CHAPTER 526: CHAPTER 526: THIS LITTLE BASTARD ACTUALLY BLATANTLY CHEATED!?

Mason Bennett showed no expression, his eyes darkening slightly, and was ready to leave. But Fiona Grantham had already hurriedly stepped in front of him.

Fiona glanced at the lingerie shop in front of them, her cheeks flushed a little, and she smiled shyly.

"Mason, are you here to buy something? I can give you some advice."

"No need." Mason said coldly and was about to leave.

Having finally caught Mason Bennett here, how could she let him leave just like that? She blocked his way again.

"Mason, I know you have some bias against me now, but all those things slandering me aren’t true. Nothing ever happened between Gregory and me, trust me."

Mason looked at her with a touch of impatience.

Seeing him silent, Fiona continued, "I know you are with Bella now, and I truly wish you both well, but we’re still friends, aren’t we? You wouldn’t ignore me over some misunderstandings, would you?"

The woman, with her head lowered and looking utterly dejected, indeed evoked sympathy.

If it were someone else seeing her like this, they might have rushed forward to wrap her in their arms and comfort her.

Who would bear to see her suffer any grievance?

But facing her was Mason Bennett, who wouldn’t show her a shred of sympathy or softness.

"There was never really any friendship between us, nor will there be in the future."

His cold and harsh tone made Fiona’s face change. She then raised her head, looking as if she was about to cry, extremely aggrieved as she gazed at him.

"Mason, can you really not forgive me? I wasn’t intentionally opposing Bella Green. At first, the role was assigned to me; I don’t know why it later went to Bella. I didn’t mean to fight with her, really. After my role was initially confirmed, I didn’t know it would change to Bella. I know she’s supported by you, and I can’t compete with her, but I didn’t want to compete with her."

Her restrained demeanor made Mason pause, his gaze icy as he looked at her.

"So, what you’re saying is Bella Green abused her power to steal your role?"

Mason’s words were exactly what Fiona thought, and seeing him say it himself, she was secretly delighted, though she appeared utterly helpless and embarrassed.

"That’s not what I mean. Actually, I can understand. After all, with your backing, she naturally has confidence, plus she’s young and inevitably loses control when acting."

Her words seemed magnanimous, as if she was considering Bella, but clearly, she was criticizing Bella Green.

Upon hearing that, Mason’s gaze turned increasingly icy, and his look towards Fiona grew even colder and more distant.

"Since you know she’s supported by me, why do you still compete with her?"

His unreasonable favoritism was so outrageous that Fiona’s eyes widened in disbelief, struggling to process it.

"She took advantage of my power, bullied you, so what?"

Fiona’s pupils suddenly contracted, unable to react for a long while, or rather, not knowing how to respond.

Yet Mason’s next words nearly crushed her.

"You’re dissatisfied? Then you’ll have to endure it."

Fiona looked at him in disbelief, unable to imagine such unreasonable words coming from him.

"Mason, you..."

Meanwhile, Bella Green, currently listening to the old Mrs. Jiang introducing various functional lingerie, glanced up and saw Mason being pestered by Fiona, her face immediately sinking.

The enthusiastic old Mrs. Jiang glanced at her and was startled by her sudden change of expression. Following Bella’s gaze, she looked over, and nearly jumped up in shock.

"That little rascal, actually cheating so blatantly!?"
