CHAPTER 581: CHAPTER 581: HIS VISION FOR THEM

The leader of the current Sovereign Merchant, a literal tier 7 Veggie Lion King, was kneeling in front of Kael.

If not for Kael’s status, he didn’t imagine that he would ever have to bow to any tier 6 for the rest of his life.

He was a king for heaven’s sake, his bowing just felt entirely wrong to his biology. But he had to.

The Sovereign Merchant Coalition had more than one tier 7 obviously, but they usually elected their leader.

This Veggie Lion King was merely the elected leader for this century. He would have to step down from his leadership role in the next thirty years or so to make way for someone else.

Right now, he was wondering how unlucky he had to be to encounter Kael during his own tenure.

The leader was not unreasonable though, he listened to what Kael was saying and read through the proposal written on the golden screen.

What he read made a lot of sense and he could not see any flaw in it.

Kael having taken over the commercial side of the lion civilization was unintentional as he had no knowledge of the Sovereign Merchant Coalition as at when he created the exchange feature.

His intention had always been to create a game-like feature, a shop of some sort where lions could freely go to buy items that they needed or sell what they had.

And just as he had envisioned, the exchange feature was gradually turning into a game-like shop with more than a million transactions occurring every day.

Kael would not dismantle this feature just for the sake of the Sovereign Merchant Coalition members, but he could help them find a new purpose.

The Slavers Trade Coalition and Sovereign Finance Coalition would be derived from the single Sovereign Merchant Coalition.

As for the buying and selling of ordinary goods, that was technically beneath their status. Kings shouldn’t have to involve themselves directly in the trade of goods and items the way the Sovereign Merchants had been doing.

It was best if they just left it to the system.

In a way, the system has been responsible for a lot of coalitions not forming anymore.

While the kings read his proposal, Kael had some thoughts in his mind.

’This may all be temporary,’ He thought to himself.

He thought like this because he remembered that when he started out as a small pride leader with few vassals, Kael had been using a specialized caste formula to govern his little kingdom.

When it was that small, the specialized caste system was working well. The wolves were warriors, the foxes were merchants, and the birds did intelligence gathering.

But as the kingdom expanded, such specialization was no longer needed and Kael adapted.

The same could be said for everything that was happening around Kael.

The way the lions operated, with coalitions dividing them, could very well change in the future.

Many of the things the lions were doing right now could be delegated to their vassals, just that they did not know how to do it.

Kael’s vision for the lions was grand, incredibly grand. The things he wanted to achieve with them were far beyond mere slave trade and finance.

No, those things were meant to be delegated to the lower life forms for handling.

The lions were conquerors of worlds and universes.

The reason why they still searched for purpose in the embrace of these mundane activities was that they had not yet elevated their sights to see beyond the constraints of what they had been able to achieve.

Kael was not angry as he would have to show it to them by himself.

For example, Kael had been looking for a way to link the lion system with the systems of his vassals so that the lions would be able to send out missions directly to their vassals from heaven.

But he had not been able to do that yet as he was waiting for a certain Primordial with the power to aid him in his vision.

It was the same for his ideas in finance, trading, assassinations, and war.

For Kael, he wanted a time to come when Lions would focus on giving out missions or completing them.

As for things like trading, research, and other things, those would just be hobbies that they would indulge in, not a way of life for them.

Change will happen as long as he gives it time and space.

In the meantime, Kael would just adjust and evolve together with the whole civilization.

The meeting ended quite peacefully, there was no shouting or disagreements.

The leaders of the now dissolved Sovereign Merchants left with mixed feelings. The goal now was to restructure the whole Coalition and split it into two while also making sure that the members began to join the lion system.

Just like that, Kael was sure to swallow up a few more hundreds of thousands or even more than a million lion kings into his system.

Kael was no longer looking at the overall population of the lions linked to the system.

He just wanted to make sure that ninety-eight to ninety-nine percent of the lion kings were on his side.

According to Exalon, if he were to subtract all those lost Heavenly Beacons that could be anywhere at the moment, the number of lion kings existing at the moment should be around seven million to eight million.

Meaning that a million heavenly beacons more or less were lost.

If Kael could just have eight million lion kings on his side, he would be glad as that was no different from completing the great purification.

The others would automatically fall in line without him having to do anything.

Through his connection with his personal Heavenly Beacon and the lion system, he could sense that he had more than three million lion kings.

Less than one percent of that number were tier 7 lion kings.

’I never investigated how these heavenly beacons are created,’ Kael suddenly thought to himself.

He just discovered that he had never put too much thought into the creation of these Heavenly Beacons.

All he knew was that they had been created during the time of Silax and that lions could sense the location of the heavenly beacons under certain conditions.

’Oh well,’ Kael shrugged his shoulders as a calm smile appeared on his face again. He cleared his thoughts of all the unnecessary things that were not important to his vision and focused on the news he had received not long ago.

Someone, one of the participants of the Consort Trial, had found a Primordial.

The one who had found this Primordial was N’bayé. It was both unsurprising and surprising.

N’bayé was a smart person, it was expected that she would even be able to find a Primordial on her own if she tried her best.

N’bayé had managed to find this Primordial all on her own.

Kael, with his satisfied smile, stood up from his pillow sofa.

All the golden screen flashed in and out of existence around him, something that was happening more often these days as he embodied his law to completion.

His golden eyes shone with intense golden light before dying down again.

He squeezed his fist, he could feel his power steadily rising.

Kael waved his hand to the wall behind him and walked toward it.

"The sky looks...beautiful," Kael said to himself.

The sky of the Leonine has been changing very well in the past months.

It was still multicolored, but not as multicolored as before. The color gold was starting to show more often now and the color purple had long since faded.

The gold was not much but it was very visible now.

The cleansing of heaven was working.

Kael was starting to feel a faint connection with his surroundings from the moment the first shade of gold appeared in the sky.

He had a feeling that as he continued to embody the law, he would be able to establish a connection with the Leonine Heaven.

Kael was eager to find out what would happen once he had fully purified heaven of the sinners’ scum and traitors.

Would he gain control over the reality of the Leonine Heaven? Kael didn’t know for sure.

Silax was the only Primordial to have ever seen the Leonine Heaven in its purest state but he had not embodied the law of Conquering.

Noel had been able to embody the Law of Conquering to a certain limit but never saw heaven in its life form.

Today, in this grand era of the All-King, Kael was the first Primordial Lion to attempt to embody the Law of Conquering while purifying heaven at the same time.

The results of these factors coming together were yet to be known.

"Let’s go and meet N’bayé," Kael said to the empty air beside him.

Suddenly, Katari’s form materialized beside him, her arms were placed behind her back as she stared at Kael lovingly.

"I’ll gather the lion kings for escort," She said.

Kael nodded with a calm smile, eager to see what surprise N’bayé had caught for him.
