Jones ran to the edge of the outer region with a few other rats

"Guys I wish I could give you a motivational speech that will drop you to tears but I can’t the best I can do is tell you that your going to die.." every rats eyes widen when they heard him speak as they ran but non of them stopped running.

".. but I want to give you guys a choice you can turn back go back to your families sit with them and wait for death to come or you can make a real change that will impact your family lives by running into the enemy and show them that you ready to die defending your home." No one answered yet Jones smiled when saw no one had turned back

"Jones" one the rats running with him spoke

"Yeah" he replied but never slowed down his speed

"Never give a speech you suck at it" every rat agreed as the smiled their moral seemed to have gotten better that made Jones smile

"We here" they all stopped running as Jones spoke

Jones looked at the 16 rats with him then he took out 14 scroll giving them to 14 members the rats that had the scrolls gulped swallowing their spit

"Remember the moment they are close tear your scroll" every one nodded their head now the waited for the humans to come as the hid behind the tree’s

Everyone was sweating some were having second about doing this but then a group of five humans appeared now it was to late to have second thoughts

"Gulp"

One rat stepped out from behind the tree looked at the five humans that smiled when they saw him, he hesitated taking the first step but he took it anyway he had a family and it was his responsibility to protect them

He took another step remembering him children he wanted to stop, he thought about running away but when he saw the smiles of the humans as they ran to him

He didn’t want his children to die at the hands of this smiling monsters he ran to them as they ran to him he tore the scroll

"BOOM"

He died but took out five humans his death strengthen the resolve of the others they step out from the trees and ran to the humans

One by one they all hunted the humans they fear as Jones stepped out of the and ran to the humans that were running away with a scroll in his hand

A rat snacked the scroll out of his hand and ran to the closest group of human and tore it Jones had tears in his eyes but this wasn’t the time to cry he had the responsibility of leading the humans to Vice

Now it was him and another rat that remained they looked at the humans that were running away from them except two human

The one with golden hair stood there with its hand over its mouth and the other stood there with tears in its eyes as it looked at two bodies that were burning holding each other.

The human raised its and look at Jones who smiled back at it, for the first time in his life the things that used to hunt his people with smiles on their faces seemed to feel pain he wanted the nagas and the bats to feel the same pain the human had in its eyes because that was the pain they made him live with since the day he was born

He smiled as he looked at its crying face

He watched as it balled its hands into a fists as it clenched its Jaw with a smile on his face, he spoke "COME"

As if it could understand him, its body turned to flames it ran to Jones

Jones and the other rat ran as it approached them

Now they had only one goal to get to Vice as fast a they can

"Why is that damn thing so fast" the human was catching up to them

He gritted his teeth and kept running he turned to look to his side but the other rat was gone he looked back to see he was buying him time

He didn’t waste anytime looking back, Jones wouldn’t let his death be in vain.

After a while his legs felt heavy but he couldn’t stop his goal was in sight and he could hear the human steps behind him

He ran with everything he had to Vice who was where he promised to be

Vice look a Jones as he ran to him he picked up rocks and threw them at the human torch behind him

Although the rocks didn’t do any significant damage they slowed it down then Jones ran past Vice

Vice crouched down and took out his dagger and human stood in front of him squinting its eyes but then other humans arrived

’Fuck, the human torch looks to be D-Rank and the others seem to E-Rank..’as he was thinking a golden haired human ran to the one that was on fire

It was 8 against 1

’The moment they get close I’ll take out an explosion scroll and kill them’ Vice smile as he waited for them to get closer to him but then

"Guys wait that one seems weird!" It shouted making the other humas stop running

"Tsk"

’I have to kill that basted first he’s too smart for his own good’ Vice stepped back so they could cross the invisible wall

"Guys use your long distance skills I don’t know why but it looks like it can’t come close to us" the golden hair human spoke

As they used their skills Vice ran back far enough that the skills couldn’t reach him he was now waiting for them to get past the wall.

’No I didn’t think this through if kill everyone here stronger hunters will come, I need to make sure that they are the last hunters to come here’
