CHAPTER 51: CHAPTER 51: KILL VICE

Valeria walked back to the outer region, she looked at her friends who were leaning against a tree

"What happened?" A brown rat spoke as it looked at Valeria puffy eyes

"Did he threaten to kill you again?" Jones walked to Valeria

"No, the humans are going to come back..." Valeria looked at the ground

"The humans,nagas and bats always come why are you crying about it?" the brown rat spoke

"Lucas just shut up and let Valeria finish" Scarlet glared at Lucas

"He said he’s not going to fight them this time because he’s injured" Valeria kept her eyes on the ground

Everyone looked at each other "Just convince him to turn everyone to ratman" Freya spoke while everyone nodded in agreement

"He can’t" everyone eyes widen as they heard Valeria

"What do you mean?" Gordon asked the question everyone was wondering

"He can only turn less 15 rats into ratman for now the number is still decreasing" everyone looked at each other

"Decreasing how?" Scarlet stepped closer to Valeria

"He doesn’t know when but soon he won’t be able to turn anyone into a ratman we need 10 rats to reach level 64 before the humans can return" she looked at Scarlet

"Wait most rats are still grieving how are we supposed do that?" no one answered Fraya

"He might be lying" Jones looked at everyone

"No even if he is lying, the humans,bats and nagas will return and when they do they’ll kill everyone if we don’t get new ratman, we only survived this time thanks to you guys" Lucas looked at the five ratman

"The best we could do is hide everyone as they killed the rest" Gordon hands balled into fists

"Why don’t we just kill him? He came here when we were planning to kill the ratman lets deal with him he doesn’t have soldiers like the ratman" Scarlet spoke

"No he’s stronger than them, thats why I told you all to listen to him until we can find his weaknesses" Valeria looked at Scarlet

"Valeria we already know that he won against the ratman and his army using human tools if we attack before he can use those tools we can kill him" Jones smiled at his plan

"Your plan would have worked if he was still a ratman but he changed his hand can crash my skull with ease" Valeria looked down

Jones eyes widen while everyone else looked at Valeria "what do you mean changed?" Jones spoke

"He has the same size as the nagas and humans if we attack him with the number we have.." Valeria did not need to finish what she was saying, everyone had seen the strength the humans and nagas have because of their size

"...."

Everyone stayed quite as their hope of rebellion was slowly dying

"For now we do as he says and train but when we are strong enough we will deal with him" everyone just looked at Valeria as she spoke

"How many ratman do you think we will need to deal with him?" Lucas looked up at Valeria

"...."

She stayed silent as she tried to think about his strength but she knew nothing except that he was stronger than most of them

"I’ll go help the others train" Gordon walked away from the group

"Does he still want Lucas dead?" Jones looked at Valeria who nodded her head in response

"Then what is he supposed to do? He’s at level 64" Scarlet spoke

"Right now everyone should train even Lucas" Valeria looked down at Lucas

"Are we going to stay at the outer region?" Freya spoke

"Yes, since the place changed again everyone is too weak to stay in the middle region even Valeria can only go there for a short amount of time" Jones spoke

"Lets go train" Valeria walked to the direction that Gordon left in and everyone followed

Vice was entering a passage looking for his dagger

’That damn skill lied, it’s supposed to implant devotion but Valeria and Jones have no devotion’ Vice kept thinking about how easy it was for Valeria to lie to him

’No its my fault for trusting that skill’ his eyes kept scanning the ground for his dagger

When Vice marged the skill with the dungeon, the part that implants devotion was removed now all he had was a skill that could evolve his friends and enemies

’Right now they are training but I need them to act like an army when I face the association’ he turned left and entered another passage

’I need to create social division, first I’ll make the rats and ratman hate each other so I can gain control over them’ Vice kept retracing his steps

’I’ll wait until I have enough ratman to start social division’ Vice walked down the passage where he was swallowed by Beth

’Since I can’t force them to obey me I’ll make them choose to listen to me’ Vice saw his dagger where Beth swallowed him

’People listen better when they think that they chose their leaders, they believe that the leader will act in their self interest’ Vice picked up his dagger and smiled

Vice walked deeper into the hill, after a while he reached the cave, he walked to center and sat down ’how many inhabitants remain’
