CHAPTER 50: CHAPTER 50: THE ANOMALY 15

As Vice looked at reward 4, he replayed the memory of how he died and it was because the book came out instead of the scroll

’I need to finish that quest’ he was determined to see what ended his life and how it is connected to his reincarnation, his hands were shaking as he looked at the quest

He took deep breaths to calm himself, after a while he took out Raz ring and tried to put it on but it did not fit even on his pinkie

He sighed ’this is annoying’

Vice put the ring at center of his right hand then closed it, he closed his eyes as he guided his mana into the ring

’No security’ he smiled when his mana entered the ring then everything in the ring flowed out to the ground

Vice looked at the things on the ground there was a longsword, 2 books, a tent,2 sleeping bags and clothes

Vice looked at the clothes then looked down at his package although he was proud of his parkage he felt like a pervert

He went to the clothes, tore them and tied them together to make a garment. He tied it across his waist and covered his genitalia

He looked at the books they were about swordsmanship he threw them into his shadow space with the longsword

’Finally I can sleep better at night’ Vice smiled as he looked at the tent and the sleeping bags

Vice put everything in his shadow space then walked to the middle region to find Lucas

’I need to find that guy before he becomes an unwanted problem’ he looked at the map and saw one blue dot near the core region

’Since Lucas knows that I want him dead he won’t be with the others’ he ran to the blue dot, he did wonder why Lucas was at the edge of the middle region

The trees were making it difficult for him to run at top speed they were close together, after a while he made it to the middle region

Vice found the blue dot but it was Valeria

Vice walked to Valeria "Valeria have you seen Lucas"

Valeria turned around to look at Vice then gasped "what happened to you?"

"Just answer me, where’s Lukas?" Vice looked down on Valeria with a stern look

Valeria looked up at him "Judging by your lack of manners when you speak to me you are Vice"

Vice hands balled into a fist ’calm down I need her to control this place’

"Lucas and his friends vanished everyone has been looking for him " she stepped back as she looked at his fists

’The dungeon is still showing his name so he still alive but the problem is where is he’ Vice narrowed his eyes as he looked at Valeria

’The map shows everyone in a cluster, I could kill them all but I need a motivated army for the future’ he crouched down and looked at Valeria

’They are hiding him although no one can stop me from killing him I need this rats to treat me like their god and not question me if I tell them to march to their deaths’ Vice kept looking at Valeria who was looking at the ground

"Valeria I killed all the humans,naga and bats so non of you have to worry and you can tell everyone that the food is not poisoned" her eyes lighted up as she listened to Vice

’I was right they are hiding him they probably sent her here to tell me Lucas is missing, I should assume Jones is involved’ Vice forced a smiled as he looked at Valeria

"Really I don’t have to force people to starve?" She asked with a smile and Vice nodded his head

’I need to make them willingly train and since I can’t use food to control them I will use fear and trust’ Vice put his hand on Valeria shoulder, she tried to dodge it but Vice was faster

"They don’t have to train if they don’t want to but" Vice stopped speaking as he looked at Valeria

"But what?" She stopped smiling

"I was injured while fighting all of them my mana will take months to heal"Vice looked at the ground with tears in his eyes"and the humans will come back soon"

"What will happen if they come?" she looked at his eyes

"They will kill us all" Vice kept looking at the ground

"....."

The was silence between them for a while

"Wait you can just turn everyone into ratman" she spoke with a hopeful smiled on her face but Vice shock his head

"What do mean by that?" She stepped closer to Vice

"Before I could turn everyone who reaches 64 into ratman but now I can only turn 15 rats" Vice stood up and looked back to the core region

"I can make sure that 15 people reach level 64" she looked up at Vice

Vice shock his head "it’s only 15 for now" He walked back to the core region

"Wait does that mean it will increase" she ran to him hopeful

"No its decreasing it was 17 when I went to sleep and now its 15" he wiped the tears from his eyes then turned to look at Valeria "I did my best to protect you guys, even though we don’t know each other I cared for guys but their nothing I can do when the humans come this time"

"No tell me how much time do we have? we can’t let everyone die" she looked at Vice with tears but Vice looked away and kept walking

"Please tell me anything you can’t let everyone just die without trying!" She shouted as Vice keep walk

’I need everyone in the dungeon to become a ratman but they not motivated because they think I can always turn them whenever they reach level 64 but if I make it seem that only a few can be turned everyone will compete for the chance to grow stronger’ Vice smiled as he walked away from Valeria

Vice knew that Valeria could convince everyone to train he saw how much everyone trusted her when he first arrived that was the reason she was still alive but she never did what she was told even when threatened she only pretended

Dispite being told to train everyone not a single rat level increased and then she told him that a few rats trusted her, Vice pretended to be oblivious to everything because he thought he could always take control of the dungeon but when Lucas told him that he knew he wanted him dead Vice understood that everyone was pretending to listen to him.
