Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 487: Blushing Snow
CHAPTER 487: CHAPTER 487: BLUSHING SNOW
Blasted away by Exalon’s titanic slap, King Vander made a beeline downward, leaving the confines of the arkship encirclement.
"Where is he going?" One of the lion’s Kings thundered out loud from his command chamber.
That slap had disoriented King Vander and everyone could feel that dreaded misfortune fading away.
They rushed down, leaving Exalon behind.
From afar, it looked like a stream of locusts chasing after a very tiny bacterium.
Cannon beams shot down from the sky, their fiery spear-like tips rushing after King Vander’s figure.
King Vander, having regained his bearing, wanted to use the warp effect to fly out of the way and twist everything that was currently happening in his favor.
But it wasn’t going to be so easy.
One beam hit him, sending him deeper and farther away from the red star and the islands.
King Vander could feel his impending doom.
He was being overwhelmed from all sides, his powers were failing and he could no longer easily escape their encirclement.
If he were surrounded, they would all be able to shoot him down.
A few seconds later of King Vander trying his best but nothing still worked. The arkships have curved over to surround him from all sides.
His body turned and twisted, evading the beams by a hair’s breadth but many were starting to hit him.
He was going to die.
In the last seconds of his pitiable life, King Vander felt that this was truly his time to die. It was ironic, he had been a slave to the whims of fate and fortune all this while and he never once thought that his end would come so suddenly and without preparation.
Fortune Lions tended to delude themselves that they could always be ready for the day they would die since they would be able to sense it approaching, and maybe even avoid it.
Hardly did they remember that raw might and a disgusting amount of firepower could change everything for them.
In the last moments of his life, King Vander’s vision overlapped. He saw all the karmic and fate strings linked to his body begin to cut away.
Strings that had been built up since he was young to his current age, now, they were all cutting away, signifying the end of a node point in the universe.
What had he done to deserve this? All he did was slightly side with the notion from Kael’s enemy...
At the same time, he was also blinded by the hundreds of beams that collided with his body at the same time.
His thick and tough fur quickly burned up from the intense heat. His eyeballs burst, and the blood vessels exploded.
He was vaporized instantly. His body was strong enough to ensure that he endured about two to three seconds of ungodly pain before dying.
All that was left was a charred skeleton.
There was no celebratory cry, the sound of cannon blasts continued echoing as they switched targets.
Only one person would get the mystery gift and it would be the person who contributed the most to the death of the sinner.
Most of the lion kings knew that they didn’t exactly stand a chance to win so they turned their gaze to the red star headquarters of the String of Fate Coalition.
They just wished with all their hearts that more would resist and be tagged as sinners.
Meanwhile, while all the commotion was going on, soon to be coming to an end, a line arkship drifted the edges of the battlefield.
If it could even be called a battlefield.
This was the arkship that Alora and Shawty were traveling in.
In the command chamber, Alora stared at the holographic screens with a cold blue gaze. She seemed unmoved.
She was aware of the destruction that was happening and the scale, she was also aware of the fact that Kael’s current power and influence were a direct threat to her.
But all this was insignificant compared to the pressure Ibadon had given her that day.
So, because of her one-time experience with the dragon-lion hybrid, she found it difficult to even consider any of these lions and arkship here something serious.
"I’m loving him more and more," Shawty squirmed from her pillow throne. It seemed like the sight of all the carnage was getting her turned on.
Alora didn’t say anything. She knew that most of what Shawty said beside her concerning Kael was just to see her reaction.
"I can see why you are even thinking of compromising for this hunk. Aurelius said it, power loves power.
Oh my, oh my, imagine what I would feel when he’s on top of me...Aaaghnm!"
Alora could not help but look at Shawty with a weird expression breaking her aloof demeanor.
She wondered where Shawty got the boldness to do this kind of thing without shame.
"Aah, you’re thinking of it too?" Shawty’s eyes brightened as she saw Alora looking at her.
"What?" Alora raised an eyebrow.
"Yes! I forgot you’re a fucking virgin, you don’t know how it feels," Shawty exclaimed, seeking to tease Alora in the midst of the chaos happening outside.
"What are you talking about?" Alora asked, trying to play dumb.
Shawty chuckled, "I know you thought about it.
Just imagine it for yourself, that hunk of a lion, humping ruthlessly and unapologetically over your body.
Aaaauuugh, yes, mnh.
Alora, it’s heaven.
You just need to lie down, or bend over, whichever one you prefer. Then allow that Primordial dic..."
"Enough!" Alora scolded, her eyes instantly turning cold and the temperature dropping rapidly.
Still, the lustful and playful smile on Shawty’s face didn’t disappear. She could clearly see the faint red hue on Alora’s cheeks.
When it came to keeping a straight and arrogant expression, Alora was probably the best, no one could beat her at it. But she couldn’t hide the natural blush that came as a result of this humanoid form.
And to make it worse, her skin was white as snow, an albino lioness. The redness of the blush was very clear and evident.
Alora’s frown deepened, "Shawty, I don’t know what you’re constantly having on your mind between me and Kael.
I won’t try to assure you of anything, nor will I claim anything. I don’t care about your opinions, to be honest.
But I would prefer it if you could respect my boundaries and leave this matter till you meet the Primordial yourself."
To Alora’s clear warning, Shawty just chuckled. Perhaps, she would be able to take Alora more seriously if she weren’t currently blushing.
But Alora was serious. She could feel the hotness of her cheeks but didn’t try to control it because she didn’t care.
She knew where she wanted to be and she had her goals laid out for her. No one was going to divert her from becoming what she wanted to be
No one would stop her from becoming the god she envisioned, no one would make her compromise, no one would stand in her way.
And if Kael decided to stand in her way?.
Alora’s eyes narrowed. She didn’t try to think of it but her heart ran cold.
"Wait, does that mean he’s expecting us?" Shawty asked
"I already told him that we’re here," Alora suddenly said.
Shawty’s eyes widened, "SEEEEEEE. What need did you have to tell him that? What need?
You, Alora, are living in denial. Don’t worry, if you won’t have him, I’ll be happy to fill your spot."
Alora rolled her eyes.
////
"All-King, here’s the heavenly beacon," Exalon said as he briskly walked into the command chamber with a glowing orb floating above his outstretched hand.
Kael nodded his head, "Keep it with you for now,"
Exalon node, deciding to look for a place to store it.
The heavenly beacon could not be placed into any storage equipment as it belonged to the heavenverse itself.
And most lions would be able to sense the presence of an ownerless heavenly beacon.
Exalon would have to keep it in a secure place that was close to him.
"Gather the remaining Heavenly Beacons from the other sinners," Kael said, sounding authoritative.
Exalon nodded, already used to it. Almost all lions tended to sound authoritative when they were tense or casual; he didn’t see Kael’s tone as strange or offensive.
As Exalon was about to walk out, he turned around to see that Kael still had his eye on the holographic screen.
"What are we planning for the String of Fate Coalition?" Exalon asked.
Kael blinked, peeling his gaze away from the holographic screen. He looked at Exalon.
"The original String of Fate Coalition should be disbanded.
The anti-power wave from that rocket isn’t going to last long.
Recruit as many Fortune Lion Kings as possible and get rid of those you can.
Surely, those who can escape might regroup, but that’s nothing.
We will create our own String of Fate Coalition. One where every member is already part of the Lion System.
With this coalition, the Primordial Supporters will have a firm backing behind them. We will be able to work towards our desired future with few impediments.
This is just the first step of The Great Purification."
Kael spoke solemnly.
With the addition of the fortune lion kings, as many as possible, Kael would have more confidence in what he wanted to do.
Moments like this made him want to do another full dive into one of the previous Primordial Lions’ memories to see how they handled their own.
"Okay then," Exalon said, hiding the eagerness in his voice. He knew that Kael was not telling him everything, which only made him anticipate the future more.
