Shangguan You’s heart skipped a beat, surrounded by a familiar scent. Her face turned livid as anger surged in her chest. Her feet kicked out at the person in her bed, while simultaneously, the Water Element ensnared him and hoisted him high into the air.

"Looking for death." Shangguan You threw off the covers, fists clenched, and glared furiously at the man twirling in midair. Damn it, why was he in her bed? Why? She’d been teased by someone again.

"Girl, you invited me here. How can you treat me like this? I just wanted to bask in your scent. How can you be so cruel to me?" The man’s lips quirked. He let himself be suspended in mid-air, spread-eagled, and even winked at Shangguan You, enjoying the sensation of flying.

This mischievous man was none other than Ye Qiu.

"I didn’t invite you into my bed," Shangguan You gritted her teeth, staring at Ye Qiu. Seeing his eyes, which held a teasing glint that wasn’t quite a smile yet not entirely serious, Shangguan You desperately wanted to march over and gouge them out. They were eyes brighter than stars, yet the expression within them made her blood boil.

"But you weren’t here, and I was worried about you, so I had to sleep in your bed," Ye Qiu said with a smile. With a flick of his hands, the Water Element splashed to the ground and vanished.

"Worried about me? What does that have to do with sleeping in my bed?" Shangguan You replied, her teeth gritted and her eyes furious. If she weren’t at home, afraid of waking her family, she would have roared out loud at this damn scoundrel.

"Naturally, it’s related. When you return, you can feel my warm embrace. That way, you won’t wander around at night," Ye Qiu raised an eyebrow and took a few steps closer to Shangguan You.

"Stay away from me!" Shangguan You roared, stepping back. This Ye Qiu couldn’t be understood with common sense. So, don’t get angry, don’t get angry, Shangguan You told herself, trying to calm down.

"You’re the one who invited me," Ye Qiu approached again, a deeper smile in his profound eyes. "I want to know about the Hidden World Family, and also, I want your help to find someone." Shangguan You took a few deep breaths, forcing herself to cool down, ignoring Ye Qiu’s burning gaze as she spoke indifferently.

"The Hidden World Family? The people from the Zhuge Family are a bunch of bastards. But even though they’re bastards, if you satisfy me, I’ll definitely tell you. I can even help you find that kid Zhuge Feng. How about it?" Ye Qiu gave a mischievous smile, his arms crossed, looking at Shangguan You with a teasing gaze.

"Satisfy you?" Shangguan You sneered, watching Ye Qiu become increasingly shameless as he drew closer.

"That’s right. I can also tell you the things your family is hiding from you, and even about Ouyang Xuan and Lin Mengjie. So many conditions in exchange for satisfying me – it’s worth it, right?" Ye Qiu leaned in to savor her scent. His long, slender hand gently lifted a strand of her hair, brought it to his nose, and relished it.

These past three months had been hectic for him; he hadn’t seen the girl in all that time. Now that he had, and had even held her, a faint warmth spread through his heart. He was finally beginning to understand things he hadn’t before.

He had rushed over as soon as he received Ye Qiu’s message, only to find that the girl had already run out. So, he had no choice but to wait for her in bed, hoping to hold her when she returned.

Shangguan You’s body stiffened. Holding back the urge to kick out, she took a few deep breaths, forcing a smile onto her face as she looked at Ye Qiu.

"If your answer satisfies me, then I can satisfy you. Otherwise, how would I know if you’re deceiving me?"

"You sly girl, you’re too cunning. So, you satisfy me first, and then I’ll tell you," Ye Qiu said, a wicked glint in his eyes as he toyed with a strand of her hair. His head was just a centimeter away from Shangguan You’s shoulder and getting closer.

"What do you want?"

"Simple. Give me a kiss first to quench these three months of yearning, then..." Ye Qiu’s words turned into a pained groan as Shangguan You kicked him hard in the stomach and threw a punch at his face.

"Girl, that kick was brutal enough! And you even ruined my looks. How can I have the nerve to stand next to you now?" Ye Qiu clutched his stomach with one hand and caught Shangguan You’s fist with the other, retreating as he spoke.

"Aren’t you capable? I’m sure this is easy for you," Shangguan You bellowed.

Then, KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. A series of knocks sounded at the door, followed by Liu Ruoling’s voice from the entrance as the lock gently turned.

"Damn it, go quickly!" Shangguan You hissed, diving entirely under the covers. Ye Qiu smirked wickedly, lifted the blanket, and slipped in beside her. He turned on his side and wrapped his arm tightly around her waist.

"Shh, someone’s coming in. If you want them to know, go ahead and shout," Ye Qiu whispered in her ear, his hot breath spilling onto her skin. She shifted uncomfortably. Hearing Liu Ruoling’s approaching footsteps, she obediently stopped moving and began to feign the deep breathing of sleep.

She had no choice but to let that bastard Ye Qiu hold her waist with his hands, press his legs against hers, and rest his head on her chest, brazenly taking advantage of her.

Dawn had just broken outside, but the curtains in the room were drawn tightly. Since Liu Ruoling hadn’t turned on the light, the room remained dark.

"Girl," Liu Ruoling called softly. Seeing Shangguan You seemingly fast asleep, she smiled gently and pulled the blanket up a little higher for her. Then, smiling faintly to herself, she carefully began to tidy up the room. She went to the bathroom and collected the clothes Shangguan You had changed out of.

Liu Ruoling did these things every day. Shangguan You had refused countless times, but Liu Ruoling insisted. Shangguan You had no choice but to let her. But wasn’t Liu Ruoling supposed to sleep in a bit more today? Why was she up so early?

"Rest well, girl." Liu Ruoling, holding the clothes, gently kissed Shangguan You’s forehead before closing the door and leaving.

Hearing the fading footsteps, Shangguan You’s Spiritual Energy flared up again, and she attacked the person who was still shamelessly taking advantage of her.
