CHAPTER 63: CHAPTER 63: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

"I don’t want it." Gu Juan said angrily, "It’s just a can of crappy food. I won’t eat it."

With that, she slapped it out of Old Mrs. Gu’s hand, smashing the can on the ground, "If I can’t eat it, then no one else will."

To slap herself in the face in front of so many people, she might as well die.

"Oh, this is a sin." Old Mrs. Gu came to her senses and saw that the can had fallen to the ground completely, mixed with the shards of glass, she said with heartache.

"You wicked girl, how can you be so malicious? Why don’t you go die with your dead mother?"

After saying this, she made a move to hit Gu Lingling, but Gu Chunhai protected her from behind.

"Are you going to abandon us, the orphan and the widow? You promised your big brother you would take care of us." Wang Meili cried out.

"I’d be better off dead." Old Mrs. Gu also started crying and shouting in the main room, "Oh Boss, why didn’t you take your old mother with you when you left, leaving her here to suffer?"

"Oh Boss, if I had known, I shouldn’t have saved this ungrateful one back then, she’s a heartless wretch."

Gu Chunhai closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

How similar this scene is to years ago, when he didn’t want to agree with Old Mrs. Gu to marry Wang Meili, she was the same back then.

"Grandma, what do you mean?" Gu Lingling felt a chill all over under Old Mrs. Gu’s stare, but colder still were her words.
