Adam's not blind. He can clearly tell that Isla is mesmerized by him. Her looking at him with dazed eyes, seemingly lost in her own thoughts, is enough to display her interest in him.

This is also not the first time this has happened. It happened at the concert, and then right when they entered the restaurant, and now.

Adam, of course, didn't mind it because he is completely used to it by now.

Every day, some girls develop a massive crush on him just because of his looks. Most of the time when he is out in public, he gets approached by girls asking for his number.

This is not something Adam will ever be bothered by. Especially because sometimes the girls who do approach him are very beautiful, just like Isla here.

Adam finishes repeating the order to get a confirmation from Isla, only to find her still staring at him with her dazed gaze.

Only when Suzaan gives her a small pinch from under the table does Isla snap out and nod her head, embarrassed.

"Great, please wait. I will get your food as soon as possible," Adam says with a smile and heads to the kitchen to update Ellie on the new orders.

Back at the table, all eyes are on Isla.

"Leader, I must say. I didn't expect that from you~" Kylo says to Isla in a teasing tone, grinning from ear to ear.

"Shut up!" Isla answers, annoyed.

"There's no point in hiding it anymore. Your behavior was a complete giveaway. Couldn't you have at least pretended to act cool before him?" Suzaan says.

Hearing this, Isla's face turns red, feeling even more embarrassed.

"Do you think he noticed?" Isla asks Suzaan, hoping that Adam didn't notice her being a complete mess.

"Of course, he did. It was written all over your face. He just decided to ignore you so that you don't further embarrass yourself," Suzaan says, sighing.

"Oh, my God! What do I do now?" Isla asks worriedly.

"Nothing! We finish our brunch, and when it's time to leave, then maybe if you want, you can talk to him and ask for his number," Suzaan suggests.

She can't believe the cool, collected leader of their band is losing her shit just because she got completely swept away by a handsome guy.

"I can't believe you are still interested in him. Didn't he reject your invitation last night?" Suzaan questions directly. Now that the truth is out, there is no point keeping it a secret from the other members.

"Wait! What do you mean by last night?" Kylo questions.

"The guy was at our concert last night, and that too at the very front row. Isla saw him and invited him backstage, but he rejected her, even though the guard whom she sent to fetch him revealed to him that it was Isla who wanted to see him," Suzaan clarifies, making Isla blush again.

"Whoa... I didn't expect this from you, leader~" Kylo says and turns to look at Adam, and sees him talking to the other waitresses.

"He was at our concert last night? But from the looks of it, he doesn't seem to be a fan at all," Kylo says, and Adam indeed showed no sign of excitement or recognition when they wanted in.

"Then what was he doing at our concert last night? That too in the front row? Why spend so much money if not to watch us perform?" Isla asks defensively. She wants Adam to be a fan so that when she does have that one-on-one moment with Adam, she will have a way to connect with him.

"I guess you are right, but then again. Look at him, do you think he will be interested? From the looks of it, he seems very popular with the girls," Kylo says as he watches Leila and Cassie standing next to Adam, leaning in while showing great interest.

He is not the only one who notices it. The other band members can also see the two waitresses showing clear signs of attraction towards Adam.

Isla feels very jealous. In fact, she wished she could switch places with one of the waitresses so that she could talk to Adam right now.

"*Tsk* I don't get it, sure he is good looking, but not something out of the world for girls to be falling head over heels for him," Jean finally speaks up, and he clearly doesn't have a very good opinion about Adam.

"It's not just about his looks... There is something magnetic about him that's hard to resist..." Isla says while her gaze softening when looking at Adam.

Seeing this, the frown on Jean's face deepens.

"Now that you mention it, I can see it as well. He is very charismatic, and his presence is very inciting and calming," Kylo says.

"I noticed it as well. I can see why girls would fall for a guy like him," Suzaan chimes in, too. She might not be attracted to men, but she can see the appeal that Adam holds.

"See, I told you. He is different~" Isla says.

"I thought you wanted to focus on your career and had no interest in dating anyone. Why the sudden change?" Jean asks Isla.

Isla turns to look at Jean and frowns a little. She doesn't like the tone Jean is using right now, and she knows very well what Jean really wants to say.

The other two don't know this, but Jean had already confessed to Isla and wanted to date her, but she rejected him, using the same excuse that Jean just mentioned.

She didn't expect Jean would bring it up right now in front of the other members. Sure, she did say those words, but it doesn't give Jean the right to hold that over her head just because she is now showing interest in someone else.

Isla never wanted to be with Jean anyway, so that excuse she used was to let Jean off easily, so that he wouldn't take the rejection to his heart.

And since then, Jean never brought up the topic ever again. Isla thought Jean had moved on because, since then, Jean has had a lot of sexual partners over the year; he even dated a few girls, though none of his relationships lasted for more than three months. It was a very common thing for musicians like them.

But now, seeing the look on Jean's face and the tone of his voice, Isla realizes that Jean really hasn't moved on at all.

"That was then, but now I am interested," Isla says, making it very clear to Jean about what she wants.

Jean scrunches his brows but doesn't say anything further.

Kylo doesn't think much about the interaction between Isla and Jean because he is a guy who lives in his head and doesn't give two shit about what's happening in the outside world.

But as for Suzaan, she is an observant girl. And being Isla's best friend, she knows about Jean's attraction towards Isla, and the rejection as well. She also didn't expect Jean would still be hung up on Isla and try to make a scene now that Isla is trying to get some.

She doesn't like Jean's behavior, but she won't call him out for it, as in her eyes, it's Isla's business to handle. She can only be there for Isla and provide support.

About five minutes later, Adam comes back with their food and begins serving them with a professional smile on his face.

He does notice that the band members are now looking at him with even more intensity. Isla, Suzaan, and Kylo are all very interested in Adam, but as for Jean, Adam can sense the hate in his eyes.

'What's got him so bothered?' Adam wonders, but when he really thinks about it, there can only be one answer to his question.

He has seen that gaze before. It's when a guy looks at him with jealousy and hatred because their girls start showing their attraction towards Adam.

It's a classic emotion that Adam has gotten used to.

But instead of making a scene out of it, or confronting Jean for holding a grudge against Adam for not being a fault, Adam lets it go. It's not like Jean can do anything to Adam.

"Enjoy your food~" Adam says and leaves the band to their brunch. He does notice that Isla tried saying something when he was about to leave, but couldn't bring herself to say it.

Adam found it amusing but didn't linger to make her feel awkward about it. He moved on to serve other people.

Half an hour flew by with Adam serving the customers and talking to Leila and Cassie when Adam got the call from the table occupied by the band again.

They are done with their brunch, and they all seem satisfied with the food, except Jean. He is still not happy about Isla showing interest in someone else. Now they want to bill so that they can pay and leave.

Adam arranges it quickly and gets paid for it. Isla even leaves a generous tip for him, which Adam accepts with a smile. Money's money, no matter how insignificant it is compared to the fortune that Adam holds.

"Umm, can we talk~" As Adam was about to leave, Isla finally built up the courage to speak up.

Adam stops and looks at her. "Sure, is there something else I can help you with?" Adam asks, still being very professional.

"Umm, not here... In private... outside...." Isla says as her cheeks flush red.

Adam commends her bravery, and since she managed to speak up, he decides to fulfill her wish.

"Sure... I will meet you outside in a minute," Adam says with a smile and leaves.

Isla's face blooms with a smile, hearing Adam's answer, while Jean's face twists into an ugly frown.
