Rebirth: Solely Cherished by the Devoted Commander
Chapter 46: Losing Face
CHAPTER 46: CHAPTER 46: LOSING FACE
"Liu Qingshuang, you’re not human, boo hoo..." Sun Chan’s words were cut off as the man covered her mouth. Her heart was pounding wildly, filled with rage, this was truly shameless! Even more shameless than Zhao Xiuxia!
Liu Qingshuang proudly held her shoulders down: "Don’t blame me! Who asked you to fight with me for the job. I told you to leave, but you wouldn’t. Don’t worry, my cousin won’t really do anything to you! Just taking some pictures, if you agree to resign, we’ll let you go! We’ll return the photos too; if you don’t agree, I’ll have to make you lose face publicly!"
As she spoke, she shook the camera in her hand. She was determined to do whatever it took to get the job for her sister-in-law!
Sun Chan glared at her with eyes full of hatred.
Seeing Sun Chan like this, Liu Qingshuang understood she wouldn’t give in: "Then there’s no choice, you’ll only have yourself to blame for your disgrace! You should’ve given the job to me!"
Sun Chan said nothing, her hands began to feel around her surroundings and came upon a stone. The man was already breathing heavily.
"Cousin, what are you doing!" Liu Qingshuang suddenly saw her cousin, his cheeks flushed, wanting to kiss Sun Chan, and she was instantly terrified.
"Go stand guard outside! I can’t help you for nothing, can I? I deserve some reward, right?" Her cousin hurriedly unbuttoned his shirt; the girl was quite pretty. He thought he might as well make her his wife, since his family was poor and couldn’t afford one, and even if she resisted now, he’d eventually win her over. Then he could beat and scold her as he pleased, and dare her to resist?
"Let go of me!" Sun Chan cried, not in fear but in rage, it was simply too vile, too shameless.
"You forced my hand!" Liu Qingshuang thought for a moment and walked quickly outside. It might as well end here. After all, she wouldn’t forgive herself.
In the future, if she married her cousin, she’d just give Sun Chan some extra wedding money!
Sun Chan consciously gave up resisting, relaxing the man’s attention.
He was dreaming of marrying her when suddenly there was a heavy blow to the back of his head. Sun Chan’s hand was still holding a stone, but she hadn’t struck him, so what was going on? She was puzzled when he collapsed heavily on her. Sun Chan grunted and then saw Han Dong.
He was holding a much larger stone, speaking softly: "Damn it! Someone dares to bully you? Watch me handle him!"
It turned out he had returned to the guesthouse, only to remember he forgot to give Sun Chan the food he’d brought for her, so he rushed back. Seeing her in the distance as she seemed to be seeking someone, he followed and discovered she had been deceived. Anger surged within him, prompting him to rush over and knock the person out.
Seeing Han Dong, Sun Chan’s mouth was agape, just as she was about to speak, he put his finger to his lips. He pulled Sun Chan up, recalling what had just happened, and kicked the man hard. He lay there motionless, with some blood on his head.
Han Dong then headed straight for Liu Qingshuang.
Liu Qingshuang heard footsteps and turned back, asking: "Is it done? Boo hoo..."
Han Dong didn’t wait for her to see him, using the stone in Sun Chan’s hand to gently knock her on the temple. Her eyes rolled back and she fainted.
Meanwhile, people outside had begun shouting Liu Qingshuang’s name loudly, making their way over.
Sun Chan walked outside with a livid face: "I’m going to tell them what these two did!"
"No," Han Dong stopped her, saying: "If this gets out, they’ll face the consequences, but what about you? Would you let them ruin your good name? Trust me, don’t say more, just leave. I’ll cover for you, saying the two are dating here, ensuring you’re not implicated. They won’t dare say much."
His words made sense, even if it was proven he intended to assault her, Sun Chan would still be gossiped about. That’s why Liu Qingshuang dared to be so bold. After all, Sun Chan would be the one disgraced, giving them confidence!
"What about you?"
"I’ll leave immediately. Just go, if people see this it can’t be explained." Han Dong urged her to leave.
Sun Chan was furious, but there was no better option. She kicked Liu Qingshuang again, then tossed the two together, and ran out to the woods to call for help, telling them she found Liu Qingshuang.
Soon after heading out, she met her coworkers, who greeted her, asking if she saw Liu Qingshuang.
"We’ve looked everywhere, but didn’t see her! Did something happen?"
"Actually, I saw a silhouette on the edge of the woods, not sure if it was her," Sun Chan bit her lip and said.
"Really? Why didn’t you go find her?"
"Well..." Remembering earlier, Sun Chan’s face turned pale, really hard to say: "Let’s just go check first, we’ll talk later!"
Together, everyone walked towards the woods, Sun Chan trailing behind, pondering how to explain this matter to them. Couldn’t just say the two were messing around, right? When they reached the edge, the girls in front all screamed and ran back, covering their eyes.
"Oh my! What is that? So disgusting!"
An older married sister spat on the ground: "Ugh! Absolutely disgraceful!"
Sun Chan was stunned, craning her neck to see, feeling a bit muddled.
The two were stark naked hugging each other. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, it must’ve been Han Dong’s doing, the fellow was really bold and reckless, daring to do such a thing? Sun Chan was anxious, swaying slightly, luckily supported by the older sister behind her. As for Han Dong, he was long gone.
"No wonder Sun Chan looked so unhappy earlier, seeing such a thing, how could she be okay?"
"What do we do now?"
"Get some guys to help, how can we handle this?" After all, there was still a naked man over there. Though the sister was married, they couldn’t be too brazen.
Everyone went to find security, and someone threw clothes over the two, feeling quite disdainful. What a mess! Liu Qingshuang’s figure wasn’t really great, not very fair either, giving many of the young onlookers a shock!
The sister took Sun Chan’s hand: "You must’ve been scared just now, take some calming medicine when you’re back."
Sun Chan said with effort: "I’m fine, really. I’m just a bit uncomfortable."
"Good, that’s right, we’re modern youth, we must be brave," the sister said.
The older sister was also somewhat rattled, such an eye-sore wasn’t for young unmarried girls like Sun Chan to see. If this were to spread, the entire unit’s reputation would be ruined, but such a big deal likely couldn’t be kept hidden. Plus, those searching girls’ continuous screams had already attracted the security guards’ attention, they were rushing over.
