CHAPTER 170: CHAPTER 170: SEARCHING FOR SOMEONE AT THE HOSPITAL

When Ye Honglian and Wu Chunmei headed back, Gu Yi gave them some fruit to take with them.

She also packed some apples in a basket and went out with them.

"Where are you going?"

Wu Chunmei watched Gu Yi come out with the fruit and asked.

"Didn’t they say Fang Hong is pregnant? I’m bringing some apples for her."

Though Gu Yi is young, she’s good at social interactions.

When they first heard that Fang Hong was pregnant, they also brought some eggs to visit her.

"Fang Hong has been having morning sickness lately; bringing her some apples is a good idea."

Gu Yi thought it was normal to crave things during pregnancy.

"Sister-in-law, there’s no need. I’m just happy you came to see me. I’ll have Jianjun buy them later. This is a good time to make him fetch things for me."

Fang Hong said sweetly with a smile.

Li Jianjun, hearing her words as he came out with the washed apples, smiled along.

"Okay, if you like them, I’ll get more for you tomorrow. Just tell me if there’s anything else you need."

"Sister-in-law, have one too."

He also handed one to Gu Yi.

"Doctor Yang is on the third floor, in the internal medicine office."

Though slightly impatient, the nurse still gave her the information.

"Thank you, doctor."

Chen Jun’s mother thanked her, glanced around, and realized she didn’t know how to get to the third floor.

Finally, after asking another patient’s family member, she found the stairs to the upper floors.

Once on the third floor, she searched room by room.

She finally found Yang Lin in an office near the end of the corridor.

"Yang Lin, auntie finally found you."

Yang Lin was talking with Wang Li when she heard the words from outside.

She looked up to see it was Chen Jun’s mother.

She was quite surprised to see her there.

Wang Li saw someone come for Yang Lin and greeted her before returning to her own office.

As Wang Li passed by, Chen Jun’s mother thought about how girls in the city seemed prettier each one she saw.

She managed a flattering smile at Wang Li.

"Auntie, why are you here? Is there something you need?"

Yang Lin remembered hearing from that bully about how Chen Jun’s mother asked him to put on a show.
