CHAPTER 582: CHAPTER 582: HE WILL TALK TO HIS FATHER

Far away from Heaven, in the main universe.

N’bayé was floating above the clouds with a troubled look on her face.

The screams of countless creatures echoed from the planet beneath her but she paid them no attention.

Her eyes were focused on two things. There were two screens in front of her.

One was the Consort Trial platform which showed that her contribution points were increasing. She was now at the top of the ranking.

Actually, she was the only one on the ranking at the moment.

She had already sent a message to Kael and the other relevant people so that her activity could be judged accurately.

Since all she had to do was provide assistance, N’bayé felt that it was enough that she had found this Primordial.

There was no need to engage the Primordial herself.

She knew how dangerous some Primordials could be, even the weak ones.

Besides, this Primordial was affiliated with a strange law that she didn’t want to get close to unless Kael was present.

The second golden screen in front of her was a chat platform where she was having a private conversation with someone.

N’bayé: Ozia, let’s talk when I get back, okay?

That was the last message she had sent to Ozia.

Before this particular message, she had been sending many more messages to Ozia but the latter had never responded.

Ever since he came out of Memphis’s time bubble, he had not talked to her, not even once.

It wasn’t like Ozia had suddenly decided to be an introvert and not fall to anyone. N’bayé knew that Ozia talked to his aunties occasionally, not just to her, his mother.

Ozia even chatted with Katari if the case found it necessary, but he had not once said even a simple hello to his mother.

It was strange, yet, it wasn’t.

N’bayé had spent a week at Memphis’s place and had experienced the way time was flowing in those time bubbles.

She had spent a lot of time there and was now more than sixty years old.

Just like that, time had gone by, yet barely a week had passed in the real world.

While she was there, she had been pregnant with her second son and had delivered a son.

A new Prince for the clan.

She wonders if time intrigued N’bayé to explore more of its effects beyond just the creation of time bubbles. She wondered if she could use the time bulb to accelerate her research.

This got N’bayé curious but it also explained why Ozia was acting this way.

Before Ozia entered the Time Bubble, he had already been suffering from serious neglect from N’bayé.

N’bayé barely interacted with him, even when he made the mistake of falling in love with a fox.

Even Kael, who was a bit distant, interacted with Ozia much more than N’bayé ever did.

Fortunately, after the incident with Isabel’s pregnancy and Kael lecturing him, he had been forced to mature as fast as possible.

It became clear to Ozia that he could not rely on anyone to keep his mind and emotions stable.

Added with Ozia entering a time bubble and spending years inside to be baptized with time and age.

Ozia had not gained the ability to sense the flow of time, he had also realized that he didn’t need N’bayé, he never did.

She had never been there for him in the beginning, why should he start a conversation with her right now?

Besides, Ozia had a lot of things to do right now and couldn’t really entertain any chat with his so-called mother.

N’bayé stared blankly at the golden screen, waiting. A few seconds later, there was still no reply.

She took in a deep breath, maintaining a calm disposition.

She didn’t expect that Ozia would treat her this way. All she wanted to do was study the Gauntlet and maybe guide him in how to use it to prevent what happened with Exalon from happening to him.

She didn’t know why Kael would give such a dangerous godly artifact to a tier 4 lion in the first place.

N’bayé was mostly pushed by curiosity to chat with Ozia and had expected him to understand. After all, Ozia was part Magus and should understand how Maguses think when curiosity is involved.

However, Ozia’s constant refusal to talk to her had caused something to shift in her heart. It was the feeling of rejection.

It didn’t feel nice at all.

Still, N’bayé had to maintain a logical stance. She narrowed her eyes with a dangerous aura emitting from her body.

She was confident that if she could study the Gauntlet for some time, with the help of the Cosmic Research Coalition and the rising Monkey Civilization, she would be able to create another godly artifact for Kael.

Her intentions were neither good nor bad. But Ozia’s lack of interest in his own mother had her thinking of things she normally wouldn’t think about.

"I’ll tell Kael," She said to herself as she placed her hand behind her. The end of her red robe fluttered majestically in the wind as she floated above the clouds.

Even if Ozia refused to talk to her, there was still someone whom he had respect for and couldn’t necessarily deny an audience unless he didn’t value his life.

By her logic, if he refuses to talk with his mother, he must talk with his father.

Yes, she decided in her head, she will report the matter to Kael. Kael was logical to an extent so she was hoping that he would understand her reason.

A new godly artifact was very tempting, even to her.

Suddenly, a ping came from the second screen. Kael had responded.

N’bayé did not have a heavenly beacon but she had come here with the help of other Lion Kings from the Cosmic Research Coalition whom she had promised to repay.

N’bayé waved her hand, dismissing the golden screens.

A proud light flashed through her intelligent eyes. Finding this Primordial had not been easy at all.

Her ears twitched, receiving the loud cacophony of cries and rat screeches.
