CHAPTER 376: CHAPTER 376: TERMINATION OF CONTRACT

Quinn Lockwood wore a stern expression, completely uninterested in dealing with him.

If she remembered correctly, this person in charge hadn’t treated her like this before; today he was all nods and bows, really...

Tsk tsk tsk, truly pathetic.

"You’ve received the contract, right? Have you signed it?" Cameron Grant, knowing Quinn didn’t like Evan Caldwell, asked on her behalf.

Upon hearing this, Evan’s smile instantly froze on his face and quickly withered away, his tone becoming more submissive, almost pleading.

"I did receive it, but..."

"Savannah, I’ve already fired Anna for you. The company has arranged a new agent for you, Samson Lynch. You’ve probably heard of his reputation; he has successfully launched many international leading actresses."

"Whatever conditions you have, the company will meet them. I’ve even kept a few lead roles for you in big productions from major directors."

Evan was all smiles, almost kneeling before Quinn, as he took out a pile of scripts from his desk drawer and handed them over with a bent posture.

Quinn didn’t even reach out to take them, and Evan just kept holding the scripts, cautiously observing the three people in front of him.

His arms were suspended in mid-air for several minutes, and they began to ache slightly.

The three people in front of him remained silent, staring at him coldly, and Evan felt like he was suffocating; he had never felt such overpowering pressure before.

Until he couldn’t hold on any longer, Quinn slowly spoke, "I’m not going to look at them. You can give those roles to someone else."

"Sign the termination contract now; I’m taking it with me right away." Quinn, with a cold expression, was unmoved by these offers.

She had no interest in the benefits Evan mentioned; compared to their actions over the years, these conditions were nowhere near enough to compensate.

Moreover, she needed to seek revenge, and being bound by some company conditions would indeed hinder her actions.

Evan wanted to persuade Quinn further, but seeing Elias Sinclair and Cameron Grant’s stern and aloof expressions, he didn’t dare say more.

"Alright then, Savannah. Let’s sign the contract first, and you can think it over later. You’re welcome to return to the company anytime you wish." Evan had no choice but to agree to sign the contract.

As for future matters, he would find a way to persuade her somehow.

As the saying goes, persistence pays off. As long as he put in the effort, he believed he could one day bring Quinn back.

"Hmm, let’s go." Elias took the contract, quickly glanced through its content, and gently said to Quinn.

"Take care, Savannah. Feel free to come by the company if you need anything. I’ll keep good resources for you." Evan hurried to the door to open it for them as he saw the three were leaving, afraid of offending these influential figures.

Quinn waved her hand, indicating she understood, without looking back at Evan.

Now that the contract was signed, she was free.

The thought that she could act according to her own ideas and plans in the future made Quinn feel a wave of relief.

She stretched lazily, a light, carefree smile on her face. But when she reached the corridor corner, her smile suddenly vanished.

Anna came over holding some binders, looking somewhat exhausted, her complexion dull and lacking the usual glamorous appearance.

"Savannah Lowell, you bitch!" As soon as Anna saw Quinn, her eyes blazed with anger, striding over in her high heels.

She was in dire straits now, wasn’t she? Because of the influence of the Lowell and Sinclair families, no agency would take her in.

In recent days, she had been to dozens of agencies, only to face rejection at every turn.

Anna had gotten used to spending extravagantly over the past two years with Savannah; her house was nearly overflowing with luxury goods, and she had almost no savings left. If she couldn’t find work soon, she’d have nothing left to fall back on.

Quinn didn’t expect Anna to be so furious; she was slightly taken aback, her expression turning serious.

What was this about, cursing her right off the bat?

"You dare to show up in front of me, as if having some money makes you stand tall, all thanks to your family and brother."

"You’re just a scheming slut, and yet so many people are willing to help you."

Anna, enraged, her voice sharp and piercing, practically screamed at Quinn like an angry lioness.

Quinn, arms crossed coldly, looked up, squinting slightly as she scrutinized Anna, with a coldness in her gaze.

She was curious just how far Anna’s madness would go.

"Mr. Sinclair, I just don’t understand why someone like you would be interested in a woman like Savannah Lowell."

"She was notorious in the industry for being flirty. Any famous male star or capable director, she was ready to seduce."

Anna pointed at Quinn, her delicate eyebrows scrunched into a tight line, her face twisted in anger.

She had nothing left to lose, so she didn’t care how Elias treated her anymore. She just wanted to drag Quinn down with her.

Anna believed that Elias would not tolerate a dirty and lowly woman by his side.

No matter what she said to defame Quinn, someone would believe it given Quinn’s already tarnished reputation.

Elias’s handsome face darkened as if ink could drip from it. His deep eyes, like a beast’s, eyed Anna with an ominous menace.

The man’s aura suddenly dropped, making Quinn standing next to him shiver. He narrowed his eyes dangerously, about to explode, but Quinn’s cool little hand held him back.

She stepped in front of Elias, stopping him behind her, chin raised, looking down at Anna with a mocking smile.

"What, dropping the act now?"

"Can’t survive without my money, is that it?"

"You’re ungrateful, after making so much money and profit off me, you have the nerve to insult me now." Quinn paced slowly with arms folded, scrutinizing Anna methodically.

She knew Anna had taken quite a lot of her earnings; suddenly finding the money stream cut off, Anna surely couldn’t handle such a drastic change.

Quinn hadn’t said anything before, not because she wasn’t aware or was easy to bully, but because she didn’t want to seem petty over such trivial things.

"You..." Anna was a bit flustered by Quinn’s words; after all, she had indeed been living off of Quinn’s money and had secretly taken quite a bit on the side.
