CHAPTER 103: PROJECT DRAGONS.
[Analysis is currently active.]
[Breaking down the first issue.]
Ciel, standing at the side of the cave, could only watch as her master stood in front of the eggs she had created, mana flowing through his body.
While she didn’t fully understand what he was doing, she could still see the multiple floating screens hovering in front of him at a rapid speed.
[First theory has been extracted using Analysis.]
[Theory: Depending on the seed used in growing the egg, the baby can form into three distinct creatures.]
[Low-grade sperm from low-grade creatures - Lizard people.]
[Mid-grade sperm from powerful people - Drakon-kin.]
[High-grade sperm - Monarch dragons.]
’I am surprised it actually worked,’ Dorian thought. ’Given that my skill can’t work on Ciel, this is inadvertently a good opportunity for me.’
He paused, reading the information on the system.
’Lizardmen. I have heard about them in my former life, but I have never actually seen one in this world. But this is fascinating. So, depending on the quality of the sperm, dragons can take on different races under a single species.’
Before he knew it, an excited look had played on his face; he could no longer hide his growing curiosity.
Seeing this, Ciel simply smiled.
Something about watching her master be this fascinated about her offspring gave her a bit of joy, especially in this new world she knew so little about.
’System, focus on the growth aspect. I need to know how quickly an egg can hatch, similar to Ciel’s.’
[Analysis is now active.]
[Scanning for needed information.]
[Information has been gathered.]
[Hatching a dragon’s egg can go in many ways. First, forced hatching. This is the method many dragons most likely used as they couldn’t risk the egg hatching prematurely and turning into a killing machine.
This process involves feeding the egg with sufficient mana, capable of causing it to hatch once it has been fully matured. Given the current situation, you lack the needed mana to hatch all these eggs.
The system will begin to find other ways to successfully hatch a dragon egg.]
[Analysis is active.]
[Finding method... error.]
[Finding alternative method... error.]

[Method found.]
[Magic Crystal Incubator.]
[Injecting magic crystals with your mana and fusing it with your God’s Aura will make your mana duplicate by itself due to the nature of the magic crystal, which is meant for preserving mana. Placing the eggs under this in a small space—]
’Can act as an incubator—’ Dorian completed. ’Yo, this is genius! Why didn’t I think of this?!’
His grin grew even wider as he stared rather intensely at the system.
’Acquiring the needed magic crystals for this is not an issue. And from what I have noticed, my God’s Aura does make my mana last longer. I have a doubt though, that it might be infinite. Normally, I feel I can hatch all the eggs myself, but mana and mental strength are two different things.’
He paused and looked to the side.
’This method works best. I won’t need to be directly involved, and it will make things easier no matter how many eggs this woman lays.’
Dorian suddenly looked at Ciel, bright and happy.
"I have thought of an idea. I’ll bring my crew here so we can work on it. Do dragons have a thing for other species coming near their eggs, or...?"
Ciel smiled gently.
"Master, I think you worry too much. I created these eggs for you and you alone. While I myself would love to see my race rise back into power, this is entirely for you, especially since there is a chance the other dragon masters already know you exist."
"Other dragon masters?"
Ciel nodded.
"If you’re wondering how I know this, I don’t exactly have an answer. Just like from the moment I was born, all my knowledge of this world is based off of intuition, even while I was in my egg.
My instinct told me of a man who harbored mana stronger than that of a dragon and was capable of hatching me.
My instinct told me how inferior humans are. My instinct told me how my race had died and it was my duty to bring them back. We dragons are not like regular creatures; we are far different and more developed in nature."
"Yeah, you’ve made that abundantly clear," Dorian sighed. "So you’re saying there are other people who have tamed dragons and will come for me?"
"My instinct tells me so, yes. I have no other knowledge about it—who they are or where they are. All I know is, building a strong enough army is my top priority for you. My master shall not be bested by the likes of them. I am the one true dragon, Child of Ragnor. No other dragon is my equal."
Dorian turned his gaze back to the eggs.
’Dragons were recorded to be facing extinction, and only the king currently has a dragon in his custody. I believe there are other kings who have dragons as well, but chose to keep it a secret. Could it be them? Heh, so there is a chance this king of mine will be my enemy? Interesting.’
He took a step forward and placed his hand on one of the eggs.
’If that is the case, then there is no reason for me to hold back.’
Suddenly, he began pouring his golden mana into one of the eggs he had chosen to use as a test subject. Ciel’s eyes widened in amazement as she watched.
She knew Dorian’s mana gave her life, but she had never really seen how it worked.
It was truly beautiful, nothing like the golden mana she saw when she battled him. The golden light shone so brightly that it could be spotted from far away as it escaped the cave.
[Notice: If you choose to awaken this dragon egg, due to multiple factors, the chances of a Drakon hatching is not certain.]
’You’re saying these eggs will be mixed with different races?’
[That is correct.]
[Using the Analysis skill, I can also determine which egg is which. Would you like me to do this?]
’Look at you, being helpful. Sure, go ahead. My mana is already flowing into the egg, so I can’t say I have a choice.’
[Request confirmed.]
[Analysis has been activated.]
[Nature of egg: Dragon-kin.]
Dorian narrowed his gaze a bit.
’Dragon-kin? I wonder if that is what Ciel is? Though she called herself the true dragon, so I can’t really say it will make any sense. Now I am even more curious.’
He further pushed his hand against the body of the egg, feeling as his mana poured into it.
Unlike with Ciel, he now had better control of his mana, meaning what he spent weeks to do back then could be done in less than a few minutes.
And so he did, spending the next fifteen minutes pouring his entire mana into the egg all at once.
It got to a point where Ciel considered helping, but a part of her wanted to truly see what her master was capable of.
And then—
Crack!
The egg cracked.
[The dragon has awakened.]
As the egg shattered open, a dragon walked out. It was small, no bigger than a couple of inches.
Its brown wings were glued to its back, and its green eyes scanned its surroundings, as if slowly gaining consciousness with each passing moment.
’Wait? This dragon is normal?’ Dorian was surprised.
But not as surprised as Ciel.
"What the fuck is that?!" She yelled while pointing, her brows furrowed.
