," then walked in.

Inside the room, Ming Wan sat gracefully, without a sign of anxiety. When she saw the janitor enter, she even nodded slightly.

Besides Ming Wan, there was another ordinary-looking man pacing anxiously. When he saw the janitor, his eyebrows involuntarily furrowed, and he coldly and arrogantly said, "There’s no need for cleaning here."

Chuchu took off her mask and the wig on her head, straightened up, and placed the mop against the wall.

Ming Wan slightly widened her eyes, looked at her curiously, and smiled, "I didn’t even recognize you just now."

The man in the room was both surprised and delighted, "Great, no one noticed you, right?"

Chuchu shook her head and asked, "What’s going on? Where’s the Crown Prince?"

"My brother went to negotiate with my dad, who came to stop us," Ming Wan said, then as if remembering something, smiled at Chuchu and asked, "Are you scared?"

Chuchu laughed, "I’m just following the lead of you siblings; nothing can touch me."

Ming Wan laughed, "You’re right about that."

At this moment, the man finally said, "Some unexpected situations occurred. Here are two sets of men’s suits; change into them quickly. In twenty minutes, a cart will pick you up at the door to take you to the boarding gate."

Chuchu was stunned and asked, "What about the items the Crown Prince promised me?"

"They’re all here, in this bag," the man said, pointing to a small black bag on the ground. Chuchu walked over, opened it to check, and only stood up after confirming everything.

"Wanwan, you change into the clothes first, and then I’ll fix your makeup," Chuchu said.

"Okay," Ming Wan said, taking the clothes and entering a small room inside.

With limited time, Chuchu didn’t wait for Ming Wan to come out. She directly said, "Close your eyes and turn around."

The man hesitated for a moment, then immediately complied, turning to face the wall with tightly shut eyes. Immediately, he heard the sound of clothes rustling and thought to himself that this woman was truly bold.

Two minutes later, Chuchu said, "Done," and took a small bag from her own bag, opening it to reveal various makeup tools and paints.

She set up a small mirror and started applying cosmetics to her face. In just five minutes, she finished, then placed a wig on her head, transforming into an ordinary, tall, thin man.

"How come you carry so many disguise items with you, even several wigs?"

Chuchu responded nonchalantly, "For fun."

Just then, Ming Wan emerged in a suit. She hesitated a bit upon seeing Chuchu until Chuchu reached out to pull her into a seat, warmly exclaiming, "You’re amazing, no wonder you could fool my dad’s security."

Chuchu laughed, "Time is tight, so I’ll just turn you into someone with dark skin."

"Sure, do whatever you think is best," Ming Wan said, trusting her implicitly.

Ten minutes later, under Chuchu’s makeup skills, Ming Wan had transformed into a fledgling young man just entering the workforce, the kind that comes from a rural background.

"Alright, quickly tidy up; the vehicle will be at the door soon."

Chuchu swiftly packed her things, checked the small black bag on the ground once more, put a blue flower into her own bag, and verified her ticket, passport, and credit cards.

"Let’s go."

Chuchu smiled at Ming Wan, "No need to be nervous."

The two walked out one after the other, and as expected, there was a cart waiting at the door ready to transport passengers. They took their luggage and sat on it, and the vehicle silently moved forward.

After they left, the man in the room immediately made a phone call to report the situation.

What followed was exciting but not dangerous. Chuchu and Ming Wan boarded through a special passage without anyone checking their documents and tickets.

When the plane took off, Chuchu became somewhat uneasy and asked Ming Wan beside her, "Will we be okay? Won’t your dad’s people be waiting for us when the plane lands? And did those who were secretly protecting us board the plane?"
