CHAPTER 341: CHAPTER 341: FOR THE ARKSHIP

On planet Eridoria.

It had been two days since Constantyne had given that summoning roar to the world. The whole peach valley had become completely restless since that time.

Apart from tigers and the creatures that came with the magic shuttle, no other creature was alive in the peach valley. They had either been killed or chased away.

The magic shuttle had not been attacked, Constantyne didn’t give any such orders to the tigers. Rather, they had been left alone.

For those tier 4 tigers and the three tier 5 tigers, two days was not a lot of time.

Over at the curved metal structure sticking out of the ground, at the base were the earth wrapped around the dark silver body.

A bald man floated a few meters above the ground, naked and imposing. His skin was fair and blemished by the deep blue, red, and green stripes decorating his body.

The man had a tiger tail with multicolored stripes coiling about behind him. He looked dignified and intelligent, even his eyes seemed to be doors that held a vast amount of knowledge and wisdom.

The only hair he had on his head was his eyebrows, aside from that, his face was as smooth as a baby’s.

But even then, his head and cheeks were also covered in those multicolored stripes.

The stripes glowed with magical power flowing through them.

The man had his hands behind him and legs put together as he floated in the air, looking beyond the trees at the distant horizon, waiting.

His two eyes glowed with the light of blue and red magic runes which spun around within his pupils.

"Belgrod, aren’t you tired?" A voice came over from below, causing Belgrod’s ears to twitch slightly.

"Why aren’t they here yet?" Belgrod asked no one in particular. He looked quite impatient.

"I don’t know, don’t you think it’s better if they don’t come?" Agatha asked from below. She looked up at Belgrod with her hands placed on her waist.

"No, I’ve said it before. If they come here, we could gain from it potentially," Belgrod slowly descended to the ground until his feet gently touched the soil.

"If he is here for the arkship, we may be able to use him to activate it, maybe give us more access to different places," Belgrod said.

"Does that sound logical to you? With that brain of yours? Do you think if they came for the arkship, they’d be willing to share what’s in it with us?" Agatha asked with a mocking expression.

"They’ll have no choice," a deep voice came from ahead. Constantyne walked up to them with a serious expression and orange fire burning in his eyes.

He towered over Belgrod and Agatha, looking down at them.

"This is all under the impression that they actually came here for the arkship. What if they were telling the truth and Darius is the reason why they came here?

Darius didn’t know the true secrets of the Arkship before leaving, I doubt he would have been able to tell the Lion anything." Agatha defended.

"If that is the case, then we would have summoned all of them here for nothing," Belgrod said, gesturing toward his left.

His hand pointed to the group of tigers that were all lying around or doing something mundane with their time. Each of these tigers was not less than three meters tall, a few of them were taller.

Some had wings, some were overly muscular, some were covered in flames, some had horns. All of them were tier 4.

To see so many tigers gathered in one place was rare, to see so many high-level tigers gathered in one place was unimaginable.

What was even more amazing was that they were not attacking each other or engaging in fights like they would usually do.

The only reason this was so was because of the three tier 5 tigers who demanded their cooperation. They respected strength.

Constantyne shrugged his shoulders, "So what? Even if they are displeased, would they dare challenge me?" Flames spewed from his nostrils.

"No, but it would affect the way they look at you from now on," Belgrod said.

Belgrod suddenly raised his head up and stared into the distance. His vision seems to pierce through the trees and flora, seeing the world for what it was.

Agatha and Constantyne also looked in the same direction.

"They’re here," Belgrod said as he narrowed his eyes dangerously.

His breathing calmed.

The sixty-two tigers also became alert as they started to hear the strange noise.

It was the sound of the trees being tilted against the ground. They produced light cracking sounds that would be inaudible on a regular day but many trees were producing this sound, creating a cacophony that was hard to ignore.

And then, it appeared, the silver magic shuttle.

Belgrod swallowed his saliva and struggled to keep himself from overreacting. It was just as he thought.

He had never seen a magic shuttle before but the design of this magic shuttle he was seeing was painfully similar to the metal structure behind him.

They both seemed...futuristic, complex, they were both...

"A machine," Belgrod said.

"Just like the arkship," Constantyne nodded.

It was confirmed, these visitors had come for the arkship.

"Everyone, prepare for combat," Constantyne said as he brought his arms up to fold them against his big chest.

The sixty-two tigers all stood up, ready and growling. Those that had been in their humanoid forms quickly switched to their tiger forms. The way Constantyne had described this potential threat, they had to be ready.

The air in the vicinity instantly went so stiff that it could be cut with a knife, any ordinary creature would faint from suffocation if they were to be here. The only creatures that could breathe were those with the sheer might to snatch the oxygen by themselves.

The ground vibrated faintly, moving at a steady frequency. Any higher and it would crack, and an earthquake would form.

The silver magic shuttle approached quickly. The giver runes around her vessel glowed brightly and produced a humming sound.

All the cannons of the magic shuttle were out and pointed at the group of tigers ahead.

At the top of the magic shuttle, Kael stood wide-eyed, gazing at the tigers as well as the curved metal structure behind them.

"That’s a lot of tigers..." He said while taking a deep breath.

He had not even arrived but he could already feel their presence, it was suffocating. So many tier 4 tigers, all preparing for him.

He was flattered, but also found it annoying.

These tigers were not like the herd creatures whose combat ability was somewhat limited by their body.

No, these tigers were absolute machines when it came to the art of hunting, killing, and slaughter.

"Can I go now?" Oliver asked from behind him. He had successfully found Kael and delivered Constantyne’s message but Kael had not released him.

"You may leave," Kael said nonchalantly. He had simply kept Oliver around to entertain himself. He had already served his purpose, killing him would simply be a waste of energy.

Oliver walked to the edge and jumped down. He landed in the midst of the trees, still away from the group of tigers ahead. He definitely didn’t want to be near this place when whatever was going to happen happened.

Only two peas remained at the top of the shuttle, Kael and Chloe. Katari was nowhere to be found.

Chloe’s wings shook slightly, causing black winds and mini cyclones to form around her. Kael’s deep blonde hair was blown to the side, causing him to frown.

"Katari is in place," Kael said telepathically.

"I know what to do," Chloe responded and nodded her head slightly.

Right after, Kael leaped into the sky. The metal surface emitted a loud pang as the force of the jump sent Kael high.

His body formed a curve that went down to land in the center of the tiger group.

Before he landed, Chloe flapped her wings and flew after him.

*BAM!*

Kael’s sandaled feet hit the ground, causing small cracks. His arrival caused the previously stiff atmosphere to become stiffer. He didn’t bother hiding his strength, he could not afford to show weakness here.

Chloe landed beside him, black winds blew about, ruffling the hair and fur of the tigers.

"For real?" Agatha asked, tilting her head to the side, "This is the lion that you all are so worried about?"

Belgrod levitated over, "It’s not that surprising," He said, studying Kael and Chloe from top to bottom.

"The world beyond the Peach Valley does not have a high amount of Origin Essence like this place does. It would be incredibly hard if not impossible for any creature to evolve past the tier 4 stage or equivalent without coming here," Belgrod spoke as if he was giving a lecture.

’I didn’t know that,’ Kael thought. He had not really thought about it but the peach valley was the first place he was seeing a creature equivalent to tier 5.

"He’s like the strongest from where he’s coming from, makes sense," Constantyne said to Agatha. It was almost as if they did not treat Kael as a visitor but as a strange specimen.

At this point, they had already been surrounded on all sides by the sixty-two tigers. At the same time, the magic shuttle had approached and was close to hovering over their gathering.

Kael raised his brow, "You guys know that the language you’re speaking isn’t yours, right?"
