    ...Maybe I was a bit too enthusiastic. I was beating the demon back and forth, sending it into walls with my newfound strength.

    The demon yelled at me as I looked down upon it, giving me a sense of superiority.

    I spoke like an edgy character within a novel. I mean, who could blame me? Thrown into a different world, forced to be basically enslaved by some random girl, and most of all, having to fight for my life. You could say I used the demon to vent out all my built up frustration that I never knew I had.

    I fired a singular black arrow at the demon, and it struck true. It lodged itself deep into the demon''s knee, causing it to bellow in pain.

    The demon scrambled to its feet, attempting to swing its axe at me.

    I flew out of reach, allowing me to casually evade the axe from a comfortable distance.

    "Translation: Fight me you coward." [Spirit Guide]

    The demon''s words somewhat annoyed me. So much so that I decided to come within arms reach and stare it dead in the eye.

    Tears streamed down the demon''s face. The moment I had destroyed it''s weapon caused it to bawl its eyes out.

    It''s voice caused the cavern to tremble, and made my ears feel like it was about to be ruptured.

    I knew I had to kill the demon, but seeing it in such a pitiful state made me think otherwise.

    I pondered about it as the demon''s tears began to form a puddle, but I kept getting sidetracked from its obnoxious crying.

    I was back on the grind. After hearing that line repeat a few times, a new notification was given.
