CHAPTER 64: MAKING A NEW FRIEND

"Looks like you had fun," the guy says, looking at Candice.

Wondering what he is talking about, Adam looks at Candice and realizes that her makeup is still a mess.

Having all the attention on her, Candice realizes that something is wrong with her. So she looks around, sees a reflection of herself, and realizes what the guy meant.

"Oh! Babe, I need to go to the washroom. Can you wait for a few minutes?" Candice asks.

"Sure, go ahead," Adam says, unbothered.

Candice smiles and takes her leave.

"I need to clean up as well," the girl next to the guy says and leaves without bothering to ask his permission.

He just watches her leave before bringing his attention back to Adam.

"Name’s Danny. What’s yours?" the guy asks.

"It’s Adam," Adam answers. Since Candice is away, he has some time alone to talk with this Danny guy.

"Dude, your girl’s hot. Is she your girlfriend?" Danny asks.

"Ah, I see. Well, if my girl looked like yours, I would have made her my girlfriend," Danny says.

Adam is sure that if he said anything about Candice being greedy for money or called her easy, this guy would be in her DMs, throwing money at her left and right.

Though there is some truth to his words, Adam doesn’t agree. Sure, some girls only want money, but some girls are looking for something much more.

Of course, you will only find these types of girls if you go out and look for them.

A perfect example of such a girl is his boss, Ellie. Too bad she is in a relationship with another idiot.

Adam, too, can find these types of girls if he wanted to, but decided not to. These types of girls should be left alone and be far away from him. He knows the type of person he is right now, and they don’t deserve the chaos that he can bring into their lives.

Maybe in the future, he will find a decent girl to be with, but for now, his goals are different. The choices of women in his life are different.

"Whose your father?" Adam asks as he is now very curious about the identity of this Danny guy.

"My dad is William Coronant," Danny says with a proud grin on his face.

Hearing the name genuinely surprises Adam. He can’t believe he is standing beside a Coronant.

William Coronant falls under the top hundred billionaires in the world, and his son is standing right beside him.

"You are the son of William Coronant?" Adam asks, double-checking to make sure.

"What? Can’t believe? Just look at my eyes. They are the same as his," Danny says, pointing to his eyes.

Adam doesn’t know what to say, as he doesn’t know what William Coronant’s eyes look.

"No need. I believe you," Adam says.

But when he looks at this Danny guy, he can’t believe how big of a loser he is when he is the son of William Coronant.

Adam can’t believe a girl with no influence or background can show attitude to him. Adam saw the way the girl dismissed him. If he were a billionaire’s son. He would never allow someone to disrespect him like that.

Even though it’s not his personal influence, it would soon be his. So people better show respect.

’How does one turn out like this?’ Adam questions and realizes the irony of his question. He, too, was no different. In fact, he was worse.

This guy, though a loser, still seems to be getting some kind of action. He, on the other hand, couldn’t even do that.

’To each their own, I guess,’ Adam thinks and decides not to bother thinking much about it.

"I like you, Adam, let’s be friends," Danny says, suddenly extending his hand towards Adam.

Adam is surprised, but doesn’t hesitate to take Danny on his offer. He would be an idiot not to be friends with a Coronant. Of course, he is doing this for his own selfish needs. But this Danny dude seems to be too oblivious to such things.

He is clearly being dragged around by that no-name girl, and he is letting her do it. Adam doesn’t know why Danny is like this, but he knows he will figure it out soon, now that they are "Friends".

"Great, let’s exchange contacts. Tell me, what else are you interested in?" Danny questions Adam, and they soon begin talking about stuff that they like.

Inside the women’s washroom, Candice stands before the mirror. She looks at the mess that her face is in right now.

If anyone saw her, they would think she must have cried a lot. Well, she did cry, but not out of sadness.

She wipes off her old makeup and starts putting on a new layer.

The girl who was with Danny walks out of one of the stalls and stands next to Candice, and starts to touch up her own makeup.

"You were a mess. What did you two actually do inside?" The girl couldn’t help but ask, as she was very curious as to how Candice ended up in her current state.

Candice stops and looks at the girl. She was surprised by this girl’s boldness, but Candice is not a shy girl.

"Well, my man’s dick is too much for me to handle. I need to get more used to it," Candice says with a smug smile on her face. Clearly bragging about being with Adam.

The blond girl is surprised by Candice’s answer, but then smiles, seeing that Candice is just like her. Bold and confident.

"How big?" the girl doubles down.

Candice looks at her again, smiles, and lifts her hand to show her forearm. "As big as this, maybe even bigger," Candice brags.

"Olivia," the girl introduces herself. "Candice," Candice introduces herself.

Adam sees this and thinks nothing of it.

"Looks like the girls became friends," Danny says.

"Looks like it," Adam answers.

"Maybe we four should hang out some times, what do you think?" Danny asks. Adam looks at Danny, who seems almost desperate.

"Sure, I will get back to you when both Candice and I are free," Adam says.

"Great!" Danny says with a big smile on his face.
