CHAPTER 49: CHAPTER 49: GOT THE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

Gu Yi glared at Ye Hao.

Ye Hao didn’t mind, and he grinned back at her.

"Are you sober now?"

Gu Yi was actually a bit worried that Ye Hao had drunk too much at noon.

Gu Yi looked at Ye Hao playing coy and couldn’t hold back her laughter.

"Okay, since you know you were wrong, I’ll forgive you this time."

They smiled at each other.

"Let’s go visit your parents. As their son-in-law, I haven’t gone since we married. Today, I should make a good impression so they can vouch for me if I upset you later."

"You’re thinking way ahead."

"Of course, I can’t be with you every day. If they keep me in your thoughts, you won’t forget me."

Though said in jest, they were Ye Hao’s true feelings.

Being in the army, he was used to coming and going without too much attachment.

But now there seemed to be a different longing for home.
