"Dad, Mom, let’s eat!" Jiang Xue sat down and picked some dishes for her parents, placing them in their bowls.

Jiang Xue was so wicked to have hit Cheng Li’s face like that; it was too much. For a woman, if her face is ruined, her whole life might as well be ruined too.

Mrs. Cheng arrived at the Mu Family home, where Bai Yuhua and Mu Siwu happened to be out, returning the tables and chairs used for the banquet. In the courtyard, only Jiang Xue was there, cleaning.

As soon as Mrs. Cheng entered the courtyard, she walked up to Jiang Xue, grabbed her forcefully, and demanded, "Jiang Xue, tell me, are you the one who hit my Xiao Li’s face?"

Jiang Xue looked at Mrs. Cheng, her gaze turned cold. Mrs. Cheng and Cheng Li had completely different personalities; she was short-tempered and fierce, only being gentle to Cheng Li, and was ruthless to everyone else.

All along, Jiang Xue had been a bit afraid of her. Every time she spoke, she dared not raise her voice.
