CHAPTER 1454: A CLASH OF MONSTROUS ARMIES

With only two levels gained so far, it felt slightly underwhelming, honestly. We hunted a lot of flying Nightmaresaurs and nothing, so it was finally time to get going and start doing some true leveling.

I really just need five, FIVE more levels, and I can evolve! So I cannot just let it be, I need to get to Level 300 before we reach the Nightmare Void Sea, no matter what.

And luckily, we already had a nice offering of EXP right into our platters.

RUMBLE!

Countless footsteps started approaching us from the Wild Rainforest, Beatriz, now in her half-cat and half-nightmare demon form looked scared, worried, while glancing her surroundings.

The Wild Rainforest looked like a big, dense forest of wild tropical plants, with colors ranging from green to purple, pink, orange, and red.

There were a lot of flowers, a lot of trees, a lot of grass, and the smell of plants and wet soil permeated every inch of this place.

There were bugs everywhere too, from small mosquitoes to giant things flying round, albeit mostly ignoring us due to still being fairly "small" compared to the real threats.

TRUUUM!

The footsteps continued approaching, as we moved forwards as a big army, the trees around us started collapsing one after another at the same time.

"They’re here, a big wave!"

As I heard Lucifer’s roar while he flew above us using his giant draconic wings, still in his humanoid form, he summoned his blazing scythe.

"Let’s do this!"

RUMBLE!

CRAAAASH!

The ground shattered apart, and trees were sent flying away.

Hundreds of beasts emerged, the smallest over thirty meters in height.

Leading them were terrifying, larger monsters, although not as big as my Undead Kaiju, they seemed to be of the same species, or close to it.

"ROOOAAARRR!"

"GRUOOOHHH!"

"SHAAAAAHH!"

They were roughly five of them, they looked slightly different than my Kaiju, some had red scales, others were purple scaled, and a few had giant pincers in their claws.

The other monsters looked stranger, they were chimeras of various dinosaur types, with the heads of triceratops, t-rexes, velociraptors, and more.

They stepped into the ground, making it tremble as they roared, an army of monstrosities that could easily overrun entire cities.

"Alright, let’s begin!"

We attacked back as both armies clashed.

Although technically, can you even call these monsters an "army" other than just a crazed horde trying to kill us for trespassing their territory?

"ROOOAAARRR!"

Garudorr was the first to act, surprisingly. A single step forward and a roar, and a giant atomic blast came out from his mouth.

BOOOMMM!!!

He instantly deleted from existence one of his below Kaiju, its head being blown off instantly, its massive body falling.

BAAAM!

I felt a huge wave of EXP after that, any of my Undead would share 100% of the EXP they earned to me after all.

While non-undead party members would usually give me 50% of it, my Undead were obviously another thing entirely, hehe.

His breath blasted many more of the small fry, so strong it was that almost a hundred were gone in an instant.

But it wasn’t that good though, like that a lot of precious resources were lost!

"Garudorr, don’t use that breath too much! I need their corpses intact."

"GRRRHHH...!"

Garudorr didn’t like the idea of being ordered, he kept a gigantic ego and personality even after being raised as an Undead.

And although he showed his clear annoyance, he didn’t disobey me, stepping forward.

CRAAASH!

And using his massive foot to crush and flatten the dinosaurs, killing dozens after dozens of them with each step!

"Wow, he’s amazing!"

Arachne giggled, turning into her giant spider form for the first time since we got in here.

She was overflowing with Dream Energy, her powers as the Sin of Sloth remained within her and had even grown stronger after we got into this world.

The Sin of Sloth was purified out of her, and I ate it, but her powers remained, twisted, and then turning into her own personal power.

She was still figuring how to fight though, as she mostly brute forced things a lot...

But she was definitely getting somewhere!

"RAAAAAHHH!"

Her Aura erupted, her giant spear-like legs impaled and pierced dozens of monstrous Nightmaresaurs one after another.

As she walked, dozens of their corpses were left impaling her legs, blood and guts splattering everywhere in a scene straight out of an horror movie.

"GRYYAAAAH!"

The pincer-clawed Kaiju stepped forward, opening its beak-like jaws and firing a beam shaped as several rings of pink energy.

TRUUUM!

BOOOM!

Arachne evaded it by an hair, as she climbed over the monster’s gigantic leg! And then, she opened her jaws, biting its leg and injecting venom.

"GRYYAAAGH?!"

The Kaiju grew mad, using its long tongue to hit her hard.

BAAAM!

Arachne’s enormous body fell to the ground, rolling over it, only for her to stand back up and rush forward, activating her powers.

FLUOSH!

Suddenly, countless spiderwebs appeared, made of Nightmare and Demonic Flames, wrapping around the Kaiju’s tail and stopping it.

"I got you!"

She leaped into the monster’s face, biting its face angrily and viciously, injecting more and more venom.

"GRYYAAAAHH!"

As she constantly bit her prey with her sharp fangs, her magic bombarded it with demonic fireballs and weakened it with cursed eye techniques, although she couldn’t quite stop him completely.

"SHYAAAAH!"

She roared and hissed like a big spider would do, and the Kaiju roared back.

As I slaughtered Nightmaresaurs by swinging my weapon and leaving behind piles of flesh and guts everywhere, painting these green jungles red, I saw the dance between two mighty giants.

Arachne, you’ve sure come a long way...

BAAAM!

Standing victorious above her massive prey, Arachne hissed like a ferocious beast queen, the monster, unable to bear with so many venomous bites and the accumulated damage, collapsed and died on the spot.

"GRUOOOHHH!"

And yet the battle was never-ending, a massive turtle-like Kaiju appeared from underground, shaking the battlefield entirely.

TRUUUM!

It roared furiously, facing me with its massive eyes, a monster over three hundred meters of height.

Not as big as my Kaiju but...

"Lucifer, you’re up."

"I know! He’s mine!"

Lucifer smiled, rushing towards the giant monster.

CLAAASH!
