CHAPTER 827: CHAPTER 827: SO PROUD OF YOU

"Yes, Your Majesty," Dimo beamed and Arabella could not help but smile too.

The rescued Prudencians chuckled as they saw how Dimo convinced her with his cuteness.

Dimo healed until the hundredth person and tried his luck again, "I still have more mana. Can I heal more?"

He asked in such a cute tone but Arabella steeled herself since she could see Dimo was already sweating.

"No. This is more than enough for you today. Leave the rest to your elders," Arabella did not agree this time.

"Aww," Dimo said in such a disappointed voice. His small shoulders even sagged.

’Look at this child! But it won’t work on me anymore,’ Arabella shook her head.

She could not allow Dimo to overdo it too. This was exactly why she came here.

Looking at the knight assigned to Dimo, she could tell he would have said yes until Dimo was visibly breathing hard and sweating buckets before he stops him.

"You did very well. You can brag to your master later. I’m sure he would be impressed," Arabella cheered him up.

"Really?" Dimo perked up.

"Yes," Arabella smiled.

The rescued Prudencians thanked Dimo and her and said a lot of praise to cheer up the child.

With their words, Dimo had a satisfied smile on his face when they got out of the room.

Once they were outside, Dimo removed his blindfold and asked with bright eyes, "Did I really do well?"

"Yes, you were awesome. I’m so proud of you," Arabella patted his head and Dimo enjoyed the praise.

Dimo had grown so much indeed. She could not help but feel like the times she watched Fermin keep on growing and improving so quickly.

Dimo was the same right now.

She could not help but take pride in his achievements and wish to see him grow even more.

He was their little protege who had a tendency to be an overachiever just like his master.

Arabella smiled at him and said, "Thank you for helping us here."

"I’m the one who’s grateful for this opportunity, Your Majesty," Dimo beamed brightly.

’Oh my, he’s so adorable. With him this eager to learn and experience things, it is no wonder Alwin is also impressed by his growth.’

"Sir Rendell. Sir Rendell..."

Dimo asked Rendell and the knight assigned to him too, wanting to be praised by them as well. They chuckled and praised Dimo as well.

[Now, I understand why Her Majesty decided to go with him. It’s so hard to say no to this child.]

The knight sighed in relief knowing that he was saved from trouble.

If Arabella had not gone with them, he would be getting scolded later for allowing Dimo to heal people until he was almost out of mana.

[How impressive. He already healed a hundred and yet he wants more. He was able to contribute to this so much more than all of us, Her Majesty’s assistant added together. Ah, except for Nadia and Odette of course. They had been doing an impressive job since the beginning as well.]

Ronald was impressed with Dimo’s skills and felt inferior since a child much younger than him contributed so much to this.

[I want to learn more about magic too. He’s a normal human but he’s very much learned in magic. I should be able to learn as much as I can as well and be useful.]

Ronald was challenged after he observed Dimo. He had a new motivation to improve not only in his skills at work but also in magic.

. . .

When they returned to the room where the others were, Alwin was still unconscious.

"Is my Master really alright?" Dimo asked with worry as he held Alwin’s hand again.

[This is the first time I felt Master low in mana. But he still feels so powerful. He must have healed so many people for him to use up almost all his mana.]

Dimo was able to tell Alwin barely had any mana left.

"Yes. He just used up so much mana so he needs to recover it," Arabella assured Dimo. "You should go and rest now too. I have asked the chef to prepare your favorite meals."

"Really?!" Dimo’s eyes immediately perked up upon the mention of his favorite foods.

"Yes, so go eat plenty of food, drink lots of water, and have some rest before going to bed. Alright?" Arabella knew exactly how to reward him for today.

She has prepared some gifts for Dimo and will ask Alwin or Riley to teach him something new later as a reward for his help in healing Prudencians.

"Yes, Your Majesty!" Dimo was in a good mood as he left the room with his escort knight.

Arabella sighed in relief once Dimo had left. They were back to work again.

Dimo’s presence brightened their heavy mood earlier and gave them a good breather after everything that happened today. He was a great help too.

Now, they are back to reality.

"Hmm," Alwin tilted his head as if feeling uncomfortable.

It was hard to see him like this since he had always been lively and full of all sorts of complaints when he was with her.

Now, he was unconscious and too silent.

Raymond was so strict to tell them to let Alwin pass out but with Alwin’s actions, it was indeed a necessity.

’Please learn your lesson from this and do not overdo it again,’ Arabella gently brushed away lockes that covered his face.

’Huh? Why is he so hot?’

She could feel the heat emanating from his body just from brushing his locks aside and tucking them behind his ears.

Arabella touched Alwin’s forehead and was wide-eyed.

"He’s burning up! Does overdose in recovery potions also cause a fever?" Arabella asked Rendell.

"Yes, Your Majesty. There are times it does. This is the first time Alwin overdosed in recovery potions so this is a normal reaction," Rendell assured.

Alwin was not one to use recovery potions after all.

This was the first time he drank this much and in a single day too in quick succession.
