Chapter 303: Nighttime Disturbance
CHAPTER 303: CHAPTER 303: NIGHTTIME DISTURBANCE
After leaving the hotel, Jiang Xue saw that it was still early and it was almost time for school to let out. So, she took a car to the city center to hand out flyers for her writing class.
When she arrived, it was just the end of the school day, and there were quite a few parents at the school gate. Jiang Xue handed the flyers to them.
The flyers had Jiang Xue’s handwriting on them, along with a brief introduction about herself, fees, and course arrangements.
Some parents who were quite interested received the flyers and immediately gathered around Jiang Xue to ask questions. After all, who wouldn’t want their child to have good handwriting?
Furthermore, hearing that Jiang Xue was already a member of the Calligraphy Association and that her works had been exhibited made them even more interested.
Of course, the parents’ inquiries weren’t just about writing but also about tutoring classes. Many parents felt their children were not doing well in their studies and hoped Jiang Xue could organize a tutoring class or something.
After all, parents are busy with work and don’t have much time to help their kids with homework.
Jiang Xue also thought the parents’ suggestion was good. However, if she were to run a class, she would need to hire people.
On her own, she could manage just teaching writing. But starting a tutoring class would be too much.
Jiang Xue humbly accepted the parents’ suggestions, stating she would consider the matter carefully.
After a busy session, when the parents left with their children, it was already after six. As it was getting late, Jiang Xue hurried to catch the bus.
Fortunately, since she ran, she managed to catch the last one. Sitting on the bus, Jiang Xue thought she should buy a means of transport.
A car was definitely out since she couldn’t drive. As for an electric bike, it seemed unavailable. After some thought, Jiang Xue decided to buy a bicycle.
She roughly calculated that biking from home to the city center would take about an hour and a half. Three hours for a round trip would be good exercise.
When Jiang Xue got home, Father Jiang and Mrs. Jiang hadn’t had dinner yet. Seeing her return, they finally relaxed and asked, "Xue’er, why did you come back so late?"
"Yeah, Xue’er, we thought something happened to you."
"Dad, Mom, I’m sorry for making you worry." Jiang Xue apologized, realizing that not having a phone at home was inconvenient.
Just like now, when she was out for a long time, they were worried. It seemed she needed not only a bicycle but also to ask about getting a phone installed.
"No worries, just be careful out there on your own."
"Got it."
Jiang Xue nodded and then glanced at the dishes on the table, estimating they were cold, and said, "I’ll heat up the food. In the future, if I come home late, you don’t have to wait for me, just save me some food."
"It’s fine, we’re not really hungry anyway." Father Jiang waved his hand and then told Mrs. Jiang, "Go check if Little Reunion is awake, if so, bring him out to eat with us."
"Alright!" Mrs. Jiang went to look after Little Reunion, and Jiang Xue headed to the kitchen.
In no time, she had the food warmed up. Little Reunion was still asleep, so Mrs. Jiang didn’t bring him out.
After dinner, Jiang Xue took Little Reunion back to her home. Once they were home, Little Reunion woke up, and Jiang Xue played with him for a while before taking him for a bath.
After the bath, Jiang Xue and the child entered the space together.
In the space, she did some cultivation for a while. Just as she was about to rest, Little Fox suddenly alerted her, "Woman, there’s a noise outside."
