CHAPTER 440: CHAPTER 182: THE MOST HIGH-PROFILE NEW EMPLOYEE (PART 2)
Even such simple classification and filing are done clumsily; I have no idea how HR hires people. Thinking of the HR department, Luna dares not voice out. Originally, she was from Chang Mei’s faction, everyone says Chang Chi’s sudden resignation was caused by a trap set by the Chairman’s wife. Recently, seeing the faction led by the Chairman’s wife becoming more powerful, she also wanted to ingratiate herself with the HR manager like some do.
If the little assistant in front of her is affiliated with the HR department, it’s better not to offend.
Luna’s gaze is both haughty and hesitant. Su Ziceng felt somewhat uncomfortable under her scrutiny, thinking who does she think she is, her direct boss is that man sitting in the office.
"Him, I am under him," Su Ziceng shifted the blame to Pello. She didn’t know this desk was already occupied. She didn’t want to be targeted by this woman, dressed up like a hen peacock, on her first day at the company.
"Manager?" Luna’s expression suddenly brightened up. Although Pello is in his prime now and is known for his good temper and not offending people, scolding someone under him should not be a big issue.
"Get up, this is not your place to sit, lack of manners, also not aware of what you’re sitting on," Luna swept all the documents Su Ziceng had carefully classified onto the floor, then trampled them recklessly with her high heels, accusing the assistant of stealing her spot and trying to cozy up to Manager Pello on her first day.
Seeing those seven-inch high heels, Su Ziceng watched as her documents were utterly crushed, her first instinct was to look towards the office. Through the blinds, she can see Pello was head down working, seemingly unaware of everything happening outside.
As for the other veteran employees in the office, everyone acted as if nothing had happened, some drinking tea, others typing.
Watching the drama, is it? Su Ziceng held her breath and squatted down.
Luna proudly watched the figure bending down, thinking this new girl ought to be humble and subdued. Joining the Su Family, one must learn to read faces – this was like an early lesson for her.
Su Ziceng stopped picking up the papers, her voice came tremblingly from the ground, indiscernible whether it was from anger or something else... "The paper is sticking under your feet, could you please lift your foot."
Luna crossed her arms, initially not wanting to lift her foot, but then she saw Pello suddenly looked up through the blinds. She quickly adjusted into a smiling face, thinking today she was in a good mood and would let this dead girl off the hook. She shifted her heel, revealing the bright red sole.
The red sole is a trademark of Christian Louboutin, known for its stability. Su Ziceng quickly set down the papers, grabbed the conceited high-heeled shoes, and shoved hard.
"Ah!" Luna’s scream was heard throughout the office, all the employees stopped their actions.
Luna, dressed in a high-collar, high-end Balenciaga suit, had never stumbled in the Su Family’s office; always advising the new girls to wear good shoes and walk stable paths. She never imagined a day where she would trip harshly, her skirt rolling up, engulfed by paper, her face splashed with spilled tea.
"You dead girl," Luna held back her nearly broken heel, ready to start fighting with Su Ziceng.
"May I ask, which one is Miss Su Ziceng?" A florist delivery worker stood outside the door, having been instructed by a kindly old secretary downstairs to deliver the flowers directly.
"Su Ziceng?" This person, everyone still knows her, the former financial secretary used her as a negative example, stating in this day and age, it’s pathetic not to know financial knowledge. But no one dares genuinely mock Su Ziceng; knowing that if anyone in the office had a family background like Su Ziceng’s, even if they couldn’t recognize Arabic numerals, what would it matter.
But that infamous yet always elusive princess, how could she be in the finance department.
"I am, it’s mine," Su Ziceng glared at Luna, and if it were not in public, she would’ve assuredly smashed a few holes on this damn woman’s forehead.
Luna dared not make a sound anymore. In front of her was the young, imposing assistant who was actually Su Ziceng. My goodness, what has she done?
She dared to steal the position meant for the princess, Su Ziceng, who could sit on the Su Family’s golden signboard with no one daring to speak up.
