CHAPTER 418: CHAPTER 418: WHAT IS THIS, USE IT AND THROW IT AWAY?

Bella Green looked at him, struggled for quite a while to find the right words, and finally just waved her hand.

"Forget it, I’ll find it myself, you go back to sleep."

Daniel Green: "..."

Bella Green headed straight for Daniel’s closet and looked for a long time. It was all new clothes of the season.

"Hey, don’t you have any old clothes?" she asked.

Daniel was somewhat bewildered by her series of actions, shook his head in confusion: "Why would I have old clothes?"

Bella opened her mouth but couldn’t say anything. Someone like Daniel, who has been living in luxury, couldn’t possibly keep old clothes. She was overthinking it.

"Never mind, it’s fine, I’m leaving."

Bella said, and was about to leave.

Seeing this, Daniel quickly stepped in front of her and hurriedly said, "Actually, I do have some, in the room next door, I’ll show you."

It could be called a room, or rather a storeroom, filled with Daniel’s things: an unused bike, a basketball, and many odd items.

"Well, there are some clothes here that I didn’t want to throw away since they’re still nice. What are you up to?"

Bella raised an eyebrow: "Tsk, a pampered kid still has the habit of keeping old clothes?"

With that, she started rummaging through them.

Daniel blushed: "Not really, just kept a few favorites."

Before long, Bella fished out a set of black punk-style clothes.

They looked a bit like the ones she bought at the mall last time, but that set had been thrown away by Mason Bennett...

Bella checked and thought the size might still work; it probably wouldn’t be too big on her.

"Hmm, I’ll borrow this set."

She said, and took the clothes out the door.

Daniel was momentarily stunned, then followed her, trailing all the way to Bella’s room. The girl went in and slammed the door shut with a bang, almost hitting Daniel’s nose as he was closely following her.

Standing at the door, Daniel looked resentful.

What was this, use and discard?

After waiting for quite a while, the door finally opened again.

Out came the girl, or was it... a boy? Daniel’s eyes widened instantly.

Her short hair was styled into a kind of artful mess, the black jeans were slightly long and rolled up a few times, and the black top hung loosely on her, giving her a kind of slouched, rebellious vibe.

If Daniel weren’t so familiar with her, he would definitely think he was looking at a defiant, rebellious boy.

"Why are you still here?" Bella raised an eyebrow.

Daniel blushed, then looked at her in confusion: "Dressed like this, where are you going?"

"Got stuff to do." Bella said and was about to leave but then stepped back and smiled warmly.

It was the first time Daniel had seen Bella smile at him like that, and he was momentarily dazed, taking quite a while to snap out of it.

"Lend me the car keys."

"Uh, they’re in the car," Daniel said blankly, and then he froze.

Bella’s borrowing the car? But she doesn’t have a license, right?

Just as he was about to speak, she was already gone, and Daniel quickly turned to chase after her.

"Where are you going? Let me drive you,"

"No need," Bella said, heading straight to the garage, where she got into the silver Porsche.

Daniel saw her get directly into the driver’s seat and even start the car, which gave him a fright, and he hurriedly crawled into the passenger seat.

"Bella Green, stop fooling around, get out. If you want to drive, I’ll teach you another day."

Bella raised an eyebrow: "Why did you get in?"

Daniel: "..." You’re driving my car, asking why I got in?
