CHAPTER 456: CHAPTER 456: SOMEONE IS LOOKING

Gu Juan sat in front of the mirror, carefully examining the bruise on her face. The hospital had given her medication which she applied, but her face still looked frightening.

"Liu Miao, very well, you forced me into this." Gu Juan softly touched the wound on her face, revealing a sinister smile.

Outside the door, Old Mrs. Gu cursed the entire Liu Miao family.

"Grandma, I’m going out for a bit." Gu Juan said to Old Mrs. Gu.

For this grandma, Gu Juan was still quite filial, often buying her clothes and delicious food. On the contrary, she became increasingly indifferent to Wang Meili.

"Are you Liu Miao?" the child asked, "A brother with the last name Zhou asked me to tell you he can’t come over and wants you to meet him at the usual spot tonight."

Could it be Zhou Ting?

Liu Miao recalled the intensity of that night, feeling a flutter in her heart, but didn’t Zhou Ting clearly say it was a misunderstanding?

Liu Miao walked into the factory with a smug smile.

After work, unlike the past few days when she dawdled to leave with others, she dashed out of the workshop early, spent a long time in the dormitory picking out clothes before stepping out all dressed up.

The man still had that vaguely familiar yet unsettling stench to him.
