CHAPTER 265: CHAPTER 265: I DIDN’T TOUCH HER

The room was quite noisy, and Bella Green took advantage of the crowd to slip outside. She looked at the makeup room not far away, her gaze shifted slightly, and she walked over.

Inside the makeup room, Kyle Hughes was already dressed. His face had been splashed with a lot of cold water, calming him down a bit, but something was off about it—it was excessively pale.

When Bella Green pushed the door open, she saw a man sitting despondently in a chair.

Upon hearing this, the man’s eyes narrowed abruptly, a flash of panic crossing them.

Seeing this, Bella Green raised her hand to close the door, walked over to him, leaned back on the dressing table, and played with a compact powder case in her hand.

"What do you want?" Kyle Hughes stared at her warily, but his tone carried a hint of compromise.

"Since I chose to come here and talk to you, I naturally intend to help you."

"Help me?" Kyle Hughes furrowed his brows, looking at her somewhat suspiciously.

He wasn’t deeply impressed by this supposed third male lead, hadn’t even had any scenes together, at most shared a camera shot.

But he was also aware that this young man only landed the role because of good luck, so he didn’t trust Bella Green...

"Your recent state, anyone with sense could guess what’s going on. Right now they’re targeting Fiona Grantham and Ivy Willis. When they come to their senses, do you think you can escape being chased down by reporters?"

With each word the young man said, Kyle Hughes’s face grew increasingly grim. By the end, his expression was downright unsightly.

How could he not understand Bella Green’s words?

"So how are you going to help me?" Kyle Hughes tried to keep his voice steady, but it still revealed a hint of urgent panic.

He didn’t really believe in Bella Green much, but at this moment, he had no other way out...

Upon hearing this, Bella Green’s eyes curved, smiling innocently and harmlessly.

"You have to be out in five minutes at most." She glanced at the time and spoke.

"Have you gone mad enough? It was Kyle Hughes who did that to you, why are you grabbing onto me?"

Upon hearing this, Ivy Willis ceased her screams, her gaze growing increasingly venomous.

Just then, Kyle Hughes walked in, dressed but looking exhausted.

A group of reporters saw him and immediately swarmed over like wolves upon meat.

"Kyle Hughes, did you just forcefully embrace Ivy Willis, or did you get too into the scene?"

"Are you doing this for publicity, or are you really a pervert, acting out this inappropriateness toward Ivy Willis during filming?"

"Are you forcing yourself on her, or is it unspoken rules? With Miss Ivy Willis claiming she wants to file a police report, what’s your take on that?"

Listening to the increasingly unpleasant words, Kyle Hughes’s face turned unsightly, his body stiffening, clearly a bit stunned.

He subtly glanced at Bella Green, then turned his gaze to the reporters in front of him, his hoarse voice slowly speaking.

"It’s not true, I didn’t touch her. I was framed by this woman, Ivy Willis."
