Han Ruixue looked at her cousins across from her aunt: “But aunt, I clearly heard before, they all call you Aunt Gu. If they’re nice to you, why don’t they call you mom?”

Luo Qiao couldn’t hold it back any longer and suddenly chuckled: “Didn’t you hear me call her mom? Are you here as some jokester sent by monkeys?”

Gu Qianru smiled lightly: “Thank you for your concern, but honestly, you’re worrying for nothing. These kids are very respectful. Though they haven’t changed how they address me, only someone who’s been through it personally would know the warmth of their respect.”

Han Jiujiang felt a bit embarrassed: “Sister, she’s just stubborn; don’t hold it against her.”

Gu Qianru smiled slightly: “I’m too grown to take it to heart with a junior, besides, whether I’m doing well or not, anyone with discernment can see, no need to speak of it deliberately.”

The Han Family, when coming to make a reservation, arrived late, and all the private rooms in the restaurant were booked up, so they reserved a spot towards the edge, which was quieter than the main hall.
