Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 506: Is He Ready?
CHAPTER 506: CHAPTER 506: IS HE READY?
Memphis shook her head, "I did not come to see him,"
"Oh," Exalon opened his mouth. He looked back to see that the enemies were already retreating.
When he remembered the relationship between Memphis and Ma’abu, a few days were connected in his head.
"Did you come to...?"
"No, I wasn’t even interested in your conflict until recently." Memphis said, clearing up the confusion in Exalon’s mind.
She continued, "I merely came to show myself and check something."
"Oh," Exalon nodded.
"Strange, you’re tier 6 yet possess the power level of a tier 7. This must be the work of the Primordial..." Memphis muttered as she removed her gaze from Exalon.
Her mind flashed with many possibilities as she traced what could happen if she used such power on herself.
"Yes it is, Memphis. Now that you are here, would you like to see the All-King?
He has been planning to meet you," Exalon said while given a slight bow.
"I know," Memphis nodded calmly. She acted as if nothing could really surprise her, like someone who had seen everything that could happen.
"Let’s go then," She said.
Then, she took a step off her strange magic shuttle. As soon as her feet left the metal surface, the vessel began to shrink until it became the size of a cub’s head.
The palm sized shuttle fell into Memphis’s hand and she waved it away, storing it in her spatial storage device.
Exalon watched this process with his own thoughts. Seeing that Memphis was done, he led the way, flying downward with Memphis following behind him.
Their figures were noticed by many arkships and lion kings. With the hostiles gone, they had the time and energy to divert their focus somewhere else.
"Isn’t that Memphis?" One lion king asked the prince beside him as he zoomed in on the image on his holographic screen.
"That’s Memphis, I heard Ma’abu was her last student,"
"Is that why she was here? Wait, now that I think about it, how did tigers get into our heaven?"
"Yeah, not only did they barge in somehow, they also had the guts to charge straight for the All-King."
"They’ve gotten brazen!"
"But how did they get in? Someone had to open heavenly gates for them, lots and lots of heavenly gates.
How did all of them enter without drawing any attention?"
"It must be Ma’abu. Maybe that’s why Memphis is here."
"So, is Ma’abu determined to kill our Primordial? To the extent he is allying with the tigers?"
"For him to do this, he must believe he can win. Who knows what other crazy things he’s planning on doing."
"He must be eliminated as soon as possible, the longer he’s alive the more trouble he’ll cause for us."
"You’re right, we need to start a massive hunt for him right now,"
"Will there be rewards?"
"Obviously,"
"So Memphis is the reason why they retreated?"
"Possibly,"
////
The arkships and lion kings started breaking formation as they went around picking up the spoils of the battle. They recovered valuable parts from the wreckage of the tiger arkships as well as the bodies of the tigers.
These bodies could still be used and distributed to the lower tier lions and lionesses to boost their powers.
The lion kings also began to check their mysterious rewards. The tigers themselves were not labelled as Sinners as they were not even lions in the first place.
Only those who managed to kill the few lions among the enemies were fortunate to see their mysterious rewards.
The Mysterious rewards were usually varied amounts of Conquering points or privilege features like lionhood bar refills or rare items from the Exchange section.
While the arkships and lion kings resumed their activities, Exalon and Memphis made their way into the Massive Black Pyramid.
Exalon took back control of the pyramid and reset all the weapon systems.
Silently, Memphis walked with him through the hallways.
The Conqueror Mode Avatar had faded away from Exalon’s form, returning him back to his normal self.
"The Primordial," Memphis talked, breaking the silence, much to Exalon’s relief.
"Is he ready?" Memphis asked.
Exalon turned his head slightly, "Ready?"
"Is he aware of what he is up against?" Memphis asked as she observed the wall beside her.
"His enemies are many. Most of them are not yet aware of his existence, which is why he is comfortable now," Memphis said.
"I assure you, the All-King is far from comfortable right now," Exalon said defensively.
"Then things are about to get a whole lot worse for him," Memphis said casually.
Exalon frowned but didn’t stop walking, "What do you mean?"
"All the mistakes of our ancestors, all the afflictions, all those who have been wronged.
New enemies we never paid attention to, they’ll be coming out soon enough to have a piece of Kael’s flesh.
That’s why I asked if he was ready. Is he aware and is he prepared?"
Memphis asked these things in a casual manner, as though whatever happened really couldn’t be of her concern.
"He should be," Exalon said, not sure himself. As far as he was concerned, Kael didn’t know if all the enemies he had, but he was making preparations and contingencies either way.
"So you’re not sure?" Memphis asked.
"You seem to know a lot, why not help us instead of leaving warnings?" Exalon asked, he couldn’t help but sneer.
"I haven’t decided yet, let me see the Primordial first," Memphis said.
"Hmm,"
The both of them continued walking until they finally arrived at the entrance of the meeting room.
Memphis didn’t wait for Exalon to usher her in, she just walked in.
Exalon eyed her with a narrowed gaze, he was starting to understand that he may not like Memphis that much in the future.
As soon as Memphis entered the room, she took a deep breath. Her powerful nose sniffed out all the past events that had happened in this place.
All the meetings and discussions that had occurred here in the past month were exposed to Memphis with that single sniff.
"Please, stop that?" Kael’s irritated voice came from the corner of the room.
