CHAPTER 1451: DECENT GROWTH

That Sky Battle was sure intense, showing just how there was a lot of great challenges down here right away. The Nightmare Beasts were sure really strong, but I don’t think it would be impossible for the strongest students I’ve seen to deal with them if they worked together.

For example, over half of the students we fought against in the arena battles would fare pretty well against these monsters... As long as they join into a big team and don’t take more than one monster at a time.

Some of their powers were very ridiculous after all, like Seraphin’s ability to trap foes into another dimension, or that Chinese guy whose name I don’t remember anymore that was interested on Emeraldine, that had Sun Wu Kong powers.

There’s also the Fiera girl that Alma fought against, and many others. I’m honestly looking forward to the future and what awaits them... If we can manage to save this world, what will happen afterwards?

Will Nightmares stop existing altogether, will Dream Weapons or Dream Hearts disappear? We don’t really know, and we might not be able to know at all...

But if I want to think about it deeply and create some speculation inside my head to kill time, I will say that... perhaps these things will remain.

Based in what Beatriz talked about, the power of Dreams, Nightmares, and so on existed even before humanity, and its accumulating energy is what materialized this place even before humans appeared.

If we deal with whatever is causing chaos in here, this power will remain anyway, it’s like a constant thing, a law of this world.

Just like Yggdrasil has Mana, this world has Dream/Nightmare Essence, I suppose its just part of the living beings of this planet.

Something, a mutation happened, that allowed them to produce this supernatural energy one way or another...

Still, it’s pretty amazing when you think about, right?

And if we can truly manage to win... Then this world will finally take a break from its endless loops, and it will become settled.

Maybe in the Tower?

Then other Players could even visit it, and it might get exposed to other worlds... and its dangers.

Wait, I don’t like that too much though!

I wish there could be a way to "lock" the world from unwanted visitors like Odin is doing with Yggdrasil, unless special means are used.

But... well, whatever, there’s no point in thinking these things for the moment.

Once the time comes, we’ll see what happens.

For now, it must be around the middle of the night, and nobody in my team is even tired, aside from Emeraldine who was feeling fatigued from her pregnancy, but she’s wide awake either way.

However, in here... Well, let’s say there isn’t a day or night circle, there’s no real sun in here, but some sort of sphere of light that’s constantly shining, probably some weird artificial sun.

I could probably go check what the hell it is, maybe a Nightmare or something? Or perhaps a distortion in space and time, this place is, after all, a Nightmare Field, which was Nightmare Realm properties.

Reality itself is distorted here based on the dreams and nightmares of people, this Hollow Earth probably embodies not the dreams of people but of ancient beings, who didn’t quite dream as crazy as us humans.

These jungles, deserts, volcanoes, and more, are probably distortions in space from such dreams, perhaps even this sun is what every living being believed should always be there, and which they dreamed about.

Though, the more I look at it from here, the more it feels like... It’s really strong. I think that sun might be a living being, a dormant one.

I could go bother it and see what it is, fight it for EXP and leave this place eternally dark...

But I’ll be a decent person and just leave it be, unless it comes down to fight us, it would be just way too cruel to go do that to the poor little, or well, gigantic thing.

Anyway, as we moved to the Wild Rainforest, I looked at my current growth.

A Simple Title Skill given by the World of Blue Star after you’ve showed your incredible might as a Hunter, slaying over five hundred "Nightmaresaurs" on your own, a name to such beings which this World has taken a liking to, and which will use to refer to these ancient Nightmare Beasts from now on.

When facing and fighting Nightmares, your Stats will increase by 15%, and your Damage Dealt will increase by 50%. These effects will double when fighting Nightmaresaurs, increasing by the same amount every Title Skill Level.

Nightmaresaurs will respect you and see you as one of their own and will only show aggression when they feel you’re weaker than them or look like that. If you release your Aura, they will quickly scream and run away, however.

This Title Skill can evolve and obtain new Abilities if you drink the blood of Nightmaresaurs and eat their meat continuously.

Hmm~ A pretty simple Title Skill, but there could be some hidden abilities that I could obtain from it, so it’s not too bad either.

Maybe I’ll get to chowing some of those dinosaurs... How about cooking them up? I wish I had the time though; the Wild Rainforest is right in front of us!
