If Celitia were still her former self who commanded wind and clouds, doing such a thing would not be impossible.

Kill all the witnesses present, take Luna and the others far away, hide in the countryside, or even in neighboring countries.

But Celitia was very clear that her current self was too weak—she could neither accomplish this nor protect them.

This was absolutely not a suitable choice. Although this thought had surfaced first in her mind, it was also the first one Celitia dismissed.

If she settled for the next best option, making Olar forget everything that happened today was something that could be done.

However, there were too many witnesses present—three people besides Luna, and when she passed through the courtyard, there might have been even more people who saw her.

Even if she erased their memories, this matter absolutely could not be concealed.

The heavy sandalwood stick fell from Celitia's hand, crashing onto the floor with a loud "clang."

The stunned maids in the room were awakened by this loud crash and let out sharp screams in unison.

In that chaotic noise, only Luna rushed to Celitia's side.

Shock, panic, and worry intertwined and changed on her face. Luna's mind was dizzy, and her hand reaching toward Celitia trembled continuously:

"Lily! Are you alright?!"

Celitia shook her head: "I'm fine."

Luna felt her up and down, confirming that Celitia had no obvious external injuries before turning her attention to the unconscious Olar:

"Then Young Master Olar, he..."

"Olar? His left arm and right wrist are dislocated. They'll be fine once reset—it's not a serious injury, he won't die from it."

A mocking smile curved at the corner of Celitia's lips. "As for that blow to the head, I hope it can knock some sense into his brain."

"But the master and madam... won't listen..." Luna said in a trembling voice.

"It's alright, Luna."

Celitia smiled, gently smoothing Luna's disheveled bangs that had been soaked with sweat.

"Remember, this incident has nothing to do with you at all. I was the one who burst in, I was the one who acted, and I was the one who knocked him unconscious."

Since she dared to do it, she naturally dared to take responsibility.

So what if she faced punishment? She was someone who had already died twice—was there anything left to fear?

"Even if father and mother want to punish... punish me... so be it..."

The power in her body was rapidly draining away. As the last trace of strength disappeared without a trace, it also took away Celitia's final bit of energy.

Her vision went black in waves, blurring until she couldn't see anything clearly. Celitia instantly lost consciousness and involuntarily collapsed forward.

"Lily! What's wrong with you?!"

Luna hurriedly caught the suddenly falling girl, holding her in her arms. She felt that the body in her embrace was weak and powerless, so soft it seemed like it would deform at the slightest touch.

"I'm fine..."

The power that had suddenly erupted earlier had crushed through her untrained circuits like a devastating force.

Every nerve in her body faithfully transmitted intense pain to her brain, telling her exactly how much power beyond her tolerance she had used.

All things considered, that was at most about one-tenth of her former level. Her current body couldn't even withstand this small amount of power.

Suppressing the physical pain with all her might, Celitia wanted to put on an expression as if nothing had happened.

Under the strain of endurance, the stuffy pain in her chest became heavier. Celitia felt a metallic sweetness in her throat and could no longer hold back, suddenly spitting out a large mouthful of blood.

The crimson liquid sprayed entirely onto Luna, staining her white dress red with scattered spots that were particularly shocking to behold.

"Lily! You're coughing up blood!!"

Luna was scared out of her wits, her mind went completely blank, and she was so panicked she forgot how to react.

"...Cough cough... cough cough cough... I'm fine..."

Celitia gasped, trying to swallow back the remaining blood, but accidentally choked instead. She had to cover her lips with her hand and began coughing violently yet suppressedly.

Fresh blood seeped through the gaps between her fingers, flowing over the back of her hand that was pale to the point of near transparency, dripping drop by drop from the edge of her palm—red and white, a stark contrast.

"Sorry... Luna... cough cough cough... I dirtied... your clothes..."

Her fingertips pinched tightly at her own cheeks, her five fingers applying extreme force, leaving bright red crescent marks on that fair skin.

Luna held the girl fearfully, the violently dizzying sound of heartbeats echoing in her ears.

At a time like this, she was still apologizing for such trivial matters.

Why apologize?

Why had it come to this?

Listening to those violent coughs, like blades cutting across, repeatedly tearing at her heart.

"Lily, what's wrong with you? Don't scare me, really, don't scare me—!!"

"First... first take the young lady back, then call for a doctor to take a look?"

It was actually Gidi who reacted first, very carefully reminding Luna.

"Right!!"

Luna suddenly understood, her frightened blank mind finally cleared slightly, finding what she should do.

"Lily, bear with it for a moment, I'll carry you back right away!"

Luna's hands trembled as she lifted the limp and powerless girl horizontally. She felt that the weight in her arms was light as a feather, making her heart ache even more, and she couldn't help but shed tears.

Lily, her Lily, had already become so thin, so weak.

She had clearly sworn to take good care of her—why couldn't she do it?

Why had she once again let her sacrifice herself, while she could only helplessly watch her pained face, unable to help at all?

Tears fell like raindrops. Luna bit her teeth tightly, holding the girl in her arms, and rushed quickly out the door.

Wait, why is it a princess carry again?

I say, you people, wouldn't carrying me on your back work?

Celitia wanted to protest. Her lips moved slightly, but she had no strength to utter a single word.

Her head rested powerlessly against Luna's chest, her light ash-blonde long curls scattered and falling, brushing over the vivid red marks on the girl's white dress, filled with a certain chaotic and broken beauty.

Gazes from the courtyard were drawn over, looking in amazement as Luna ran toward the back courtyard.

However, she hadn't run far when Butler Frank appeared with a group of people, blocking Luna's path.

"Stop right there!"

Beth and Jennifer had somehow escaped from the side hall and run to report. They were now standing behind Frank.

The two competed to clear themselves of any involvement:

"Mr. Frank, Celitia knocked out Young Master Olar, and the young master is still unconscious in the side hall!"

"That's right, we all saw it! It was all Celitia's doing, it has nothing to do with us at all!"

Frank shouted to the people behind him: "Quickly! Go rescue the young master!"

Two male servants rushed out hurriedly. Frank turned to look at Luna holding Celitia, his expression so grim it seemed water might drip from it.

"Luna, where are you taking Miss Celitia?"

"Mr. Frank!" Luna said urgently, "Lily is sick, she coughed up a lot of blood. Please let me take her back to her room and find a doctor to examine her!"
