CHAPTER 5 - 5: THE DAILY STRUGGLES OF A MOUSE 1

It's been 4 weeks since Vice has been reincarnated and so far the experience has been horrible, at first he was deaf, blind and hairless so naturally after a few days his hearing, hair and sight started to develop he saw that he was surrounded by large mouse like creatures it was only after he saw his status did finally understand.

He cried for an hour and when he saw that crying led to his mother feeding him he stopped doing it entirely but it was too late the mother thought that he needed more feeding than other mice this made him want to cry more but he didn't he knew what would happen if he did.

He was now 4 weeks old, an adult in mice time and he was leaving home to find his own place in the world

"Do you want to come with us?" A female mouse spoke in a concerned tone.

"No" he had no interest in making friends he needed to leave this place and find a way to get his human form back and then revenge.

"Leave cry baby alone he's finally manning up" a male mouse spoke, trying to eliminate a potential mate rival.

"I can come with you if you w.."

"Bye" he didn't wait for her to finish he just went his own direction, he needed to explore the forest he was in and the predictors here.

The last time he checked his status he had a mental breakdown, he quickly looked at his stats, his agility made him confident that he could out run his enemy's then his mana although it made him sad that he couldn't use his skills, it was only temporary.

'Mom said after another 4 weeks my body will naturally awaken' all he had to do was survive in a forest easy.

His eyes moved to the talent section 'path of evolution, that's the name of that stupid book' he tapped on it

"2 years...fuuuck!" He was about to crashout then

"Change species so I can finally stop being a mouse fuuuck yeah" this information calmed him a little.

"Growl" his body was telling him its time to eat

"She told me if i get hungry to eat some leaves,seeds,roots and fruit but fuck that I want some meat, time to hunt" he disregard his mother's advice.

He searched for prey but after a while he climbed a tree to get a better view of his surrounding's, the trees seemed infinite

"Hiss" his eyes landed to the ground

What he is seeing is a black snake with triangular shape head 'its cottonmouth snake, it has venom and an affinity for water magic, I used to hunt them when I was young. It'll be my first prey" he followed the 5 foot 11 inch snake jumping from tree to tree.

The snake finally stopped concealing it body in a bush waiting for it's prey to come close, Vice stood on a branch wondering how to hunt it.

"Don't worry that crybaby will come soon asking for our help" it was the male mouse that mocked Vice with two other mice

"Yeah darling just listen to my hubby" a female mouse spoke addressing the worried mouse "hubby show her your muscles" after hearing this the male mouse rushed to a bush to skrike a pose

"Hiss..snap"

The male mouse was swallowed before it could even resist, the snake gaze moved to the two mice trying to escape, it swallowed the second mouse

"Please don. .." the third mouse died before it's plea could even be heard, the snake then moved to find the main course.

"Growl"

'Those leaves look quite delicious' he thought after seeing those 3 mice die, he finally understood that he was not the hunter he was the prey.

'4 week's is too long I need to awaken soon, the only choice I have is to forcefully awaken' seeing the death of those mice made him desperate for power.

After eating he followed the snake, to see if it would leave anything behind for him in its next hunt.
