"I’m Sun Chan’s partner. I came back with her," Gu Junming’s voice was low and deep.

"Partner...?" Zhao Xiuxia shrieked, "Who does she have as a partner? She’s my daughter, I decide who she marries, I won’t agree, so you better leave and stay out of our family affairs!" She attempted to strike again, but Gu Junming held her shoulder down.

"Calm down, throwing a fit won’t solve anything."

"I’m telling you... Ow!" Zhao Xiuxia couldn’t finish her sentence as Gu Junming’s grip made her whole body go limp, unable to even stand straight.

Sun Lijuan, already feeling unwell, was furious upon hearing that Sun Chan had found a partner, and he was a soldier, seemingly with a high position. She was so angry she almost fainted.
