One of the guys in the back, impatiently, added, "Brother Cheng, why waste time talking to him? Let’s just get it over with. We’re still planning to go drinking later!"

Cheng Jun thought about it and agreed. This kid had actually dared to suggest his cousin get divorced—talking to him would be pointless. Giving him a beating to stick up for his cousin was the real priority.

With a wave of his hand, the group surged forward to surround Stone, while Stone carefully placed the book he was carrying somewhere safe to avoid damage.

Before they could even react, Stone swiftly took down two of them. The rest of the men were visibly shocked—they hadn’t expected Stone to be so skilled in fighting.

When Cheng Jun had assembled his crew, he hadn’t clearly explained who Stone was. All he thought was that the guys he found were people constantly fighting—surely they could handle one military school student.

The others hesitated for a moment before closing in, trying to avoid being taken down one by one.

But it was all futile. Within moments, they were all lying on the ground.

Seeing a few kids coming down the street, Stone pulled a few beef jerky pieces from his pocket: "Take these jerky pieces and go to the police station up ahead. Tell them there are bad guys here."

The kids happily took the jerky, running ahead to report the incident while shouting, "Catch the baddies!"
