Reborn From Oblivion
Chapter 999
Arthur''s face changed in a heartbeat. "You built that?"
He couldn''t hide his excitement. "The robot at Stewart Enterprise-that was you, too?"
Morris shrugged, one eyebrow raised. “Yeah. That was ages ago, honestly. It''s due for an upgrade, but I''ve just been too swampedtely."
Mrs. Vincent sensed something was up. "Arthur, what robot are you talking about?"
Arthur jabbed a finger at Morris, nearly shaking with the news. "He made an Al robot that''s basically human. That''s why Mr. Moore didn''t even hesitate to sign with the Stewarts and dropped us without a second thought."
Mrs. Vincent was floored. It finally clicked her grandson, who''d wandered back home after all these years, was actually a prodigy.
The shock faded quickly, reced by joy. "Nathan, if you put your skills to work for the Sharp family, we''d have the whole industry in our pocket."
Morris frowned, just a hint of it.
Arthur spoke up again. “But what if he doesn''t want to help us? He already gave his tech to the Stewarts."
Mrs. Vincent''s heart plummeted, disappointment flickering in her eyes. "Nathan, you''re one of us. You should be thinking about the Sharp family''s future. The tech you gave Ashley-could you give it to Vincent Corporation, too?"
Morris met her gaze, wondering how she could ask for something so unreasonable and still keep a straight face.
But Mrs. Vincent was a businesswoman, used to turning everything—even family —into a transaction. It was only natural for her to assume Morris had no reason to do the Sharp family any favors.
She looked a little uneasy now. "I know the Sharp family hasn''t treated you well, and you''ve had your fair share of hardship. I''m sure you resent us."
"But Nathan, you''re home now. The Sharp family''s future is your future, too. Don''t worry-if we do well, I''ll have your father give you five percent of the shares."
Morris tapped idly on his wheelchair''s control panel. "Five percent, huh?"
He remembered how, when he was with the Stewarts, Nathalie had dered in front of everyone that the entire Stewart Enterprise was his, just to make him feel at home.
After that, even the household staff treated him like royalty.
Mrs. Vincent forced a smile. "Do you think five percent is too little?"
She hurried to exin. "Stewart Enterprise is a family business, but they gave thirty percent of the shares to key contributors to keep people loyal. The remaining seventy percent gets split between the fours branches of the family sons, daughters-inw, grandkids-so everyone''s share ends up pretty small." s
Morris looked up at Arthur. "How much does he have?"fn72df Discover more novels at find[?]ovel/fn72df
Mrs. Vincent hesitated. "Not much more than the others."
She thought she could pull the wool over his eyes, but Morris didn''t let her off the hook.
"Sixteen percent, right?"
She hadn''t expected him to know the family''s business so well, and it showed. "Maybe your father gave him a bit extrater. I''m getting old, I can''t keep track." s
"And the other siblings? Around eight percent each?"
Mrs. Vincent looked like she wanted to disappear.
Morris just smiled, cool and unfazed. "I''m not interested in the Sharp family''s shares. But-"
His eyes were cold, cutting through any pretense. "I could wipe out the city''s four top families in three
months,
or force Vincent
Corporation to run off across the ocean, barely hanging on. Don''t underestimate me."

With that, Morris spun his wheelchair around and rolled out, leaving the room in stunned silence.
