CHAPTER 259: CHAPTER 259: DO I LOOK GOOD? (THIRD UPDATE)

At noon, Qin Anyu, to prove that she hadn’t starved Tang Yue, intentionally ordered six lavish dishes at the restaurant next door.

Four people, five dishes and one soup, the portions were still very generous.

After eating and drinking their fill, Qin Anyu patted her swollen belly and couldn’t help saying, "I’m so full, Yueyue, from now on, we should eat here every day."

"Sister An Yu, this place isn’t cheap, eating here every day would be wasteful, and, homemade dishes taste better," Tang Yue replied. Partly because she was concerned about the money, and partly because she genuinely thought homemade dishes tasted better.

Having been out for half a month, she really missed the dishes cooked by her father, Tang Zhengde, which were the tastiest she had ever had, seeming like she could never get enough of them.

"That’s true." Qin Anyu nodded and giggled, "Then we’ll just come here occasionally to treat ourselves."

"Little Yu, how long has it been since you last went home?" Qin Anhao raised an eyebrow to ask.

Qin Anyu counted with her fingers and said in shock, "I actually haven’t been home for eleven days."

"Grandpa really misses you." Qin Anhao pursed his lips and said, "You should go back today."

"No, Yueyue..." Qin Anyu looked at Tang Yue, worried whether she would feel scared living alone in the huge studio.

"Xiao Yue should go back to the racing team." Mo Siyu said lightly.

Tang Yue gave him a look as if asking with her eyes when had she said she would return to the racing team?

"Oh." Qin Anyu belatedly realized their infrequent days off were a good opportunity to give a break to both Yueyue and herself.

She would go home to see her grandpa, and Yueyue could spend time with... her significant other.

"Yueyue, it’s fine. We’ve made plenty of clothes, we won’t miss a day or two," Qin Anyu comforted her, "You can go back without worries, see you tomorrow in our shop."

No sooner had Qin Anyu finished speaking than Qin Anhao pulled her away, the door of the private room closed with a ’clang’, faintly hearing Qin Anyu fussing for Qin Anhao to slow down.

"Mo Siyu, I..." Tang Yue turned towards him, about to ask something, when she suddenly was pulled into his embrace.

"Ouch."

Caught off guard, Tang Yue bumped into his chest.

"I’ve missed you," Mo Siyu’s deep and melodic voice sounded near her ear, his usual cold voice now filled with a tender affection as he looked at her, asking, "I’ve thought about you every day, haven’t you missed me?"

With her face flushing, Tang Yue blinked her almond-shaped eyes, meeting his hopeful gaze. She couldn’t lie, so she nodded, "I’ve been busy during the day, no time to think, but I would think about you when lying in bed at night."

Tang Yue realized her words could have a double meaning as soon as she finished speaking.

She wanted to correct herself instantly, but was afraid it would only make things worse.

"Thinking of me while lying in bed, hmm?" Mo Siyu’s handsome face was up close, his last ’hmm’ rising in tone, suggesting enticement, he leaned closer, shortening the distance between them.

"I mean... my point is..." Tang Yue’s eyes darted around, wanting to explain, but finding no way to do so, she hurriedly said, "Don’t get the wrong idea, I didn’t mean it in the way you’re thinking."

Mo Siyu, with a genial smile that softened his usually stern features, asked, "I didn’t get the wrong idea, how would you know which idea I was thinking?"

"I..." Tang Yue glared at him in annoyance, puffing up her cheeks, pouting her bright red lips.

In front of Mo Siyu, her expression didn’t seem angry but rather like she was pouting playfully; her lips puckered up, looking adorable, like ripe little cherries tempting one to take a bite.

Mo Siyu’s ability to act is impressive, and so are his thoughts.

Kissing is addictive.

With Xiao Yue’s first kiss gone, when Mo Siyu saw her again, it was no longer just about holding hands or hugging.

Every time, he wouldn’t stop until he had kissed Xiao Yue so much that she couldn’t even tell directions and just limply curled up in his arms.

If it weren’t for Xiao Yue’s young age, Mo Siyu would have devoured her completely.

On the way back, Xiao Yue instinctively became cautious as soon as she saw Mo Siyu park the car.

"Xiao Yue, there’s a field of rapeseed blooms up ahead. They should be in full bloom right now. Don’t you want to take a look?" Mo Siyu asked, pointing to a bamboo grove not far ahead, through which the yellow glow of the rapeseed flowers could be faintly seen.

"No." Xiao Yue thought for a moment and still refused.

Mo Siyu helplessly said, "I really just want to show you the rapeseed flowers. I’ve heard from others they are very beautiful. Are you really not going?"

Xiao Yue’s apricot eyes scrutinized Mo Siyu, wondering whether his words could be trusted.

Who was it that promised not to touch her? Yet who still sneakily kissed her after getting in the car?

"Xiao Yue, if you don’t want to go, we might as well rest here," Mo Siyu pretended to move closer.

Xiao Yue hurriedly said, "I’ll go."

Mo Siyu watched her with a look of grievance.

Xiao Yue intentionally ignored him; she was only eighteen after all, an adult, yes, but she didn’t want to be devoured by someone so soon.

Following Mo Siyu’s lead, they indeed saw that field of yellow rapeseed flowers.

The flower field wasn’t huge, about half the size of a soccer field. The yellow rapeseed flowers, swaying with the breeze under the azure sky, created a stunning scene.

"So beautiful." Xiao Yue was instantly captivated by the beauty of the rapeseed flowers. Though not vast, the sight was pleasing to the eye in the blazing summer day.

Like a child, Xiao Yue ran into the field, looking here and there, her laughter, like silver bells, hadn’t stopped since they arrived.

Mo Siyu stood aside, wishing he could capture this moment with a camera.

Moved by impulse, he picked a resilient straw, tied it into a circle, and then added some rapeseed flowers to it, creating a yellow floral wreath which he took to Xiao Yue.

Xiao Yue also noticed Mo Siyu approaching. Seeing the floral wreath in his hand, her eyes sparkled as she ran towards him.

"Be careful and slow down," Mo Siyu cautioned her.

"Put it on me fast," Xiao Yue, squatting down a little and tilting her head up, urged him with a sweet smile, full of anticipation.

Mo Siyu lifted her ponytail, gently placed the floral wreath on her head, her radiant smile while wearing the wreath likened her to a Flower Fairy, irresistible and delightful.

"Does it look good?"

Xiao Yue tilted her face up, a sweet smile on her cheeks, under the sunlight, with the wind blowing and the vast field of rapeseed flowers behind her, her sparkling eyes looking at him. She was as beautiful as a painting.

Mo Siyu’s affection deepened in his gaze, saying, "It looks beautiful." Their eyes met, Mo Siyu’s gaze intense as he looked at her, a surge of emotions swelling in his chest, and his lips curving unconsciously upwards.
