Since birth, they were like blank slates, feeling nothing—no pain, no laughter, no tears, no sweetness, no bitterness, much like robots.

On this day, the apocalypse arrived. The laboratory was sealed off, and the scientists couldn’t escape, turning into zombies that roamed the lab. The glass containers were initially impervious, but after relentless gnawing and pounding, they began to crack. At this critical moment, Ye Sen and other powered individuals arrived at the lab, killing all the zombies.

Code 001 was rescued. With emotionless eyes, she looked at Ye Sen, only his reflection in her large, clear eyes, as if he was her entire world. Ye Sen glanced at the number on her chest, and in a gentle voice, said, "From now on, your name is Laura."

Code 001 raised her head and struggled to articulate, "Lau...ra..."

"Cut!"
